Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast. Rick I'm always here as I stay signed in. So, it may seem I'm here when I'm not. Beautiful photo of the canyon and bridge.

The Judge is coming over so I'll get things ready.

Have a safe day everyone.

Cool and rainy in SE NH.  Saturday Scotch Club is questionable, but even if it's on, I may pass and continue working on house projects.

Not much to report, mostly I started framing the openings to hold some blinds around skylights.  That will continue, but I might have to run the table saw in the garage.

Good morning Rick, Curt, ACLTom, Dave and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick.  The car was a company vehicle.

Dave, Seeing as the car is/was a company vehicle, the company gets to look after all the insurance issues.  ;D

Currently 80F and cloudy here.  Last day of work for me in Florida.  Tomorrow is my fishing trip, really looking forward to that.  Tonight is more packing and purging as I'll be getting rid of a lot of stuff seeing as I don't plan to be doing this anymore.

Have a great day everyone.

Flag Day
God Bless America!

A beautiful Saturday morning here in Michigan.  8) Sun and warming.

No big plans, just a day to chill out. The Doll and I trekked to the W side of Grand Rapids, it's been a few weeks. No big findings just a change of pace.

Sorry to hear of your crash, Ron, that's a rough way to meet new people :o

Enjoy the day!

Be well and stay safe be

Good Morning,

Rick thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Nice photo; I can see why it's called Snake River.

Curt I'll take another coffee, thanks. Don't overdue on the chores and have fun running trains.

Tom have fun in the Shed.

Dave careful working on your 1:1 projects.

Ron at least you're leaving Florida before the summer heat and hurricanes set in. Enjoy your fishing trip and the packing.

Karl enjoy your "chill out day".

What's your plans for the day.

It's a cloudy/rainy 62 with a high of 71 in New York. Not supposed to rain, so they say, but Nature has a different idea. Picked up the new glasses yesterday; boy can I see those tiny parts now!!! Diner out was nice as was the company. Maybe some more bench time today.

Have a great day!!! Be well.

Have a nice day with the judge.

Dave be careful with the saw!

Ron glad you didn't get hurt.
Does this mean your going to be a home body from here on out??

Weather in South Jersey cloudy/64.  Later on 68.
Showers also in the area.
Not sure what the grandkids are going to do.
Most likely they'll head to the boardwalk for lunch.

Happy Flag Day;

We are up in Ohio visiting family. Woke up to 59 and raining, oh well. I hoped to visit a couple railroad friends while here but caught a cold and ear infection so dealing with that. Gives me time to catch up with my reading. Enjoy the day!

Well, all the cutting is over, and I still have all my fingers.  I only had to redo one cut.  I used both table saw and band saw for rip cuts, as well as the table saw and miter saw for cross cuts.   I went to the band saw when the table saw kerf would have been too wide.  I was able to use less wood with the piece I recut on the band saw.  Some parts are gluing up, in a couple hours I'll pull the clamps and paint them.

There was a fair amount of "cut, test-fit, recut" on the chop saw and even on the table saw.

I needed to get a close-to-the-blade cut on the band saw, so I used a fence extender to clear the vertical blade support, that I did for an earlier project.  Previously, I was never able to get a straight rip cut on the band saw.  Then I got a new thinner blade, and that made a huge difference.  i still don't quite trust the band saw, although it did fine for those cuts.  The pieces I cut on the band saw won't be visible, so a bit of mis-alignment won't show up.

This is one of those jobs where my late brother the carpenter would have done it perfectly in 30-45 minutes, instead of the 3 hours it took me.

Good Morning All,

Happy Father's Day.

Today for breakfast is coffee, assorted pastries from an IA bakery, OJ, and soda.

Slow start to the day. MOH didn't make it home until 0500 today, about 6 hours late. I haven't talked to her yet to find out why. She's snoozing currently. Later 3 people are coming to the house to pick up the babies they ordered and 1 tomorrow.

When MOH leaves on Wednesday for SC she is taking 3 babies to her BFF.

I'm sure the baby drama will waste most of the day.

Rick beautiful waterfalls.

Dave I'm glad you were successful on the wood cutting.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning everyone.

Happy Fathers Day!

Twin Falls weather: Mostly sunny, with a high near 89.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Hope the baby drama isn't too bad.

Dave, congratulations on the successful wood cutting.

Greg, hope you have another relaxing day.

Jim, hope you are feeling better today.

Jerry, keep having fun with the kids.

Larry, good news on the new glasses.

Karl, change of pace is usually good.

Ron, should be an interesting start to today's race with George and Max on the front row.

ACLTom, I'm well aware that you're always logged on but there have been times where we both made coffee and breakfast.
Definitely not a big deal since more choices is better.  ;D

Mike, looks like you're having a good time with your sister.

TomO, any plans today?

Philip, what are you up to?

Hope everyone else is doing well.

I visited a few waterfalls yesterday.
Today's plan is hit the gym and then some restocking and then move on to someplace where it's a bit cooler.

A short video of the largest waterfall in the area: https://youtube.com/shorts/oSZJ9YiT9qE

And a photo of the Perrine Coulee Falls.

Morning all,

Happy Father's Day to all fathers.

Curt, thanks for breakfast.

Rick, Great photo of the water fall. I agree, a breakfast buffet is always nice for a change.

Won't stay long as the grass needs edging and cutting.

The Judge and I had a great time yesterday running and moving trains from here to there and the back.

Have a nice Father's Day everyone and stay safe.
