Rick

Good morning everyone.

My AZ weather: Mostly sunny with a high of 57.

I see Curt is here and I'll thank him in advance for the coffee and breakfast.

Curt, hope you were able to make more progress on the kit.

Mike, hope you don't get zapped again today.

Philip, my condolences.

Karl, those 3D prints look very good to me.

Jerry, did you get to stay in?

Ron, that's a crazy long time to wait for a kit.

Jim, hope those 3D prints all turn out perfectly.

Dave, haven't heard that song in a long time.

Larry, did the parts show up?

TomO, did the volleyball team win?

ACLTom, feeling better?

Hope everyone else is doing well.

I did the planned hike yesterday.
I did 9 miles and 669' of EG.
Star did 10+ miles.
Beautiful trail that reminded me of Utah and Monument Valley.
Afterward headed towards Henderson, NV.
I'll drive the rest of the way there today and hit the gym, Costco and a few other stops.

Finished and posted my hiking video at Rainier NP: https://youtu.be/CprsYg4PnPs

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, pastry, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 59F and clear. Yesterday I put the 4 walls together for the Foundry shop then grained and stained a butt load of strip wood for the main office of the complex. This is the last separate building.

Today I'll continue on the kit until son and I go to the matinee. MOH is at another school today.

Philip I'm sorry about the loss of your
friend.

Rick I'll watch your video later. Great photo of you and Star.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for opening. Safe travels.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Enjoy the show with your son.

Philip, condolences on the loss of your Veteran friend.

Karl, congratulations on the 3D print.  You are making headway.

Jerry, hope you made it to the bench.

Ron, congrats on the RDC receipt and good luck with the piston arms.

Jim, looking forward to seeing your handy 3D work.

Larry, good luck getting your parts.

Dave, safe travels today.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's foggy here at 62°F, headed to 72°F this afternoon.  No plans today.  I was going to take Sharon's car for new tires, but gagged when I saw the price of $340 each.  I'm searching for a better deal.  Work continues upstairs.

Have fun,
mike

My current build is the Oil Derrick and miscellaneous rolling stock .

Morning crew,

Morning Rick! Looks like the Ms. Star is raring to go !  Ms. Myrtle was the same,,,,go go go!

Yes Mike... the poof.. vanishing post has been my problem often. RLF would save to a buffer, one of the shortcoming here I suppose...but I'll take it.

Yesterday the funeral home owner director produced the keys and said it's yours. I'm like what! I just shrugged and said I don't have the temperment to run a business of this nature. Mr. Rhoades is 93 and a Korea Vet! Interesting fellow! I must have careworn written on my face? Thanks for the condolences! George would appreciate them!

Another trip to Fort Knox today for provisions. Have a great day!

Philip

Dave Buchholz

I brought the Honey Nut Cheerios!

Well, what's left of the box anyway.

Looks like a good day for modeling today.
Y'all be safe out there.

Rick thanks for opening and safe travels. Very nice photo of you and Star; she looks quite content sitting there.

Philip so sorry to hear about the passing of your friend; my condolences to you and his family.

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Enjoy building the kit.

Karl the 3D print looks quite good; better than I could do. Hang in there I'm sure you'll get better with practice while saving a butt load of $$ in the process.

Dave #5 hope the Mrs is feeling better today.

Tom did you "kick the crud" yet?

What's your plans for the day.

It's a clear and frosty 26 with a high of 45 in New York. Still waiting on parts so work has halted on the Shop for now; I can use the break. Taking Ellie out this afternoon to the Dollar Tree, more like the $!.25 Tree, but she does like to go there occasionally. After that it's a stop at Arbeys for roast beef/cheddar sandwiches and potato wedges....yum.

Have a great day!! Be well and safe travels.

Good morning Rick, Curt, Mike, Philip, Dave #5, Larry, Dave, Karl and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt, have fun working in the kit today.

Rick, Star must of felt strange being in a house after spending so long on the road.  Safe travels.

