Good morning, welcome to February and the Baggage Car.

The coffee is ready, thick brewed tariff free Colombian blend from the Juan Valdez growers (a real company). Enjoy! If coffee is not your thing, it's not mine, the sodas are frosty cold, the teas go either way and the juices are cold. There are packets of hot chocolate you can throw in the microwave to heat some water. To go along with Curt's opening today over in Geezers Lounge we will celebrate with them. The menu is anything from the cereal aisle at Costco. That's a first for me!

So. Central Wisconsin is at 24f degrees going to the mid 30's today.

I'm waiting for the Crew Van to take us to an operating session about 90 minutes north.

Enjoy your day

Good Morning,

Thanks for opening Tom and enjoy your operating session today.

Currently doing chores then I'll head to the workbench for a couple of hours. MOH has headed off to a rescue skunk event but will be back in the evening.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning Tom, Curt and others,

Thanks for the soda, like you, coffee is not for me.

I'm spending the day with Pam and maybe get to the bench later this afternoon.

Did I hear sacrilegious talk against the drink of life, Coffee? Be still my heart! I know we have the the right of free speech but I hope the heavens don't open and rain coffee down on those who don't believe! Oh well with coffee in hand I will meet the day head on!

Yesterday I had surgery on my eyelids as they have drooped with age and now interfere with vision. Apparently fairly common. Anyhow had the outpatient procedure and all went well. Due to medicine I can't see clear yet but have to zoom in on page to read and write. So will be taking things easy today and hopefully get some work on the workbench. Have a great day.

We got a couple inches of snow last night.  Not enough to get the driveway plowed, but I did have to dig out the mailbox from what the street plows pushed into it.

Today I'll do a bit of work on the Lamson roofs, then start cleaning the basement, which is a total disaster.  I have a couple black washes on order arriving Monday.  We'll see how they work, the goal is to darken the lines between the slates withOUT causing the paper shingles to lift off the roof.

I'll have a cup of your Columbian blend, Tom.  I'm about to head to the train club for some clinics on scenery subjects.  I'm talking about basic scratch building.

Good morning.

With all the chat about coffee, non-coffee; I'm on both sides of this debate.  Love my coffee, but diet Pepsi tops the list, too.

More of a hot drink day here, temps in the low teens with wind chills below zero.  I'm back inside but I want to tell you not to let the sunshine fool anyone, that is one bitter cold wind this morning.

Still taking baby steps on my caboose build while decaling one boxcar and working on a couple more.  That way I can continue making (slow) progress on something while waiting for paint or glue to cure on something else.

I hope everyone (coffee aficionado or not) has a safe, warm, and rewarding day!

Morning,

I think a Florida vacation is not on the cards for the next four years. The CDN - USA exchange is $0.60 that makes a $145 USD room close to $200  CDN. That means everything is way too unaffordable for a fixed income.

Good morning everyone.
I'm trying to post pictures to my posts but I'm not having any luck.
I uploaded a photo to my gallery and linked to it but that photo doesn't appear in my post.
Went back to my gallery and noticed my photos say unapproved.
How do I get them approved?
I then tried linking to my Flicker account, that didn't work either.
Can someone please help.

I also saw post a comment about simply utilize the click or drag-and-drop option at the bottom of any reply.
I don't see this option when I post.

Morning all,

Tea for me. I'm not a coffee drinker.

Maybe I'll hit the workbench this afternoon. I've been slacking lately and need to get back in the groove.

Have a great one!
