Morning all.

Rained all night and looks like it will continue on and off all day with a high in the 60s.    At least I won't have to mow.

Appointment with ortho later, hopefully he'll lift my restriction of walking less than a block, I need to start walking to build up endurance as the Oshkosh Air Show is two months away.  Last year, I think our first day was about 7 to 8 miles and standing for 8 plus hours.

Oh I'm going to need to mow today. As has been typical in NW PA this spring, two nice days followed by at least 5 days of rain/showers.

It's a beautiful day in Tidewater Virginia, with temps topping out in the low 70's.  This morning it's grass cutting and a walk.  This afternoon I need to sit down and do some design work for the second half of the brewery on my switching layout.

Good Morning Folks;

Summer arrived in Florida last week, hot and dry at the moment. High of 93 expected. Our pool is in, finished and getting used! I need to get my passport updated today and get the dogs groomed, other then that the day is mine. Have a great day!

It's still definitely spring here in SE NH.  High today of 57, cloudy and chilly.  Thursday it might not even reach 50.  We won't see 70 until mid-week next week.  I AM NOT COMPLAINING.

In a bit, I'll go back and do the last wall of studs on Winchendon, then do the window sill and header pieces.  I'll double-check window fit, and then my plan is to lock in all those wood pieces with thin CA.  When that's done, I'll spraypaint the 4 wall interiors with white (spray, to prevent warping.)  I'm also continuing my research on 19th century machine tools, and I might try to bash/scratchbuilt a couple of tools that would be appropriate to have in my 'oilfield machine shop'.

450 feels like 320 with 15 mph gusts to 25 mph. 100% rain starting shortly back to winter here. :P

Medical appointments top the day.

Trains? What's that?  :-\

Oh darn, I need to get a loan to pay off all those tolls I've been skipping  :P

Mornin' All!

52, headed for 59 and the grey blanket is thickening here in the northern mitten.  The WWs are advertising rain tonight and tomorrow, but at least it's wet and not WGFA. Medical stuff today, then track cleaning and re-staging for the op session tomorrow night.

Make it a great day, All, and stay safe!

Late morning all,

Just got back from the hobby shop. Got a gallon of matte medium for scenery.

I'm in the train shed the rest of this hot, humid fine day. High today of 96, no rain or seabreeze!

Have a great day ya'll.

Good morning! I stopped in to see what everyone was up to. I had to take the Jeep in for an oil change and I'm checking out all the new posts while I'm waiting for the Jeep.

Afternoon all,

I left for my walk around 6:45am and it was already 77 degrees outside.  I was drenched by the time I finished.  I only do 2.5 miles.  It sounds like Jeff's airshow would kill me.  I'm hoping to be able to keep up with the tour groups next month when we're on our cruise.

Think I'll pop in an old western, High Plains Drifter, and hit the workbench.

Have a great one!
