Afternoon all,

Trying to get back in the swing/mood of modeling after the five day forced layoff.

Great photos today.

Karl, the one area I never got into was vice/drugs. My interest was more crime scene and homicides.

The photo (1981) below is of a transient who thought it would be funny to take a dump from 19 floors up on a bank building into an empty elevator shaft. The building was under construction. He fell and bounced off the walls on the way down. The next photo shows me holding his right arm which was detached from just above the elbow. I'm sure Dave the Moderator won't want me showing that one.

Hope all are having a great day.

Tom

Ok!!!
Morning all,

Scrambled eggs bacon, and pancake are on! Coffee and OJ also.

What's on your agenda this day?

I'm finishing up some figures I just purchased last week.

Philip

Rick

Good morning everyone.

Currently 54 in Scottsdale, mostly sunny and 75 later.
Clouds move in late in the afternoon and possible rain overnight.

Good morning Curt.
I see you're here too and I'll assume you're making voffee and breakfast.

ACLTom, that guy fell 19 floors and lived?  :o
Nice photo of a young Tom.

Bernd, why not start a thread yourself.

Dave, nice Sedona pics.

Karl, nice picture of you and look at that 'stash'.

Philip, good morning.

Mike, keep having fun with the details.

Ron, I thought all the passing was interesting, but the drivers have a steep learning curve on how to best drive the new cars.

Larry, thanks for the picture and I guess they are the latest collectable like beanie babies were.

Jerry, did you enjoy your day yesterday?

How's everyone else?

Costco was crowded but I was still able to get in and out rather quickly.
Up early again to do a hike.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Philip.

Rick, he didn't live or finish his business. It was squeezed between his checks.

I'm having the house alarm updated and upgraded today. I'll be in and out of the train shed until the work is complete.

I also finally finished my challenge build.

Have a great day all and stay safe.

German class today, although half of the people can't make it.  Then a run to the local coffee roaster and back home.  I'll finish the cows and do some work on the boxcar.  I drilled grabiron holes, but I'm not quite sure that went as well as I hoped.

Good Morning All,

Philip thanks for opening and breakfast. Lynyrd Skynyrd always a good choice.

Started out the day with a walk at 68F and slightly humid heading to the 80's again today. Yesterday I finished weathering the roofs and mounted the roof hardware. I'll take a photo later and post it on the thread.

I have a bunch of chores this morning including doing stuff with skunk item's in the van.

Rick gorgeous photo. It being in B&W really makes it pop. I was indeed in earlier but didn't have the mental energy to post...if that makes sense?

Tom sometimes you just have to give a helping hand! :o  ;D  ;) Interesting to see a younger you.

Dave one deployment we were supposed to do a port visit there but got switched to Singapore. That was around the time that the Chinese Communist took over.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning Philip, Rick, ACLTom, Dave, Curt and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Philip.

Rick, enjoy your hike today, glad you got out of Costco relativity unscathed.  ;D

Tom, hope the alarm upgrade goes smoothly.

Dave, Run to the coffee roaster, at least you have your priorities right.  ;D

Curt, will be looking forward to your latest update.

Current temperature is 7c (45f) with cloudy skies.  Supposed to hit 14c (58f), that should shrink the white pile considerably.

Watch the F1 race and it was interesting, as Rick mentioned the passing was interesting but battery management looks like it's going to be a big learning curve for some.  I also spent time working on the challenge build and got the corrugated steel roof on the yard roof and glued the wood shakes onto the perlins for the main building.

Have a great day everyone.

Naw, that's OK. Wouldn't know what section to start one in. Besides there are lot's of builds going on which is close to "what's on my workbench".

It was just a spur of the moment thought. I was looking down through the forum sections and wondered why  there are subjects in there that haven't been used at all. Waste of space in my opinion.

I could start a thread, Where IS my work bench... :o

Sun  8) here in MI this morning with a possibility of 60o later as we had yesterday. Another potential storm day tomorrow then cool off later in the week.

My SPARTANS kept up much of the game yesterday but couldn't get any breaks, worked hard but were off. 10 point loss was not fun. Decent game to watch.

Layout work today ? I'll see.

My son lives quite close to the tornado. He has a delivery service and said he had a regular customer in the red circle below594938091833080658.jpeg

Morning,

Philip I'll take another cup of java; too late for breakfast.

Karl that's horrible what the weather did to that area.

Tom nice photo; A younger you in blue.....who knew.

Sounds like the rest of you guys are doing well.

It's 59 with a supposed high of 70 for 3/9; I'll take it as I watch the sn*w go bye-bye. I've spent 2 days now trying to get into my SS account online but to no avail. Have a tax apt. @ 1300 so we'll see how that goes. Our internet keeps dropping so I'm going to get a new modem and router tomorrow am then hook that back up; a Tech will be here between noon and 1pm check the line signal and make sure I have the equipment hooked up properly; hopefully that will fix the issue. The present equipment is quite old and needs to be replaced.
Enough whining from me.

Have a great rest of your day!! Be well and stay safe.

Philip thanks for the breakfast & coffee.

Diane and I both had blood work early this am.
Then we got back home and the power went off!

So now we are back on line.
Weather here is sunny/61.  Later on 70.
I'm keeping this short because we have some things to do this morning.

Ron still working to get a picture before you.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Good morning folks,

Philip, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast. Have fun with the figures.

Rick, thanks for the photo.  Enjoy the hike.

Tom, congrats on the challenge completion.

Dave, sounds like the work at the bench is going well.

Curt, good luck with the 1:1 duties.

Ron, sounds like the roofing went well.

Bernd, good morning.

Karl, sad to see those photos.  Mother Nature can be mighty tough.

Larry, nice weather for a change.  Good luck with the Internet fix.

Jerry, hope the blood tests are okay.  It looks like nice weather there, too.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a foggy and hazy morning at 63°F, headed to 79°F.  This morning, I worked on webpages and flyers for an April Car and Bike show sponsored by the lodge.  Proceeds go to the Children's Home.  This afternoon I have an eye doc appointment with a lodge meeting tonight.  No modeling today, I fear.

Have fun,
mike
