Heard on another forum that Atlas bought Micro-Train in the N scale world. Bought up all the assets to move elsewhere and one post said current employees were told to pack up, clean out their desks and you're done.

Planning on continuing work on the oil well today.  I made a lot of progress on the various wheels yesterday.  Today, I hope to get to the NBWs for them.

Freezing rain here with the current temperature at 0c (32f), it's a good day to work from home.  I already dropped the Mrs car off at the garage to get a tune-up and the winter tires put on.  I have to take a couple of online safety courses today to keep my credentials up to date.  After all that I think I'll work on the backdrop or the boxcars, or maybe both, we shall see how it goes.

Morning all,

Well, I'm back after a week off. I started out with a head cold. No fever and the chills only lasted a few hours. The past week I was just to dang tired to do anything. I stayed off the forum and pretty much stayed in the house for five days.

I got a doctor app. and was told I was border line anemic and needed more iron in my system and more rest. He asked me what my activities were on a normal day. He also advised I was probably burning the candle at both ends and to get more sleep and rest. I told him it was hard building a railroad empire.

I don't have sleep apnea but my sleep is connected to my anemia and visa versa. I don't sleep well due to low iron in the blood. He gave me a B-12 shot and now I feel much better.

So, I'll ease back into modeling. In the mean time, Pam has a very bad head cold and I just got her back from the doctor. When it rains, it pours, or so they say.

I haven't had a good day at the bench in a week.  Always something that needs to be done.