Mike, Haven't got the RDC yet as it is still in transit, but at least it's coming to the right address this time.  ;D  Going to have to set up my N scale modules so I have some place to run it.

Philip, good luck on the provision run.

Dave #5, Have fun modeling today.

Larry, hope you don't spent too much at the $1.25 Tree.

Dave, Safe travels to Boston

Karl, the building looks great, I would call it a great success.

Not going to comment on the weather today as it's the same as it has been all week.  Not much happened on the modeling front as night as I spent time moving stuff around.  We shall see what tonight brings.

Have a great day everyone

Morning everyone

Rick great picture of you and your partner!!

Curt thanks for the coffee & breakfast.

I'm going to make this short.  Diane needs some help in the kitchen.
Cutting Butternut Squash up for soup.

Maybe some bench time later on the day.  I keep saying that but it just hasn't worked out lately.

Everyone have a wonderful day!! :)

Just watched the video Rick!

You are living the dream.
Hopefully after I get my knees fixed we will be back to hiking.
Lots of good hikes here in East Tennessee.

Good Morning,

The coffee's ready along with the other morning beverages. Breakfast is cold cereal, yup even got Honey Nut Cheerios, and doughnuts to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Sgt. Bob from the RR-Line. Didn't know him but enjoyed seeing some of his modeling threads.

What's on your agenda.

It's 36 with a high of 48 in New York. Errands to run then a trip to Wegmans for the last of the Thanksgiving items; wanna beta the last minute rush of people. My parts finally showed up from Wiseman so maybe I can get some at the bench later today before the "Honey do" list appears.

Have great day!! Be well.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Larry. Beware the honey do list!

Starting at a comfortable 59F. It's amazing how much warmer the temp feels with the sun up compared to at O dark 30. Yesterday I attached planks to 2 walls for the main office.

Today I need to re-read the instructions for the front wall (think old west style front). I read them a couple of times, but am still unclear of what I need to do.
First though is putting together the windows and doors.

Tom I hope you're feeling better.

Rick excellent video.

I hope everyone has a good day.

TomO/Tloc

Good morning from the heavily fogged in estate located in So. Central Wisconsin. 41 degrees now 49 maybe later.

Didn't realize I missed popping in yesterday!

Terry had an eye procedure yesterday that was very fast and minimal side effects. A follow up visit this morning.

Let's see, Wednesday volleyball for the #10 Badgers against #11 Purdue was a 25-23 win for Bucky in the 1st set. A definitive win the next 2 sets for a 3-0 sweep of the night. Thursday night on campus was still #1 Badger Women's hockey crushing #15 St Thomas where the Tommies never had a chance, a 8-0 win for Bucky.

Today, is Terry's appointment and cleaning up and organizing my work benches. Breakfast after and then home. Tonight at 7 back on campus for more hockey. My brother was 69 yesterday, my sister 77 today and the grandson 12 tomorrow. It's on the calendar or I'd forget the dates for them

Enjoy the day

Good morning everyone.

Lower 50's now in AZ and upper 50's later, but it will rain most of the day.

Larry, thanks for the coffee and breakfast and have fun with your new parts.

Curt, you could always call Brett if you have questions.
I replied on YouTube to your comment.
Narrow ledges and deep drop offs are common on my hikes.

Marty, thanks for watching my video and glad you enjoyed it.
Maybe we can do a hike when I'm in the area.

Jerry, I hope only the squash got cut.

Ron, you're right, we don't get inside homes often, but Star acclimated quickly.

Karl, did you get it all done?
I looked up that train explosion in Kingman.
Happened in '73 and I don't remember it.
Killed 12 people.

Dave, how was Boston?

Dave the 5'th, another good modeling day today?

Philip, Star is always ready to go.

Mike, I've been shocked often the past few months at how much more things cost.

ACLTom, Jim, James and TomO, how are you doing?

Stocked up at Costco, got DEF at Walmart and picked up a few more cigars in Henderson before heading south towards my daughter's.
I'll drive the rest of the way today.

This was from my hike in Kingman.
Place reminded me a Monument Valley and Utah.
