Good morning Curt, Larry, Rick, Dave, ACLTom, Jerry, Mike, Philip, Karl and the rest of the crew that drops in Later.

Thanks for coffee and breakfast Curt, enjoy bachelorhood while it lasts and you can never go wrong with Pizza for supper.

Larry, you know, if you wait long enough the white stuff will magically disappear.  ;D

Rick, I did find star, but I had to really look for her.  I hope there is improvement during the break because right now it's a 2 horse race with one horse faster than the other.

Dave, Happy Birthday, remember 70 is still young.

Tom, glad bowling went well yesterday, hopefully the pool guy will not cancel.

Jerry, looking forward to the update.

Mike, enjoy your lunch date with Sharon.

Philip, enjoy your day.

Karl, that's a lot of snow.

Current temperate is -9c (16f) with blue skies, above freezing weather is supposed to start tomorrow.  Spent time last night at the bench staining wood for the third building of the challenge build.  This building is different from the other two building as the board and batten is applied to to a solid base, I don't think this building will have an interior like the first two, but you never know, I might modify it to add a partial interior.

Have a great day everyone.

One of the reasons Rick retired from NJ Transit.

This happened the other day through the window of the engineers cab!!!!
We had really high winds here!!
I believe he wasn't hurt.

Good morning everyone.

51 in Bellemont, mostly sunny and 81 later.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Omelets for breakfast today.
Every imaginable filling is available along with sides of sausage and/or bacon.

Jerry, great to catch up again with Diane and you.
Having things crash through the engineers window happens far to often.
I'll have to ask one of my RR friends where this happened.

Karl, I guess The Buck doesn't stop there.

Ron, hope the weather stays above freezing for a while.

Philip, hope the dental visit wasn't too bad.

Mike, I'm sure your lunch date with Sharon was very enjoyable.

ACLTom, congratulations on the good bowling outcome.

Dave, I saw the Chieftains at Carnegie Hall when they played Baba O'Reilly with Roger Daltrey and The Who.

Curt, hope dad's leg is doing better.

How's everyone else.

Nothing real exciting happened here yesterday.
Packing up and heading to another hike this morning.
Doctor texted back and just maybe the equipment he needs to do the procedure will arrive next week.
I'll believe it when I see it.

Sunset at Petrified Forest NP.

Good Morning All,

Rick thanks for opening and breakfast. Beautiful sunset. Fingers crossed for the equipment arrival.

Started out the day with a walk at 51F and heading to 72F today. Yesterday after chores I worked a couple of hours on the stairs and still have a couple of days to go on them.

Today after chores I'll head to the workbench. Pizza tonight. There was a foul up yesterday so we had BBQ instead.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning, Rick, Curt, Philip and later arrivals. The lower Merrimack Valley is 27F as the sun rises into partly cloudy skies. 37F forecast later.  Rick, I've driven through Bellemont quite a few times but not sure I ever took a picture there.  Map shows sidings for the National Guard camp.

Good Morning,

Rick thanks for the coffee and breakfast.Beautiful photo and gave an enjoyable safe hike. Hope the equipment shows up so you can get your situation solved.

Curt enjoy your time at the bench. BBQ is not a bad substitute for pizza especially if it'e really good BBQ.

Morning Philip and James.

What's going on in your world.

It's 33 with a high of 43 here so the sn*w will be melting once again. Hoping for some bench time this am then not sure what else is going on. The Easter decorations are looming on the horizon.

Have a great day!! Be well and stay safe.

Good morning folks,

Rick, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast. The photo is another WOW!

Curt, hope you make it to the bench.

Philip, howdy.

Jame, howdy.

Larry, good luck with the Easter decorations.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's 34F headed to 70F.  I think that is the last near-freezing temperature of the season.  Outdoor activities working for my wife are on the horizon.  First cataract surgery appointment is this morning.

Have fun,
mike

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Rick, nice sunset picture and I hope the doc gets the equipment as stated.

Karl, nice deer gathering.

Curt, hopefully the pizza is on for tonight.

Okay, here is my pool repair story. The pool guy arrived on time. He made a few tests and then told me what the problem was. First though, I don't have a break in the pipes. The pressure is good.  My pool filter has 29 filter pads. The pool water is filtered with diatomaceous earth powder. The powder covers the filter pads and filters the water. These pads are 30+ years old. I clean them every spring. However, the pool guy said they should be changed every 10 years. I've cleaned them but never replace them. Didn't know I needed to.

Anyway, he'll replace them on Monday and it will be much less than I expected. Total cost will be less than $700. With a pipe rupture, I was looking at a couple grand minimum.

Time to edge and cut the grass.

Have a safe, happy and hobby filled day everyone.

The trip to Boston yesterday went OK.  Wife is a candidate for the back surgery, but it's A Big Deal.  First, more tests.

Good morning Rick, Curt, Philip, James, Larry, Mike, ACLTom, Dave, and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick, hope the medical equipment arrives next week.

Curt, BBQ is almost or equal to pizza.

Philip, good morning and have a great day.

James, nice picture.

Larry, hope you make it to the bench today.

Mike, good luck with the cataract appointment.

Tom, glad to hear that the pool repair was a maintenance issue instead of a busted underground pipe.

Dave, your wife will feel a lot better after the back surgery, that's great news.

Current weather is -2c (28f) and overcast.  Supposed to hit 4c (39f), should help getting rid of the white stuff.  At the bench last night I decided to figure out how to  put the building together by reading through the instructions, and believe it or not they were helpful.  The walls are planked on both sides of the laser cut wall blanks.  The instructions suggested that both sides of the blanks to be painted flat black, so I used a rattle can to paint both sides of the blanks.  Spent the rest of the evening painting detail parts.

Have a great day everyone.
