I had a nice talk with John Sullivan at the EXPO and he gave me permission to use his photographs from the Gallery in each of the structure sections on this thread. This will add a few more views to some of the structures.  I will be going back and adding the pictures as time permits.  Thanks for helping out on this thread John.

As we go under the covered bridge we come to the area known as Mayfield.  One of the first structures in the background is the Church.

Another landmark structure in Mayfield is McClosky's Market.

Regarding figures.......... there appears to be a mix.  I recognize some WS figures but most others are unknown to me. Perhaps they have been warmed up and moved around a bit.

Regarding the church....... it sure looks like the Campbell to me.

Did you ever notice how many towns are named after their water towers ! ?

You will find figures from almost every manufacturer on the F&SM - I will ask George if he has a favorite.

Yes it is - I have the same model built that will find it's way onto my layout.

I guess what I mean is, the figures look as good as Preiser, so I am wondering if there was a company that is no longer in business that were used.

Last night I discovered that I had approximately 500 more photographs that I took with my iPhone that I hadn't looked at since our last visit to the F&SM. I had a directory named iPhone with a subdirectory named iPhone - all this time I thought it was a duplicate.  It turns out that I filled my iPhone and let the pictures download to the cloud while I was taking pictures with my SLR - then filled it again at the end of the day - more great closeups of structures. I will be adding the pictures to the posts I have already made so you will see some new photographs popping up in the old posts.

I also arranged all of my photographs so we can continue the journey from the Franklin side of the layout all the way to Filmore.  I will keeping the theme of covering the structures in each area individually. The Journey continues.................

As would I.  George's layout is an inspiration to us all.
