Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Rick.

Nothing special on my agenda today. Pam and I go bowling. This is the last day and payout as well. We won't bowl, just go and get our money and then go to lunch.

Yesterday was a waste as I got nothing in the train shed done.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick.

This morning dad came out from his room sick. He tested positive for Covid. I figured it was only a matter ot time. Since this is day one for him he has a doc in the box appointment in an hour to get antiviral meds. They worked for him the last time he had it. Kathy and I can function but still not great. I figure we have another week of crap to go through.

We all have had the latest covid and flu vaccines.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Not much else going on here.

Good Morning,

Curt hope you and yours feel better soon.

Been a busy morning getting things going for summer. Yesterday the snowblower was serviced and put away. Then the hand mower was gone over and started for awhile. Unfortunately the tractor wouldn't start so it was off to NAPA for a new battery. Of course they were out but he ordered me a new one which I picked up this morning. Hooked it up and it started as soon as I turned the key; went over that as well along with charging the battery for the weed trimmer. So I guess I'm ready for the mowing season.

It's clouding up outside and we're supposed to get a storm later in the day; hopefully we keep power. It's now at 69 with a high of 82 in New York. Not sure about the rest of the day and I haven't been at the bench in a few days myself; hopefully soon now that I bought new glue since the old stuff was getting too thick to use.

Have an enjoyable day!! Be well, safe hiking, and stay safe.

Good morning Rick, ACLTom, Mike, Karl, Jerry, Philip, Curt, Larry and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast this morning Rick, enjoy your hike today.

Tom, looking forward to seeing the dates.

Presently 78 and cloudy here.  No modeling last night as I went to bed early, needed to catch up on my sleep.  Tonight I'll be watching the hockey game, hopefully Montreal will win and prolong the series.  At this games these are all bonus games as Montreal wasn't supposed to make the playoffs according to the experts.

Have a great day everyone.

Rick

Good morning everyone.
I'm surprised I'm the first one here.
I sense things are slowing down here.
Maybe with the warmer temps outdoors calling?

Otis weather: Sunny, with a high near 59.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Omelet station is set up and let your imagination run wild with things to stuff it with.

Greg, that sounds like a good day and hope you have another today.

Ron, how'd your team do?

Larry, hope the storm wasn't an issue and the lights stayed on.

Curt, hope dad is feeling better and the same to you and Kathy.

ACLTom, maybe some modeling supplies with all that bowling payout?

Philip, how are ya?

Karl, more work today?

Jerry, any details get painted?

TomO, Mike, Dave Dale, Terry and anyone else looking in, what's new?

The morning was a washout with some rain and gray overcast skies.
Then after lunch the sun came out and chased the gloom away.
That's when I did my hike.
Star had to stay in the van because dogs aren't allowed on the trail.

Here's a view from the hike.
If you look towards the lower right you'll see a herd of elk.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Rick. That looks like a scenic hike. Poor Star.

Dad was referred to the ER yesterday, so after that I sat in CVS for his meds for an hour. Breathing through a mask for hours yesterday did me no favors. DAD seems to be doing better but Kathy and I are still coughing most the night which destroys meaningful sleep.

Nothing else scheduled for the foreseeable future. I've told Dad to reschedule all his medicals appointments for the next 2 weeks.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Jerry, congrats on the flower planting.  Hope you make it to the bench.

Karl, are you getting any of these storms?

How goes the rest of the crew?

It's another hazy morning at 62F, headed to 82F.  I have a dental appointment at noon, then upstairs maybe.

Have fun,

Morning everyone

Rick thanks for the coffee & breakfast.
Nice picture to start the day.

Curt hope you and Kathy feel better today. And your Dad.

Mike have fun at the dental appointment I hope it's just a checkup!

Weather in South Jersey M. sunny/71.  Later on 77.
Well I think we are done with the Spring planting now just to keep the weeds out of the pots.
Hopefully some time will be spent at the bench  in the coming days!!
I did a few details yesterday so that is something.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Sun  :o and mid 30s to start the day, going to approach 60 today and rain later.  No storms this week, yet, Mike.

I did some track work and backdrop work on the new section of the layout yesterday.  A good chance today, as well, I'll see. :D

Best to all on sick call.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Rick.

Our bowling payout was a little over $450.00 total. We put that in our "mad money" account. I'm sure Pam will find something to be mad about!  ;D ;D

I've decided to take a break from modeling and get some real work done in the train room. If I continue to build models I won't get the work done. I need to declutter the top of the layout. I'll do a few before and after photos when finished.

I'll continue to check in daily.

Have a great, safe and happy day everyone.

Good morning Rick, Curt, Mike, Jerry, Karl, ACLTom, and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick.  That is a great view from your hike.  Maybe you should register Star as a support animal, so she can go on those hikes with you. ;D

Curt, hope you and Kathy feel better soon.

Mike, Hope the dental appointment is just a routine check-up.

Jerry, hope you make it to the bench and have time to post your progress, I have given up holding my breath as I was turning dark blue. ;D

Karl, sounds like you are making great progress on the layout.

ACLTom, congrats on your bowling winnings.

It's currently 74 and cloudy here.  Made a mistake on when the Habs are playing as the game is tonight, not last night as I had thought.  Guess what I'm doing tonight.  8)

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning,

Curt I certainly hope you and yours get feeling better soon.

Rough night overall. A bad storm went through about 5:30 pm yesterday and knocked out our power.
Tons of outages in the area so our restoration time was 3:30 this afternoon. Thankfully it came back
on @ 10:30 am this morning. Only slept about 3 hours last night so maybe a nap this afternoon. I did manage
to finally get to the bench this morning for awhile while the power was still off. Well that's my tale.

Have a great day!!!

Howdy back this afternoon! It was a Kroger morning with Gena, beating the Derby rush.

Sorry about the family Covid Curt! No fun.

I'm like Tom except I didn't win any moolah. Diverting energy into straightening up all the messes I made over the winter. The basement is a disaster!

Larry we have dodged several storms this spring. Glad it wasn't worst in NY.

Some of the modeling agenda still stands. Planning on installing the juke joint and the sound decoder in the On30 Camelback. Oh and LED's eveywhere...

Bring that thread on! The only ones posting are Larry and Mike.

You too Karl!
