Morning all,

Last day of work for the year!   :)   I've got some workbench time coming up over the next 10 days.

Have a great one!

Good morning Bob, Dr. Jeff and everyone arriving later.

Snowing lightly here this morning, forecast calling for more to arrive later in the day, continuing through the night.

Still working slowly on track revision(s) and wiring the layout.  I did get a boxcar that I have been working on finished except for weathering.

Everyone have a safe and productive day!

I'm up much earlier than usual, had to take the dogs to an early groomer appointment.  There was a nice red sunrise this cold morning, it was about 20 when I left the house.    I hit the supermarket after dropping off the dogs, and I'll go to the post office later today.  That should conclude my holiday obligations.

It looks like our trip early next year is a go.  We arranged for our Covid tests, it was hard to find a place that could do them and get the results back to us in time.  I've been researching what happens if we test positive trying to come home (it's not pretty...)

Add:  dogs are back home...

Morning All,

Great opening pic, Bob...I love those colors!

Going to get Covid tested...my son and his girl tested positive. Results could put quite a different spin on our holiday get-togethers. Everybody feels good, so we'll see...not to be a Grinch, but spending the day(s) holed up with my trains sounds pretty good  ;) . Don't tell my wife I said that.

Good morning or afternoon, depending upon how fast I submit...

Just finished wrapping presents, then made the eggnog for tomorrow's Christmas Eve family event.  The nog needs 24 hours to develop the flavors.

Good luck with the test, John, and hoping for continued good health to all.

Afternoon,

House Reno sure does create a ton of dust and the railway's mission is to collect as much as it can.

Been putting together some new details to go with a new kit. These are HO and simple to light with micro leds.

Got my summer sausage and ham ready for the smoker. Today I have to make my gravalox from Artic Char. Will cure for 2 days and then onto the smoker Christmas morning for a cold smoke. Joanna's on homemade Angel Food Cake and Crème Brule. A dozen egg whites go into the cake and the yolks go into the Creme Brule.  No waste.... it all goes to the waist!

A late check in for me.  Today we are at Belize. Water is very calm. We walked most of downtown, which is colorful and built like a fort to withstand storms. Everyone was wearing a mask but not much too see.

I am using my quiet time to do design work on my computer for layout projects. The internet connection on this ship (Caribbean Princess) is excellent. I can even bypass ATT and make calls through my phone. I think the world continues to get smaller.

Hope everyone has a great day, Christmas is almost here!
