Good morning everyone.

Cape Meares weather: A 20 percent chance of showers after 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 57.

TomO, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Hope the weather doesn't cause any harm and damage.

Larry, thanks for the second cup.
Glad your reflexes were still good to avoid that truck.

Ron, glad you made it back to FL. late but safe.

Curt, glad Kathy and you are starting to feel better.
Hope nothing else breaks.

Mike, have fun applying the NBW's.

Greg, hope your day goes well.

Dave, hope your wife's ribs heal quickly and she's not in much pain.

Jerry, I guess the fire in the pines is out.

Karl, hope today is warmer for you.

Philip, any layout news?

ACLTom, what's new?

Star and I did a nice 3.65 mile hike with 896' of EG.
Part of the trail down to the beach was closed because a large tree fell and tore up the trail and left a lot of debris on the trail.
We did the trail anyway and climbed over all the obstacles.
A bit risky but the view at the beach made it worthwhile.
The other parts of the trail led to a lighthouse, overlook views of the ocean and the Octopus Tree.
Today heading inland some to go to a gym.

This was the view from camp near sunset and the clouds parted briefly.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast and the frosty cold soda Tom.

We had Emee at the vet this morning to get her nails trimmed. I mailed a package at UPS, stopped and got a half dozen Dunkins and got stamps at USPS and now I'm ready for an early nap.  8) No, that will only cut into my train shed time.

Speaking of cutting, I got the grass edged and cut and it looks great. I wish all my neighbors took care of their grass as I do.

Good to hear Kathy is doing better.

The SBG needs to get Ron down here one Saturday morning. We can make him an honorary member.

Workbench is calling, have a safe and happy day everyone.

Good morning everyone.

Otis, OR weather: Rain likely before 11am, then a slight chance of showers between 11am and 1pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 58.

Coffee, sodas, and OJ are ready.
Basic two eggs any way you'd like them, sides of crispy bacon and sausage and roasted potatoes for breakfast.

Ron, hope you get to go meet the SBG gang soon.

Karl, hope you got those chores done so you might have time to work on the layout.

ACLTom, hope good progress was made at the bench.

Jerry, all the flowers planted?

Philip, hope there's more sunshine today.

Curt, hope you and Kathy are feeling even better today.

Larry, Mike, Greg, TomO and anyone else looking in, hope you are all well.

Other than going to the gym not much happened yesterday.
Today I have a hike planned along the coast.
Star won't be able to join me.  :-\
Dogs aren't allowed on this trail.
Hoping the rain goes away.

A short video of my view at the campsite I was at this weekend. (Star makes a brief appearance): https://youtube.com/shorts/L-TLRr8AG2g

Have a great day everyone.
