Good morning everyone.

Shedd, OR weather: A 10 percent chance of showers before 7am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 59.

Larry, thanks for the coffee and breakfast and I'll look for your update.

Karl, G'day to you as well.

ACLTom, is the Judge coming over today?

Philip, definitely start a thread.

Dave, I think you solved the mystery.
There is a stream just on the other side of the flatcar.
That would be a neat scene to model.
And there was quarrying done at that site.

TomO, great news on having your medical restrictions removed.

Mike, how were the ribs?

Jerry, I responded to your message and look forward to seeing your thread.

Ron, looks liking there's a rising young star in F1.

How's everyone else?

Star and I did a very nice 4 mile hike to a waterfall.
Today is chore day.
Laundry and haircut are planned.

Yesterday's waterfall.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning everyone. A beautiful day on tap for Northern Colorado today. Clear skies and 70s for a high today and tomorrow. I'll be finding some outdoor activities to do today so I can soak up some of those rays.
I have been doing a little modeling everyday but only 15-30 minutes at a crack, but still it is progress.
Hope everyone has a great Saturday!!

Good morning Larry, ACLTom, Karl, Rick, Dale and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Larry, hope you make it to the bench.

Rick, Hope you don't spend all day with the "chores".  I was very pleased with the qualifying results yesterday. 8)

Dale, it is amazing how much can get accomplished working 15-20 minites a day on projects.

Jerry, the book I'm currently reading is "A Darkling Plain" book four of the Mortal Engine series.

Philip, glad you got the decoder issues sorted out, if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Working from home today as the generator that powers our office on site is on the fritz.  Not a huge deal working from home as I'm well setup here.  Managed some bench time last night after watching the qualifying for today's F1 sprint race.  After I'm done working today I'll watch the sprint race and the qualifying for the main race.  Maybe some bench time after that.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Larry.

The bug continues to fight Kathy and I as we try to get better. The nights are the worst. Nothing happening this way. Hopefully some rain this weekend.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning folks,

Larry, thanks for opening, coffee, and brunch.  Congrats on beating the rain.  Have fun at the bench.

TomACL, good luck with the weather.

Karl, good day!

Rick, thanks for another fantastic photo.  Wow.

Dale, hope you find some fantastic outdoor activities.

Ron, enjoy the races.

Curt, sorry to hear the bugs still have you guys down.  Get well wishes headed your way.

Jerry, hope the sun shines and you make it to the beach.

How is the rest of the crew.

It's a rainy day with the high of only 70F.
This morning I painted and stained wood for the cross braces on the bridge. Yesterday's meal with a friend was good.  The ribs turned out perfect and the potato salad and coleslaw hit the spot, too.

Not much on the agenda.

Have fun,
mike

Good Morning All,

Sorry no breakfast this morning. Still have no appetite. The good news is I have lost 12 lbs. Kathy has lost 10 lbs.

Last night was the first night in 2 weeks I didn't have to get up in the middle of the night coughing etc.

I'm going to try to do some chores this morning.

Our Kuerig died this morning. Thankfully we have a one cup travel version we can use.

There's been some outstanding modeling going on and great photos and videos from Rick.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning Curt and others,

Sorry no breakfast here either. Stayed up late with friends and not hungry as yet.

Hope you and Kathy feel better Curt. Sounds like you both had/have a bad case of the crud.

The Judge came over for a few hours yesterday morning and ran trains. While running a Seaboard brass 4-6-2, the drawbar screw came loose and we sent the pacific to the shop for repairs.

I decided not to edge and cut the grass this morning as it looks like rain and I don't want to get it half cut and then it rains.

I got the west side of the third level decluttered. Now to the middle section.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Good morning everyone.

Noti, OR weather: Sunny, with a high near 65.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Stacks of fluffy pancakes with real maple syrup and fresh churned butter for breakfast today.
Sides of sausage and bacon as well.

Curt, I guess the weight loss is good but I do hope you guys start feeling much better soon.

ACLTom, sounds like progress in the shed is being made.

Mike, any more bridge progress?

Jerry and Ron, any race predictions?
Could be another good day for McLaren.

Dale, any progress is good progress.

Karl, Larry, TomO, Greg, Dave, Philip and everyone else looking in, what's new?

Laundry got done but a haircut didn't.
Drove a little further toward the coast again and ended up next to the Lower Hult Reservoir.
I downloaded a good hike to do but not sure if I'll do it today or tomorrow.

My current view.

Larry C

Good Morning,

Curt hope you and Kathy feel better soon; get some rest and
shedding a few pounds isn't a bad thing.

Tom have fun decluttering.

Rick thanks of the coffee and vittles. You certainly find some beautiful places to camp.

What's your plans for the day.

It's 50 with a high of 62 and more rain. Yesterday was an all day event and much the same today.
I tried to order a couple of items from Brett yesterday until I realized he wanted almost 20 bucks
to ship; that's not happening so now it's onto plan B. Maybe if I order a bunch of items from SW then maybe I can justify the shipping costs.

Have an enjoyable day!!! Be well, stay safe, and get well soon.

Philip

Morning all,

Thanks for the breakfast Rick.

Glad you all are better Curt.

Tom my back acre wasn't weeded due to rain last Friday. My dcc upgrade is going to need a longer stud where the drawbar hooks. Oh fun developing a plan.

Twenty bucks Larry! Priority is around 8 bucks. It reminds me of Caboose Hobbies when they were in business but are now gone. I wish Bill at Western Scale was still in business. He was fair and had a quality product.

Colder here today post derby.

Have a good one.

Philip

Good morning Curt, ACLTom, Rick, Larry, Karl, Philip and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick, great photo, looks like a great place to fish.

Curt, glad you and Karen are feeling better.

Tom, hope the de cluttering goes well.

Philip, at least the CSS issues seem like simple fixes.

Larry, 20 bucks to ship, I wished it was only that much to ship to Canada.  I plan to place an order with Brett shortly.  All I know is that whatever it costs to ship it to me here, it's a lot cheaper than getting it shipped home. ;D

Currently 72 and overcast here. Had rain overnight but no rain predicted for today.  One of my hearing aids decided to just quit working yesterday which is a royal pain in the but as now I have to send it to Canada to get if fixed (it's under warranty).  So I'll have to got to a UPS store to get it shipped home as quickly as possible as I'm pretty much deaf without them and of course it had to be the right one which controls the Bluetooth features (insert banging head emoji here).

Yesterday's sprint race was interesting with Kimi having a bunch of bad luck.  Got run off the track on turn 1 (racing incident) at the start of the race and then getting clipped by Max when trying to make a pit stop where he had to abort and try again on the next lap.  That pretty much ended his race.  Today's race should be interesting.  GO MERCEDES!!!!! (although I think McLaren will take it.)

Spent some time at the bench yesterday glazing windows.  I have 4 town buildings to go so I think I'm going to work on them simultaneously.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning folks,

Curt, thanks for opening.  Good news about weight, and I hope you continue to feel better.

TomACL, congrats on the decluttering project.

Rick, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.  That's some gorgeous country.

Larry, shipping is a bummer, especially for details. I loved the Craftsman Structure Shows; all the structure detail vendors were there without shipping costs.

Karl, sounds like a productive day.  Hope it warms up there soon.

Philip, good luck with the drawbar modification.

Ron, good luck with the hearing aid and glazing.

Happy Sunday to all.

It is a grey morning and wet after the soaking yesterday.

Not much to report.  The lintels and cross-bracing wood should be dry enough to use on the bridge, so that's the plan for the day.

Have fun,
mike
