Lost my message! Try again. Good morning Crew!

We might hit 52 today after being promised high 60's this past week.

Curt. I sympathize with you trying to get your wife to the ER. Terry sure can push me to the ER or Urgent Care but when she should go it falls upon deaf ears!

Karl. Were you in any of Joe Fugate's pictures when he was at Andy's a few weeks ago?

2 soccer games today for the grandson at 2 and 6.

The NFL draft. I watched maybe 10 minutes Thursday and nothing since. The crowds in Green Bay were pretty impressive.

Enjoy your day
TomO

Philip

Good morning all.

Hope your get to feeling better Curt & wife!

Good day guys!

Rick

Good morning everyone.

Tillamook weather: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 55.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Hope you and Kathy feel much better soon.

Philip, good day to you.

TomO, good luck to the grandson's games today.

Larry, hope taking the decorations down goes well.

Karl, maybe it will warm up later.

Ron, safe travels and I'm sure you've brought along a good book and some magazines.

ACLTom, glad you had a great time with Pam and at dinner.

Karl, good looking bug.
Reminds me of my dad's car that I learned to drive on.

Dale, Jerry, Dave, Greg and anyone else looking in, hope you are all well.

Gray and overcast all day and some drizzle in morning kept me mostly inside yesterday.
Found a spot to spend the night with a pretty nice view.
Unfortunately it rained gray and overcast at sunset so no pictures.
Maybe today.

My current view.

Well, Rick, about the same view, but without the ocean, here.  Cool and cloudy, occasional drizzle or rain showers.  I see the deciduous trees are a bit further along than here in SE NH.  But it's the time of year where you'll see big differences in a 50 mile drive...

After my wife fell, I pushed (verbally) her to go to an Urgent Care place for x-rays.  The x-rays didn't show any break, so it could have been a crack or just a bad bruise.  She's feeling better.  But particularly with ribs, there's not much they can do, so this experience reinforced her feeling "doctors are just a racket.  You sit, wait, and eventually they say 'there's nothing we can do.'  "

Just noticed on the Amtrak tracker  https://asm.transitdocs.com/   that this morning's MIA-CHI #40 the Floridian was running 6 hours late and as of this writing, 3:05 pm Eastern, still had not arrived in Chicago.  Hope today's train you will meet isn't as shy of scheduled time.  Currently the tracker shows today's #40 is behind in S. Fla but the tracker program estimates On Time for Orlando @ 6:50 pm.  I hope that works out.

Good morning. The group I walk with at 6 every morning but Sunday decided about 6:25 to cut it short due to the 35+ mph winds. We are in a warning for something I've never heard of before. A Severe #3 or 4 rated storm starting sometime this morning. I checked radar a few minutes ago and it looks like it's tracking 100 miles north of us.

Breakfast! The sodas are frosty cold, milk, teas and juices are in the cooler. Hot tea and oil tender's blend of coffee is ready in the silver urn. The food is waffles with real and fake syrup both from Wisconsin. The meats are smoked ham and a mildly spicy sausage patty. The breads are a dark rye and a thick sourdough

My grass is flourishing. It was cut Thursday last week and could use it again. Unfortunately I have been stopped by my doctor. I'll remind the grandson when he gets in after school. I warned him this might happen as while I am not a lawn fanatic I like it neat.

Enjoy the day

Good Morning,

The morning beverages are set to go. Breakfast is cheesy eggs, home fries, and sides of crispy bacon and/or pan sausages.

Tom O. take it easy and let the youngster do the yard work. Thanks for the coffee and breakfast #1.

What your plans for the day.

It's a sunny 43 with a high of 72 in New York. A few errands to run shortly then some 1:1 things to take care of. Not sure about the bench today; may get outside this afternoon.

Have an enjoyable day!! Be well and stay safe.

Good morning folks,

TomO, thanks for opening and breakfast.  Good luck with the grass.

Larry, thanks for the supplemental breakfast.  Good luck out and about.

Karl, I've never been on an AMTRAK train that was on time...missed a plane because of it.

Dave, get well wishes to your wife.

Gregory, hope your day was relaxing and fun.

Jerry, good luck with the siding.  I'm looking forward to the new thread.

Rick, hope the weather improves.

Philip, what's new on your bench?

Ron, hope you made it back with no delays.

TomACL, I bet the lawn smells good this morning.

Curt, wishing you and Mrs. healing.  That stuff sounds horrible.

How is the rest of the gang?

Yesterday I finished both sides of the bridge except for the NBWs.  They are on today's agenda.

Have fun,
mike

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast TomO. Kathy sounds the same as Terry.

Larry thanks for breakfast #2.

Woke up this morning feeling halfway decent. Coughing only woke me up once last night. I feel better but still have a ways to go. Kathy is napping but I have noticed her Coughing is way down from yesterday.

Well fingers crossed stuff will quit breaking around here. It was the dishwasher before the cruise, then yesterday the pool pump quit working and needs replaced, and this morning the coffee pot quit working.

Washing my laundry and have about double the amount I normally do.

Coffee, I need coffee.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning TomO, Larry, Mike, Curt and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfasts Tom and Larry.

Tom, no need to cut the grass at home, yet, but have a feeling it will need to be cut very soon, at least the grandson can do it for me seeing as I'm not there.  ;D

Larry, hope you get the 1:1 stuff done quickly and you make it to the bench.

Mike, Hope you get the NBW's installed in the bridge.

Curt, glad to hear that you and Kathy are starting to feel better.

Karl, well Amtrak didn't make up for lost time yesterday as the train finally arrived in Orlando 1-1/2 hrs late, which means I didn't to Jacksonville till 11:15PM.  While I love traveling by train the lateness adds to much waiting time between transportation modes.

It's currently 75F and slightly cloudy here in Northern Florida.  Very little modeling happ0ened last week when I was home as the honey-do list was extensive.  The good news is I got it all done, now the Mrs can start a new one for the next time I go home.  Tonight's plan is to get groceries, do laundry and catch up on sleep.

Have a great day everyone.
