Late morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Larry. I hope the3 vet can do something for Mr B.

I edge and pulled weeds this fine day but not in the mood to cut the grass. I was going to cut it a few days ago but said, "Not today".

I'll work on the layout scenery and post the update later this afternoon.

Hope a are having a safe and happy day.

Good Morning All,

Breakfast today is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 73F and low humidity. It actually felt cool this morning. Yesterday all I accomplished were chores and errands.

Dad fell in the house yesterday because he was in a hurry and not paying attention. Luckily he just has soreness and a skinned knee.

Today MOH will be home late afternoon. Today is also son's 42nd birthday. The extended family is going out to supper tomorrow to celebrate.

That's it, oh, no shipping info from SW. :-\

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Sorry to hear about your Dad's fall but glad no serious injuries. Hope you get the SW kit soon.

Tom have fun at the Dentist and hope you bowl well.

What's the rest of the crew up to.

It's a sunny 51 with a high of 80 in New York. Got Mr.B his shots now it's wait and see if he starts eating again. Not much bench time yesterday with everything going on. Paid off the Contractor yesterday so that's a done deal. Maybe get outside today and start some Fall prep and also I may see the bench some time today.

Have a great day!! Be well.

Boy Tom, I wish I had a dental app, These 1:1 visits are killing my budget!  ;)

Bright sun 8) and pleasant :D  yet again in MidMichigan today.  Back to work on the 3d enclosure project.  The Doll has a funeral and a dental appointment today.  I'll just send along the check book. ::)

OPS went well at Keeney's yesterday.  Enjoyed a couple of switch trains(locals) that took much of the day's schedule.  One was left 1/2 finished at the destination, had all the outbounds pulled and still had 4 inbounds to spot...someone will enjoy that next session.  :P  Sort of like trying to unscramble eggs.

No big light show here last night.  It was nice and clear, tho.

Morning everyone

Curt thanks for the coffee & breakfast.
Glad Dad is still in one piece.

Tom good luck bowling with Pam today.

Larry I'm hoping the best for Mr. B.

Karl that sounded like a busy OPS session.

Weather in South Jersey cloudy/68.  Later on 68.
Just had my 6 month ultrasound for my aortic aneurysm.
Hopefully it has stayed the same.
With the rain coming maybe I can finally sit at the bench today.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Tom, Have fun at the dentist  ;D  and have fun bowling.

Larry, praying Mr. B makes a recovery.

Karl, sounds like you had a very busy time at the ops session yesterday.

Jerry, hope you make it to the bench today.

Well, Dad can barely hobble along this morning and the knee is swollen so it's off to the ER again.

Good morning everyone.

My weather here in WA. : 48 now and sunny and 70 later.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Sorry about dad's knee and hope it's nothing serious.

Ron, I think you asked about dogs at the national parks.
Dogs are often restricted from trails in U.S. National Parks to protect wildlife, fragile ecosystems, and visitors, as well as for the dogs' own safety. Dogs can disturb wildlife, spread diseases, damage sensitive habitats, and encounter aggressive animals like bears or moose.

Jerry, hope it's all good news from the ultrasound.

Karl, good news about the fun at the ops.

Larry, wishing all the best to Mr. B.

ACLTom, sorry about the dentist visit but have fun at bowling.

Dave, I spoke German before learning to speak English by watching TV.

TomO, how was the work session.

Greg, Philip, James and everyone else looking, what's new?

Hiked to the top of Storm King Mountain yesterday.
Then added about another two miles by going to Marymere Falls.
Spent the rest of the day and night here at the trailhead.
Today I'll drive to the next trailhead which is Sol Duc Falls.
I might even hike it today since it's only about 2 miles.

This is Quillayute River which empties in the Pacific Ocean at Rialto Beach.

Good morning folks,

Curt, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast. Hope your Dad has no complications with his knee.  Happy birthday to your son.

TomACL, good luck at the dentist and on the lanes.

Larry, wishing Mr. B the best.  Good luck with the 1:1 stuff outdoors.

Karl, good luck with the enclosure.  Your train time at Andy's sounds like it was a lot of fun. Wow, the flower photo.

Jerry, good luck with the ultrasound results. Hope you get to the bench.

Ron, hope you make it to the bench, but do enjoy the sun.

Rick, the photo is fantastic, as they all are.  Congrats on your traveling anniversary.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's another dry, warm day forecast for 85°F.  I'm working upstairs, printing the last of the lodge details and running wires for the lights.  This afternoon, the family is going to see Downton Abbey.

Have fun,
mike

Rick said "Dogs can disturb wildlife, spread diseases, damage sensitive habitats, and encounter aggressive animals like bears or moose."   Same thing is true of people!!

I'm back from a PT session.  I've had a sore hip, and it's the same problem I've had before (muscle stiffness and 'hip joint capsule' soreness.)  It's not bursitis, which is what I wanted them to check.  So a couple weeks of PT should fix it.  Apparently diabetics are more susceptible to this (like so many other things....)

After a store run and walking the dogs, I'll head down to the train room.
