Sun  and warm(er) today leads to few chances to "waste my time online..."

Lawn mowing first off.  Froze yesterday doing about half.  40⁰ and 30mph gusts were bone chilling.  Back at that shortly.


Took the Doll for a dentist appointment yesterday.  I have one tomorrow, good thing.  The tooth targeted is fussin' today.  As it seems everything as well.

Mike, not sure when Northern Command is going online, Doc, dentist and such pretty well keeps that a far dream. weather up there has been rough this winter .  We WILL spend most of July there and hide from the dozen plus b'days that month.

Good morning folks,

A nice day shaping up here in Cheyenne...currently 50 going for a high of 66. Hopefully the wind stays calm. Yeaterday was nice until  the wind came in the afternoon, 50+ mph gusts. Ruined an otherwise stellar day.

I got all the shingles colored for the Shipyard at Foss landing. So hopefully when I get home I will have some time to put a few strips on.

Afternoon All,

We made it home around 0600 this morning. The flights once we started were like any bus, I mean plane travel these days.

SIL picked us up and after got home we all took a nap. I still feel tired but can function at least. I'll start my morning walks again tomorrow if I can get out of bed.

Of course both Kathy and I have colds, but I'm just about over mine. Dad seems to have escaped it.

Good afternoon everyone,

Weather here is currently 10C (50F), I think I prefer Florida weather better.

Rick, Montreal lost 3-2 in overtime, they were outplayed in the first couple of periods but really picked it up in the 3rd.  Next game is tomorrow night.

Got a haircut this morning, I look human again  and did some more running around.  Will be going to the office tomorrow.  Really didn't;t want to but it's better to be there than trying to do it remotely.  It least I get paid to go (I don't work for free anymore). 

Not sure what tonight will bring, maybe some work on the staging yard now that I'm home.  While watching the hockey game last night it kept whispering to me "I need some track laid"

Good afternoon from Wisconsin.

I did get a sport jacket, for the rehearsal dinner. It was not approved for the wedding and the ladies said yesterday they will help me pick it out. I said no. Took their ideas and stored them.

Went with Terry to her eye appointment this morning and all is great after the cataract surgery recovery. The issue was the appointment was for 10:15 arrived at 10 and was seen at 11:35. Next appointment is in a year.

I'm relaxing after lunch out. I would go cut and the grass but that is now the grandson's job. It should be done but I am picky about my lawns. I'll get over it

I tried to get an appointment last March for one year out after my eye surgery, butt..."New system...doesn't go that far out...so I forgot about it, remembering the first of the year and..." Oh, we're booked up...until September. Your Doc just works mornings now..." Will be yr and a half...

Good Morning All,

Wow, I can't believe I'm the first in this morning.

Today for breakfast is slim. I have coffee, cereal, OJ, and soda.

I didn't go walking today and slept in until 0730. Dad is still in bed and Kathy is napping on the couch so no vacuuming. Kathy's cold has turned into laryngitis. How will she tell me what I should be doing if she can't talk?

Probably no train room time today or tomorrow but definitely after that.

I was disappointed in the White Pass RR excursion in Skagway. It was only open for the first 14 miles of track and I considered it underwhelming. Of course, there was also a drunk in our car that would not shut up until the conductor talked to him and he fell asleep.

Today I need to get chlorine for the pool and tomorrow I have several pool maintenance items to do.

Good  morning everyone.

Bend weather: partly cloudy and a high of 58.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Breakfast burritos filled with eggs, cheddar and chorizo are for breakfast.

On the phone this morning so keeping it brief.
Wanted to go to Crater Lake but there's still 120" of s$&@ there.
So instead I'll head west to the coast and do hikes and photography there.

Morning and feeling better. I actually mowed, weed eating, and fixed up the property yesterday. Oil changed on the mower. I'm glad to feel human again. Had cold chills Sunday immediately figured this crap would pass. Haven't had influenza since the 90's and don't remember it being as bad. Must be the getting old part.

Today I'm spraying for weeds and later maybe a trip to the roof. Have a funky looking shingle looking at me.

Daughter is on vacation and coming over later!
