It's marker madness in FL.  ;D
All the lights add another level of realism to the layout.

This isn't my next project but I'll share it anyway. We all have our own idiosyncrasies, well this is mine. You can call it my "Wilson" from the movie Outcast.

I've had this Ace Hardware bag for desk top trash for the past 35 years. I've repaired it twice and fished it out of the "real trash" once.

Speaking of memorable trash cans:  Almost 45 years ago when I was on active duty, my organization was located in what was originally the WWII era wooden base bowling alley structure.  It was across the street from the much newer Post HQ building. When I was there, it was a cubicle farm.  One day that building caught fire and burned to the ground in something like an hour.  (Our computer tapes were in a 30 minute fire safe.  But that didn't survive a 1 hour fire...  I walked in the next day with my personal copy of those backups.)  Anyway, somehow I ended up with a GI small trash can from one of the groups in that building.

Tom,

Probably about 10 years ago I was up in VA helping my brother with his wife that was having significant medical issues that she later passed from. I was in their basement and found a dented potato chip can with 2 pictures of a K4 pulling a passenger train. I brought it home and it has been the train room trashcan since.
