Folks, I'm going to take a break from the modelers forum. We both found out today we have (Influenza A) today. Exhausted and drained from this as it started as a sinus infection. We got new medication today and are self isolating from everyone as it is highly contagious. So much for the flu shot we both had.

Good morning everyone.

Burns, OR weather: Sunny, with a high near 55.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Basic two eggs any way you like, hash browns and bacon or sausage for breakfast today.
Toaster is out and plugged in ready for any choice of bread you desire.

Karl, Is that your photo?
I looked out the window a few times last night and did see the northern lights.

TomO, Bruce is doing well.
I speak with him via YouTube regularly.
He and I comment on each others videos.
Not sure which Jim you are referring to.
Hope we don't have to hear from your daughter any time soon.

Jerry, any bench time?

Ron, how'd your team do?

ACLTom, congratulations on the 6 out of 8 points and any more painting planned for today in the shed?

Larry, streaming movies is my go to as well.
Unfortunately there aren't nearly the quantity of movies worth watching as there used to be.

Mike, abutments look excellent.

Greg, Terry, Dave, Dale and anyone else looking in, hope you are all well.

Yesterday was just a take it easy day.
Didn't do much other than take some more bird pics and walk around with Star.
Leaving the campground today and heading west towards Bend.

This is from Mondays hike on the Island in Time Trail at the John Day Fossil Bed National Monument.

Have a great day everyone.

Rick

Philip, I almost forgot, I'm very sorry to read about Gena and your flu.
Hope you are both feeling much better soon.
Read an interesting study recently about a study that found that getting the flu shot increases your odds of getting the flu.
I've never gotten a flu shot and never will and only got the flu once a long time ago.

Larry C

Good Morning,

Figured I'd check in while I wait for the floors to dry; getting ready for Easter.

Rick thanks for the coffee and breakfast. The quality of movies haven't been all that great
the last few years but there are some good ones coming out this year. Nice photo. I'm with you
on flu shots; never have....never will since I've heard the same thing.

Philip hope you and Gina get well soon and the meds help; nasty stuff.

What's happening guys?

It's a sunny 39 with a high of 49 in New York. Been work on the layout a little at a time and started with the next section. Ran out of wood so I ordered yesterday am about 8:30 from N.E. Lumber and by 2pm I got a notice it had been shipped. Should be here Friday or Saturday; not too shabby.

Enjoy your day!!!! Heal up if you're sick and stay safe.

Good morning Rick, Larry and the rest of the crew that drops in later,

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick.  Yes my team made it into the playoffs, safe travels.

Larry, Have fun working on the railroad.

Philip, your health is more important than the forum, take it easy and hopefully you and Gena can get rid of the nasty virus very soon.

Currently 52 and sunny here.  Watch the hockey game last night and the Habs' won 4-2 and punched their way into the playoffs.  Not bad for a team that only had a 2% chance of making them 6 weeks ago. 8)

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning crew,

Rick, thanks for opening, coffee and breakfast.  I'll take my eggs medium.  Safe travels...

Larry, the speedy order process with NE sounds terrific.

Ron, congratulations to your underdog team.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's another bright morning at 44F, headed to a nice 80F. I dropped Sharon off at the doctor's for a blue light skin treatment. I'm watching YouTube videos, waiting to go pick her up.

I didn't get to Sculptamold yesterday, but I did finish the bridge's abutments. I hope to begin staining the bridge kit wood later today.

Have fun,
mike

Rick inquired: "Karl, Is that your photo?

"

Indeed it is, word was the aurora chances were good so I hit the back to check..., all there was just stars, and a song.  Tired we didn't look to hard.

Still cold in MI this morning. A little bench time on tap.  Did a short stint at the bench yesterday but had a 6pm B'day deal for the Doll's brother, 80th.  Was ok, like being in a fishbowl full of asian carp... ::)

All I've got for now.

Morning everyone

Rick thanks for the coffee & breakfast.
The usual fine picture to start the day.

Larry I'll be looking for the next update.

Ron glad your team made the playoffs.

Mike I'll have to go see your update.

Karl nice picture thanks for sharing.

Weather in South Jersey sunny/49.  Later 60.
Now if the dam wind would stop blowing it would be a nice day.
Hopefully later today I will get to the bench painting some details.
I know I know I've been saying I will start a thread I will later this week before the Easter bunny gets here!! ;)

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

I woke up to pee at 2:00 and grabbed my glasses to look outside.  No aurora was visible, so I went back to bed  :o

Good morning everyone.

Prineville weather: Sunny, with a high near 66.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Waffle iron is plugged in and a bowl of waffle mix next to it.
Help yourself to make as many as like.
Butter, real maple syrup and sides of bacon and sausage are all there too.

ACLTom, have fun in the yard.

Greg, how are you?

Dave, 2AM is too early to get up even for me.

Philip, hope you're feeling much better.

Jerry, it's later in the week.  ;D

Karl, any station progress?

Mike, did you make more bridge progress?

Ron, have fun watching your team in the playoffs.

Larry, that is fast shipping.

TomO, I know you've been busy at the layout and doing weathering.

Not far from Bend now.
Found a beautiful campsite near Prineville along the Crooked River.
I can see Chimney Rock from here and Star and I will hike up to it this morning.

This is camp and Chimney Rock is in the background.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick, looks like you found a great spot to camp.  Enjoy your hike today with Star.

ACLTom, have fun in the yard today and congrats on willing a prize for the winter challenge build.

Larry, enjoy your break from the bench.  By the sounds of it, it's only going to be a short break.

Currently 69 and sunny here.  Tomorrow is travel day, should be fun ;D
