The 10th structure in the top row of Franklin is George's effort to prove that you can always add one more structure to your layout - until I can find the name of this building in will be named the "Just had had to add one more" building.

The 11th structure in the top row of Franklin is The M. H. Vanderlip Laundering Company.

John,

The structures look great but a great many of the photos are grainy and the detail really can't be viewed in all clarity. Any way to "sharpen" the images?

I copied and worked with a couple but couldn't make them any more clear.

I just went back and looked at a few of the photographs from posts last night on my PC. - I'm amazed at how much better they look with my retina display on my Apple.  I will be deleting a number of pictures from this thread.  Digital zooms just are not working out in the PC world.

Between the M. H. Vanderlip Laundering Company and The J. Winkie  Company George added a covered walkway over the road.  If you look closely you can see a very affective utilization of a mirror.

The 12th major structure along the top of the hill in Franklin is The J. Winkie Company.

Yes he does - and it is amazing how much you miss until your really study the layout.

Don't delete any of the slightly fuzzy pics, they're still pretty to look at.  I'm really enjoying this thread.  Thanks for doing it.

Jeff

I'm going to leave the ones that show the structures at a slightly different angle until I find or take better ones.  I'm also hoping that others will add some pictures to fill the holes ;) .  I have a lot more pictures to sort through for Franklin alone so maybe we will get lucky.

I will be deleting and changing pictures in the Franklin section of this thread over the next few weeks, so remember to keep looking back.  I'm learning about how far I can go with digital zoom - I'm also off to the Apple store today to look into a possible better way to do the computer work.

John, I'm with the smart Jeff...leave all the pics, even the fuzzy stuff is fine to look at....wish I could add some pics, but during my 2 visits to the F&SM pictures were not allowed.....we're hoping to make another trip so I can get some pics of my own......

I will take yours and Jeff's advice and post a few fuzzy pictures if that is all I have. I was using long exposure times with the camera setting I was using to get good depth of field, and in a few areas of the layout it did result in some fuzzy pictures - especially when I try to zoom in digitally to isolate on a specific structure in a wider angle photograph.  Such is life - and it gives me a great reason to go back and take some more pictures. Every day that I wait to make the trip means George will be changing something.
