This next photo shows a broken tree. It was 3.5" from the layout edge and still got broken.

Here is the after scenery redo in the area south of the two bridges.

I mentioned earlier that I try to stay away from gray, olive or bluish tint scenery. Here is the one tree on the layout that I made with a bluish leaf tint. I cleaned it and it still looks dusty.

I weathered the concrete roadway but it doesn't show in the photo. This area was put back together. I need to get more  plexiglass to protect this area. No visitors will be here until the next open house on October 4th of this year.

I'm spending the day with Pam tomorrow so no updates until probably Sunday or Monday afternoon.

Done for today.

Tom, seeing the results of you revitalizing is great, but just seeing pictures of the layout is a pleasure to see.

What a huge difference between the before and after.  And like Rick said it's nice seeing pictures of the layout.

Mike, Howdy,

Thank you for the kind comment. Yes, dusty, but it does look much better with fresh scenery.

Ron,

Thank you also for the compliment. You, Rick and Curt have seen it in person so you can get a reference to the layout from the photos.
