The yard is really coming together now Tom.  The jog in the steam pipes really adds a lot of character to the scene.

Hello Tom, it's nice to see your layout tour post active again. You are doing your usual great job with your engine service facilities area. The roundhouse area ready tracks with the steam pipes brings back memories of pictures of John Allen's wonderful layout.

Thank you for the comment. John Allen's G&D is my inspiration for this area. I loved how he did the outside of his layout in the engine terminal area.

I thank you and I agree. It sure improves the roundhouse area. I have tons of details to add which will make it even better. Now, when to find the time to add them.

Some may have noticed the turntable in previous pictures. I used pastel chalks to weather the pit and sides. More weathering will be added later, like spilled ballast, cinders, dirt and other junk.

The small office is one Reading Bob gifted me some 14 years ago.
