As we work our way down this side of the street, there are several structures that I do not have pictures of.  Can anyone help here?  If not, it will give me an area to concentrate on next time I visit the F&SM. One think this project has done is point out all the pictures I wish I would have got - and what I want to get next time I visit.

Holy Sh!t what a shot.  Amazing.  In complete awe.
Thanks for these photos of the railroad modelers mecca.

The amazing thing is that George only works on the layout for 3 - 4 months most years. The rest of his time is spent on his FSM kit business.  He must work fast!

Here are a few more Franklin Structures before we move on down the main line.  First Franklin Pipe Company.

At this point we are going to move on down the mainline past Rocky Point.  I will return to Franklin with more detailed structure pictures when I get a chance to go back to the F&SM and take more pictures.  Please add any pictures that you have to help fill in the structures I missed.

As we pass Rocky Point we come to a mountainous area and then George's famous street car. This area has changed many times over the years so these pictures represent the 2013 scene.

Here is a closer look at George's Rock and scenery work in this area.

I'm in awe of his rock work!!
I've used real rocks to make molds, but nothing that even came close to this!

John,

I have the Hiram Brothers Meat kit. I think it's only 1 of a few. If you get the time ask George if he let anyone copy this kit. Or did he get his from someone. I'm just curious. I'll take pictures of the kit if needed.

I was not aware of a Hiram Brothers kit.  Can you post pictures? I will ask George the next time I talk to him.

John,

Yes, I'll be happy to. Let me get the photos, upload, crop and list. Back in a few or so! I've started on it but it is certainly one of a kind.
