Tom,
I am a huge fan of Cliff's modeling.  Thanks for taking the time to share more photos of his wonderful layout.  The engine house interior is stunning, and the exterior is just as good!!

Jerry,

Thank you for stopping by. I'm gald you are enjoying the pictures. I must tell you that my pictures really don't do Cliff's fine modeling justice.

Here are a few more pictures of the large gray structure. It is scratch built/kit bashed and the lettering was done by Cliff in decal form.

Here is the overpass to the left of the structure.

And back to the structure.

I love this carlot. A simple scene yet very very effective on the layout! Did I mention very well done?

The next photo pretty much sums up the name of the business.

Very nice scene - great modeling - it's all about the details. Thanks again Tom for sharing this with us.

;D I'm just proud of Cliff for puttin' the Ledbetters in there pushin' their car!!
(Disclosure - they bought the cheapest car on the lot and ignored the oil pool under it!!)
Or maybe that's their car that they're wantin' to trade in!!  ;D ;D ;D

Gman,

Thanks for stopping by. However, I think you have it all wrong. I'm quite confident the Ledbetters are the owners of the carlot. They are the ones who sold the car to the honest people pushing the vehicle into the lot. Ya just can't trust dem L'betters.

The used car lot is a great scene, the Ledbettters are "the rest of the story".

The name for the car dealer makes me think of a company here in Boise called Fairly Reliable Bob's

The guy has been out there for nearly 40 years............ unbelievable

No relation to me.

Bob,

Well, I guess he's been fairly reliable for the past 40 years to stay open that long.

Here are a few more photos from my visit to The Magnolia Route.

I like this next scene. Goes to say the every space doesn't need a structure of four walls.
