As always, your builds are full of real time solutions. It has always been
a joy to follow your threads. I looked a few pages back and saw cutting, fitting,
odd angles, all of which required engineering, and you accomplished each one perfectly.

I thank you sir for the very generous and kind compliment on this build. It seems like every kit or build requires some form of adjustments in cuts and angles.

I was finally able to get back to this one. Although I have to admit the break was nice for a change.

After adding all the top plates, I sprayed all three structures (not shown) with the Tamiya Insignia White. This was necessary to cover the yellow hue of the Durham's Water Putty stucco.

These three will be put aside for now while I build some sub assemblies.

I need to build four sky lights.



I'll also need to build the Goodyear billboard sign.



The billboard sign brackets are very fragile. They seems to say, "Don't look at me, I'll break"

Well, I must have looked as one did in fact break when I picked it up.

I'll make this repair using an HO scale 1X4.

I applied the first coat of Tamiya Lacquer Yellow to the Goodyear sign. The lacquer is very thin and the first coat soaked into the wood. It will take a second coat. I'll add the second coat once this dries and cures.



I also painted the billboard frame with Tamiya Lacquer Flat Blue. I'll finish the billboard brackets tomorrow.

I see you had a typical "another problem, another solution" with the sign.  I'm pretty sure that once the repair is done, you would never know it was broken.  with the colours you have chosen, the sign will look great when completed.
