Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, homemade donuts, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 56F under a full moon. Yesterday I painted and weathered the 2 concrete docks, and blackened the remaining metal detail parts.

Today after chores I started painting and weathering the 3-D printed details. The great thing about SW kits is the amount of details and that's also the bad thing when it comes time for working on the details.

That's enough blabbing today.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning everyone.

42 now and sunny with a high of 60 later.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Have fun with all those castings.

I'm on my phone this morning so keeping it brief.
Star and I did our 8 mile hike yesterday.
Today I'll try to get a guest pass at Sam's Club to do some shopping.
Then start heading back to my daughter's boyfriend's house.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning folks,

Curt, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast. Good luck with all those details.

Rick, good luck with the pass.

How is the rest of the gang?

Not much on today's agenda.  Tonight, we are going with our Daughter to see Cirque du Soleil, Luzia.

Have fun,
mike
My current build is the Oil Derrick and miscellaneous rolling stock .

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and doughnuts. Have fun painting all those wonderful SW details.

Rick the parents should bear the brunt of their kid's actions; an 8 year old and a gun? Just glad no one was hurt. Years ago my Daughter was driving and some kid shot out her side windows of her car with a BB gun. She had presence of mind enough to stop and see which house the kid ran into. I called the NYS Troopers and they handled everything. By the time the Courts were finished let's just say I doubt the kid was able to sit for a long time.

Mike take 'er easy and enjoy the show.

Totally clear and terribly cold, may get to 20 sometime today.  Weather person says coldest wether so far this season, looks like a 4-5 day patch of Brrrr...

My grand daughter had appointment with the eye specialists at the University of Michigan Hospital complex yesterday and after a half a day of tests they determined that her vision is not on the verge of going away as the doctor she had seen locally told her.  She will be needing some attention, her vision is going to be fine.  Such a relief to us all.  Great kid, was really down.  Unfortunately at times, her knowledge seeking can send her to the internet in search of information.  Often times that is not a healthy thing.  Anyhow, that IS one less stressor from the 1:1 world here.

Be well all, stay safe and warm.

Good morning Curt, Rick, Mike, Larry, TomO, Karl and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt.  On thing about Brett, he is never shy about adding detail castings to his kits.

Rick, good luck with the guest pass, enjoy the time with your family.

Mike, enjoy the Cirque du Soleil with your daughter.

Larry, enjoy your day.

TomO, the bridge is looking great.

Karl, that's great news about your granddaughters eye sight.

Another overcast day with the current temperature at -7c (19f).  Managed a bit of bench time last night, the hard part of the braking systems for the boxcars is done, the rest of the braking system should be easy (famous last words).  We shall see what tonight brings.

Have a great day everyone.

TomO the bridge looks great.

Pictures yet Ron?

Weather in South Jersey cloudy/37.  Later on 43.
We have some errands to do this morning.
Then we will try and I mean try to get this machine built the right way.
Still don't understand why I'm having so much trouble with it.

Remember if you're out there it is the "SILLY SEASON" be careful.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Good evening, all. NW gusts roar above the trees as the NH seacoast freezes up. Today's high was 38F, 26F now, 7F forecast for sunrise. My wife is teaching Thai cooking for Adult Education a couple of towns away and I'm cooking my dinner; simple and not chewy. Still healing and feeling Monday's extraction.

I'm not aware of any photos of me shoveling snow in my bathrobe.  It's not uncommon but if I see someone spectating with a camera instead of shoveling they'll be redirected.

The morning went to fighting a credit card charge. I tried to hire car transport from an airport. No confirmation page, email or anything but the charge on my bill weeks later, and no search results for the vendor name.  First called the card company, then the airline, 15 minutes on hold, help desk told me to file it on the website.  It worked, but again, no confirmation. This afternoon mostly reading, but after dinner and a Zoom I'll move a project from the unheated attic to my living room.  Overnight lows won't be back in the 20s till Wednesday.

Autocorrupt strikes again!  I like TomO's bridge too, but forgot to mention it earlier.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Got up around 0530 expecting MOH to be gone but she was sleeping on the coach. I did a couple of chores upstairs, washed sheets, fed the animals, and put the 2 skunks going to see the vet in their traveling crates. MOH still hasn't moved. :o

Yesterday, although it was a bit of a slog I got a base coat of paint on all of the 3-D printed parts. Working on them will continue for several more days.

Not much else happening this way.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning everyone.

It's 40 here right now and sunny with a high of 68 later.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
You've already had a busy morning and keep having fun painting the details.

James, hope you got that CC issue resolved.

Marty, good morning.

Philip, any results from the basement hunkering?

Jerry, what machine are you building?

Ron, glad the hard part is over.

Karl, I'm very happy that your granddaughters eyesight will be fine.
Definitely a big relief for all.

TomO, bridge is looking excellent.
How was the volleyball game?

Larry, I completely agree that the parents should be held accountable.

Mike, how was the show?

ACLTom, hope Pam and you are well and anything going on in the shed?

Hope the rest of the crew is feeling well too.

Didn't get a guest pass at Sam's but they let me wander around and see the merchandise.
It doesn't compare to Costco so I didn't get a membership.
Decided to spend one more night alone in the desert.
Will definitely be back with the family today.

This was last nights moon and Boundary Cone.
