Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, muffins, english muffins, OJ, and soda.

The ER trip turned out a bit more serious than hoped for. Dad has a hairline fracture of his right knee. The brace that he is wearing makes it almost impossible to walk so I'm breaking out the walker that dad hates, but it's safer than a cane. This morning is his first ortho appointment. I'll find out how many appointments he will have including PT. Of course he can't drive now while his leg is immobilized.

The one piece of good news is that I recieved notice yesterday that a shipping label has been created with USPS from SW! ;D

I hope everyone has a good day.

Hazy bright in Michigan this morning with temps 490 headed to ~820 and continued dry. Fire danger is being made on the media. Crops are rapidly becoming mature.

Nice breakfast, Curt. Wish Dad, and you, the best in his endeavors and recovery.

We're waiting on a contractor that will give us a cost estimate for removing some stumps from trees we had cut.

Bench time may occur later.

Enjoy the day all.

Morning Gents,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Sorry to hear about your Dad's knee; hope it heals well. Great news on the SW kit; betcha can't wait for it to arrive.

Karl hope the estimate isn't too much $$. Have fun at the bench.

What's your plans today.

It's a sunny 60 with a high of 79 in New York. Not sure about today but maybe some bench time at some point. Not much else going on here.

Have an enjoyable day!!! Be well.

Good morning everyone.

My Washington weather: Sunny, with a high near 65.
I'm at a higher elevation so a bit cooler and windier than down in town.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Sorry about Dad's knee and hope he has a speedy recovery.

Karl, very nice flower photo.
How's the spray booth project going?
Great version of that song as well.

Dave, you are correct about people.

Mike, how was the movie?

How's everyone else doing?

Thanks for the vanniversary wishes.

Today my youngest daughter turns 36.

I posted my plan for the day yesterday but that changed and even that plan will probably change. ::)
I said I was going to the waterfall trailhead but decided to go to Port Angeles and treat myself to lunch to celebrate my 3 year long journey.
Had an excellent burger and they by luck had my favorite stout on tap.
Being in town I was much closer to a different I hike I was going to do so I drove there.
I get here and find out a fire had started not far away and there was a smokey haze and it was getting worse as the day progressed.
Before the sun went down it was like being in a fog bank.
If it's still that smokey at sunrise I won't do the hike.
Don't want to breath in all that smoke and can't take pictures either.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt.  I understand what you are going through with your dad. Pam and I have been there many many times with her mom .

Time to edge and cut the grass prior to the rains.

Have a safe and healthy day everyone.

Good morning Curt, Karl, Larry, Rick, ACLTom and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt, hope your dad's knee heals quickly.

Karl, great flower photo, hope the stump removal estimate isn't a huge hit to the pocket book.

Larry, have fun at the bench if you make it there.

Rick, congratulations on 3 years on the road, hard to believe its been 3 years already.

Tom, hope you get the yard work completed before the rain.

Another nice day with the temperature currently at 15c (59f).  Another night with no modeling as I've been working on other projects and I have a feeling that tonight will be more of the same.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning clouds burning off, for another nice early fall today.  I spent some time on the phone with Medicare, about an anesthesiologist charge they didn't pay.  "So if the hospital uses an unauthorized provider, they eat the charge?"  Her:  "That's right."  Me:  "Ooh, I like that answer, HCA can pay.  I was thinking, 'I was on the operating table with my butt hanging out.  Was I supposed to ask the provider, 'Do you take Medicare', and what do I do if he says no?  Roll over?"  She laughed.  "I'm glad to make you laugh, you probably don't get that much in your job."

Good morning,

Curt, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast. Get well soon to your Dad.  Congrats on the SW news.

Karl, good luck with the stump estimates.

Larry, sounds like a good day is in store.

Rick, hope the weather improves.  We rented a house in the mountains near there and toured the area.  It is most beautiful.

TomACL, good luck with the lawn maintenance.

Ron, good luck with the "other" projects.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a bright morning with a forecast of 86°F.  There is a low chance of rain, but it is still possible.

Yesterday, I was busy upstairs printing and painting.  I have one more print to cure, then it's off to the paint shop.  Detailing interiors is like a rabbit hole.  I need to draw the line, call it done, and move on (If I can  ;D ).

Have fun,
mike

Karl hope the stump bill isn't to much.

Larry I didn't forget you just got busy.

Rick stay away from the smoke Star to.
Great picture.

Tom get the lawn work and get back to the shed.

Ron I hate when those other projects keep us away from fun.

Dave funny story.

Mike looking forward to the next update.

Weather in South Jersey is drizzle and 67.
Could be a bench day finally.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Morning All,

Rick Happy Birthday to your youngest daughter.

The Ortho visit went much better than expected. His Fx is longitudinal so the tendons are not involved. The doc said don't use the brace. The noticeable pain will last a couple of weeks then start to taper off. No PT and next Ortho appointment is in 6 weeks to check on healing. ;D

Here's hoping the sticker shock for stump removal doesn't come in a gold plated envelope. The guys who remove stumps in our area are pirates!

Glad you enjoyed the Nashville Road OPS session

Good afternoon from another beautiful Wisconsin day. Wispy clouds, nice sunshupine, low humidity with a temperature approaching 85f.

Daughter texted she took hubby to ER. Kidneys stones! That's never fun

Curt, sad to hear about your dad's injury and the lingering pain.

Our afternoon will change if the Son in Law is still in the ER at 3. We will need to pickup the granddaughter up at the high school and haul her into Madison for a therapy session. The middle school grandson gets out 30 minutes after his high school sister but he has his scooter to get him home where 1 of us will be waiting. It's why we moved here close to the grandkids, if they need us, we are available
