TomO/Tloc

Good morning from So Central Wisconsin. I'm told there is nothing planned for today. I'm going to pack my carry on but also an actual suitcase. Other than that I'm not sure.

It's 49f degrees and gloomy outside the windows. The high might reach 60.

That's all I got

Morning Gents,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast this morning. Sounds like your busy at your
place; hope it all turns out well.

Tom O packing is a lesson in futility; it seems no matter how many times you go over what to take
you usually forget something. At least in my case.

What's your plans for the day.

It's a cloudy dreary day @ 56 with a high of 59 in New York. Lucked out yesterday, the storms were above and/or below us so that was good news with zero power outages. Not much going on today except maybe some more bench time this am.

Have a great day!! Be well and remain safe.

Good morning Curt, Tom, Larry and later arrivals. The sun's out over the lower Merrimack Valley, but clouds are forecast and maybe a shower after lunch. Yesterday's meetings at Seashore conveyed a good deal of information but to get to the wake in time I put off measuring some wheels.  Rain in ME but nice in MA, nice for the daughters of the deceased and friends I hadn't seen in years.

Today I ought to clean out gutters while the weather favors it.  But first a glance around the forum.

8) Sun and 50s this morning.

Had a daughter and grand babe here helping with some things yesterday, was too cold to mow but I did some anyway.  More today.

Little else planned.

Be well all, I see storms headed out to the NE, hang on to your hats.  :o

Our first humming bird was here yesterday, just in time for this weeks chilly weather.

Good morning everyone.

Prospect, OR weather: Partly sunny, with a high near 56.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Hope the pool fix goes well.

Karl, hope you have no issues with the storms.

James, hope the gutter cleaning goes well.

Larry, good news about the power staying on.

TomO, happy packing.

Jerry, hope you get more bench time today.

Philip, congratulations on the 6 miles.

Mike, I'm impressed with all the modeling progress you're making.

Greg, hope you have another nice day today.

Ron, I think Carlos picked the right team to go to.

Dale, ACLTom, Dave and anyone else looking in, how are you?

The rain held off, there was some very brief light rain, and Star and I were able to do our hike along the Rogue River.
Today I'll head to Crater Lake NP and go to the visitors center to find out about trail conditions and what's open.
Then find a place to spend the night just outside the park.
Hope there's not that much s$#@.  :-\

A photo from yesterday's hike.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Curt and all others,

Thanks for breakfast Curt.

Busy day for me today as I have a list of 1:1 stuff to start. My first chore today will be to clean the fence with bleach and water.

After that I'll more than likely be done with the outside for today. Of course that will force me to the train shed.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Good morning Curt, TomO, Larry, James, Karl, Rick, ACLTom and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and bagels Curt, hope the pump replacement goes without a hitch.

TomO, glad to hear the storms are avoiding you, I been ready how violent they are.  Every year they seem to be getting worse.

Larry, have fun at the bench.

James, be careful if you cleaning the gutters.

Karl, hope the storms avoid you too.

Rick, hope you don't run into too much of the white stuff.

ACLTom, cleaning the fence with water and bleach doesn't sound like fun especially in today's heat.

Currently 79F and sunny here.  Finished work early yesterday, came home and watch the F1 Qualifying which turned out to be very interesting.  Your right Rick, it does look like Carlos chose the right team, today's race should be interesting.

Today's plan is to watch the race, get an oil change and then maybe spend time at the bench.

Have a great day everyone.

We had a line of loud thunderstorms pass through last night.  Even the dog who was hard of hearing heard them, and our 2 dogs shook and were very upset for about 40 minutes.  They like going into the bathroom when that happens, and they wanted me to sit with them there.  Wife was getting ready for bed, she said "It's getting crowded in here."

But the result is a nice bright sunny next day with puffy clouds, breezes, and a high of 65.  After a run to the store, I'll go down and do more work on Winchendon.

Rick, in September 2015 I approached Crater Lake from the Bend side. The north entrance road had acted as a firebreak; undergrowth and some trees burned on the west side, untouched on the east.  But nice hiking along the west rim until the cloud deck got lower...

Tom do a double check on the packing.

Larry have a nice day at the bench.

James be careful cleaning those gutters.

Karl I just saw our first humming bird here this week also.

Rick nice picture.  Hope you get to see Crater Lake.

Tom I guess by now the 1:1 chores are done.

Ron enjoy the race.  I hope to watch it to.

Dave god to hear your going full guns on the Machine Shop.

Weather in South Jersey sunny/70.  Later on 74.
Today I have to put new parts a regulator and burner tube in the barbeque.
Not sure what else has to be done.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Good morning.

Have a great Sunday.

Good morning folks,

Curt, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast.  Good luck with the pool pump.

TomO, I hope you enjoy your carefree day.

Larry, congrats on dodging the storms.  Have fun at the bench.

James, good luck with the gutters.

Karl, enjoy the mowing and congrats on the hummers.

Rick, hope you enjoy the hike.  Good luck finding a camp spot.

TomACL, my condolences for being forced to the train shed...  ;D

Ron, hope you enjoy the race and the bench.

Dave, I read once that the static electricity in the air scares some dogs, not the sound.  Interesting.

Jerry, good luck with the grill.  Do I smell BBQ?

Philip, wishing you a great day.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a rainy morning with a forecast of 79°F.  Braves baseball is on the agenda, and working on train stuff.  Last night I printed the water tank core, so now it can get wrapped in wood.

Have fun,
mike

Good Morning,

The morning beverages are set to go with your choice of doughnuts and/or assorted
muffins; enjoy.

What your plans for the day.

It's a cloudy 46 with an expected high of 52 in New York. Going to get some porch paint shortly
but may have to wait on that. It's too cold and too much moisture in the air to dry properly;
waiting for the weather to cooperate so hopefully by June 1st. Finished the rafters and have the roof
boards on my building so maybe I can start adding the roofing to the main part of the building
today.

Have an enjoyable day!! Be well and keep yourselves safe.

Sunny now but turning cloudy, 53 but only heading up to 59 in SE NH.  It'll be cool, cloudy and drizzly all week, apparently.  I'm not complaining (in part because I don't have to cut the grass, which of course loves this weather...)  German class today, then back to pondering what I need to fix on the stuff I've already assembled on Winchendon.
