62 in Conifer, sun and clouds and a high of 84 later.
Had a thunderstorm roll through yesterday afternoon and there's a chance of rain in the PM again today.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Crispy bacon, egg and cheddar on a NJ hard roll for breakfast today.

Jerry, there's no trying, only doing.

Larry, any more chores today?

Karl, have fun with the plans The Doll has for this weekend.

Jim, have fun on your trip to TN and good luck with the judging.

How's the rest of the crew today?

Not much happened here yesterday.
Just took it easy.
Today I'm heading to Boulder and I'll treat myself to a lunch there.
Afterward I'll start making my way to Rocky Mountain NP.

Thanks for breakfast Rick. Congrats on the hike with Star. You have reached new heights in your hiking. 

Curt, Pam will call you after she gets me home and in bed.

I'm spending the day with Pam. She is getting her hair done and then will go to the antique mall. She will look at everything and I'll look at some paper money. One of my hobbies is collecting paper money, bank notes and silver certificates. I'll post a picture here on one of the bills later this morning.

1917  $1 large note. In 1929 the Treasury went to the smaller size bills. The bill is in a plastic sleeve to protect it and keep finger prints off the bill. This One Dollar bill is uncirculated.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. Great photo of both of you. I have looked several times and don't see another dog.

Started out the day with a walk at 78F and moderate humidity. Dad VA visit went well and was routine.

Probably no modeling until next weekend. We have some major work on the house starting Tuesday and is scheduled to end some time Thursday but it requires unloading the pantry, fridge and freezer. We're going to live with daughter during this period, of course this means all the animals have to come with us.

Speaking of animals, one of the rescues is going to his forever home today.

It's another overcast day.  Yesterday I put the final bits together on the Model T.  Today I do a little bit of light weathering and call it done. I still don't know what's next.

A perfect weekend weather-wise in SE NH.  Scotch Club scheduled for 4:00 this afternoon, we'll do a survey of the 6 Scotch regions.  

Yesterday I finally built up some steam to plant a couple more trees & shrubs.  Today, I hope to extend that scenery work.  

The big challenge has been getting one of my dogs to eat (and to keep the other from stealing her uneaten food...)  For a while, she wanted wet cat food, but now it seems she wants dry kibble.  I don't know what's going on in her little canine mind.

Hello everyone. 63f degrees now and 81 is the guess for later. Again though So Central Wisconsin has almost no chance of the needed rain!

It is quiet on the home front as the daughter's family is up in Door County, Wi. We are somewhat isolated where we are some 1100' from the their house with a nice grove of trees in between. The house the SIL says is 1500'+ from the county road to civilization, so while we occasionally hear road traffic we don't see it. One of the very few things I miss from the last place was the people watching from the front porch. Mainly the dog walkers and the outfits they wore depending on the time of day.

I formed 15 wire birch trees between 6 and 7.5" tall yesterday. Formed the armatures into something that I hope will look like a birch. Today I shape the wire into 8 birch 8-9" tall and 7 birch around 5-6" tall and finish up with at least 2 dead birch trees using whatever scrap wire I have from shaping these 30 trees. My order from Amazon is supposed to arrive today with more florist wire, 18, 22 and 26 gauge. A 32 fl.oz. tub of Golden Light molding paste (tree bark), a pack of throw away 1/2" flat brushes and a new sonic cutter! The cutter is to replace the POS cutter I purchased in May and the return finally was granted a couple weeks ago. I returned the Phrozen brand one

I have a Hanboost cutter coming. 2 of my friends have this brand and model and I have used them. I read the Phrozen was even better but I had issues with it. Mainly not holding the blade

The granddog and I were outside in the afternoon from 1 to 4:30. He has a 2 acre space with the electric invisible fence with a collar to roam in. I parked an umbrella ☂️ a couple patio chairs and table under the trees for shade. The umbrella is overhead protection from falling bits of trees that I think the squirrels were tossing at me. Depending on the wind I may try the pool.

Top of the world is a great phrase. Rick glad you and Starr had a good hike. 3 of 4 peaks is a great trip! But both you and Star looked tired in your picture posted on your FB page. Smart to not try for #4

Morning all, Had a small shingle that popped loose after the storm. Got up there in the cool first light and fixed that. Chainsaws are buzzing in the neighborhood this am with drizzling rain. Mowed and trimmed all day yesterday.

We have four of the grandkids here.
One is with his girlfriend.
They all left for the beach and hour ago.

Speaking of shingles my neighbor across street has them for real poor guy!!!!!

Jerry, I'm starting to think you are ignoring the shingles on purpose.    Enjoy the day with the grandkids. 

Current temperature here is 22c (72f) and partly cloudy, no rain in the forecast.  Yesterday didn't go as planned but I did make progress on the turntable build.  Today's intenary has a couple of errands in it along with laundry.  I should make it back to the bench to get some more work done on the turntable.

Mornin' all.  A nice pleasant day on hand here in MI.  It's going to get a little bit hot and tomorrow even more so.  We need rain, none in sight, tomorrow the heat may kick up a popup cloud or two but doubt anything serious.  Grand Rapids is said to be 3" plus behind averages.

2 members of the "Geek Squad" have had b'days this week so they are coming this afternoon.  16/7 yr old has a terrible time staying awake when they are here.  Digital addiction's poster child  parental facilitators.  He stays up gaming at all hours with no responsibilities.   Daddy Geek thinks his "little bear" is never going to grow up.  Will keep him sequestered for life if he has his way.  Already has him afraid to drive, never leaves home save for school. 

Still trying to find a time slot for dull coat on the newly re-marked diesel.  It also needs a couple sound adjustments and KDs.  MAYbe a little light grunge as well. 

Interesting dunes photo, Rick, walking on sand really be a challenge.

ACLTom, we're big into antiques here, too.  Besides caretaking this old antique the Doll had a large booth in the Antique Mall she once brought back from near death after the owner passed away suddenly.  She managed it for 5-6 years.  BTW it's Christmas in July there this weekend.  I've never seen a bill like you showed, interesting.
