Good morning Curt, Rick, Larry, ACLTom, Mike, Karl, Philip, Jerry, Dave and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt, hope the Mrs is feeling better.

Rick, enjoy your hike today.

Larry, glad your happy with your new internet setup.

Tom, hope the yard work goes well.

Mike, hope the Dr's appointment goes well.

Karl, I have had used wall hanger's mud in the past with some success.  The biggest issue was cracking due to thick layers.  Multiple thin layers worked better.  (Just my 2c CDN worth)

Philip, enjoy the buffet.

Jerry, hope you make it to the bench.

Dave, great picture, the field visit and observations should serve you well.

Current temperature is -3c (27f) and overcast.  It was supposed to snow last night but that didn't materialize.  Checking in late today because I've been in conference calls all morning.  No modeling last night as I got distracted again but the goal is to get to the bench tonight.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 63F and headed to 81F later. MOH is feeling better and today is her birthday.

Later I have a haircut and beard trim scheduled and the birthday girl is getting her hair done also.

Next up on the build is a large set of exterior stairs. They always seem to be a struggle for me.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning,

I see Curt's around but I'll get us going anyway. The morning beverages are ready. Breakfast is Cheesy scrambled eggs, hash browns, and crispy bacon and/or pan sausages.

Curt wish the birthday girl a Happy Birthday for me. Good luck at the bench. Looks like Karl started something with his trip to the Barbers.

What's your plans for the day.

It's 27 with a high of 39; winters back. Received one inch of white crap over night; ugh! Have the usual Friday morning errands to run on this Friday the 13th. Haven't been at the bench the past few days but hope to make it there today; starting to feel like Jerry. Hopefully my SW order shows up today so I can continue on with Hank's.

Have an enjoyable day!! Be well, stay safe, and keep warm.

Morning Curt and Larry!

Thanks for the coffee~

Actually pretty warm here. We went to Walmart and picked up some gardening stuff yesterday and took the sick car by the auto repair shop. I take it in next Friday for the repair.

Have a great day!

Rick

Good morning everyone.

It's 64 now in Fort McDowell, very sunny and 88 later.
It's getting too hot here and need to find a cooler spot soon.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Happy Birthday! to your wife and glad she's feeling better.

Larry, thanks for the second cup and hope your order shows up today.

Philip, sorry about the car repair.  :(

Ron, good news on the wrong weather forecast.

Dave, funny picture.

Jerry, what's going on in NJ?

Karl, you're looking good all coifed and trimmed.
Sounds like good layout progress being made.

Mike, hope the doctors visit was all good news.

ACLTom, sounds like a busy day yesterday.

How's everyone else?

Star and I did a very nice 8.5 mile hike with 1,093' of EG on the Pass Mountain Trail.
Went to the gym afterward for a shower.
Then drove about 30 miles north to get close to the trail I'll hike tomorrow at Saguaro Lake.
Temps next week will be in the 90's here and even 100 on one day.
That's way too hot for me.
After tomorrow's hike I have to go to the post office to pick up some mail and then go to REI to get a new day bag and a few other things.
Heading towards Flagstaff afterward where it's about 30 degrees cooler.

This was from my hike at Flagstaff.

Yesterday was a loss, I took a nap instead of working on trains...  I should do better today, but will have to stop a bit early as we're going to a concert in Boston tonight.

Good morning,

Curt, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast.  Happy Birthday to the other half.

Larry, thanks for the snack.  Good luck at the bench.

Philip, hope you enjoy the warm weather.  Good luck with the car repair.

Rick, hope you find cooler weather.  The Flagstaff photo is fantastic.

Dave, enjoy the concert.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a bright morning at 38°F, headed to 69°F.  Lunch with our daughter should be fun.  Will try to get back upstairs.  I finished all the details but three figures, so I will try finishing them today.

Have fun,
mike

Good morning Curt, Larry, Philip, Rick, Dave, Mike and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt, glad the MOH is feeling better and you better spoil her today.  ;D

Larry, thanks for the second cup of coffee and breakfast.  Hope your SW order shows up.

Philip, enjoy your day.

Rick, great photo, as usual.  It's 21f here, want to trade?  ;D

Dave, some of those critters are pretty big.  Enjoy the concert tonight.

Mike, Have fun at lunch with your daughter.

Current weather here is -6c (21f) and cloudy with some white stuff expected this evening.  I did manage some time at the bench yesterday practicing weathering the corrugated roof panels so that they are partially weathered instead of having panels look like they are 100 years old.  The first couple of attempts were a disaster but later attempts look better.  I'm glad I experimented on scrap pieces instead of the actual roof.  I'll make that attempt later today when I make it to the bench.

Have a great day everyone.

I got to the bench yesterday to grain and stain wood for other wall.

Late morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt and Larry.

Not much going on here today. I've been working on the Horwood kit.

I'm waiting on the pool guy. I have a leaf blockage somewhere in the skimmer drain. Hope I have arms and legs when he leaves.

Have a great day everyone.
