Good evening. The hockey game just ended with Canada coming out on top. Good for them. I cannot believe how such a possible great game became a pawn for politics!

Jerry thanks for the fire and the open bar. Something new to me is a night cap tequila. AsomBroso Eros Reposado Tequila. My brother really likes tequila but to me they always just seemed to be a burning liquid going down. No matter the brand. I couldn't tell the cheap from the expensive stuff, they all had that strong burning sensation. It was tradition before Packer games while tailgating the last drink was a group drink. It was always some Tequila and most were terrible. Not my idea of a fun way to end a tailgate 30 minutes before kickoff. One of the bottles he gifted me years ago is the AsomBroso Eros that I sort of actually like. He gifted it not because I'd like the taste but for the bottle. It looks like a porcelain flower vase. It has a slight Caramel taste to it that eliminates IMO that burning sensation going down. No lime needed! The little brother thinks it tastes too sweet like candy but I don't.

I added a log to the fire and brought in enough wood to fill the cradle near the fireplace. If no one appears in the next 30 minutes I'll bank the fire and kill the draft. Have a great night.

Rick hope you enjoyed that oatmeal Stout

Good morning from So Central Wisconsin. The actual and the real feel temperatures are the same this morning at +3f degrees. The warming trend continues as the WeatherChannel app says the high will be 27.

The coffee is the Engineers Eye Opener blend that I believe has high octane caffeine in it. The hot teas and hot chocolates are in those other silver cylinders! The good stuff, the diet Dr pepper, other sodas with and w/o caffeine are in the cooler. The juices, milk, water and others are also in the cooler. Fried chicken thighs and breast meat and waffles are today's main item. The syrup is from the UP of Michigan. The chemical sugarless stuff is from a NJ factory. There are a few Door County Wisconsin cherry pies that have thawed out and are very good. You need bread, just delivered from the ovens is a marvelous sour dough that slathered with fresh churned butter is to die for! Yum, those on Pace makers be careful.

Not much on today's schedule. 9:30am I will meet up with a guy who I purchased his entire Intermodal fleet of equipment minus diesels. The plan is to weather and sell on FB and at 2 shows I signed for. The 1st in March and the second one in late September.

At 3 we will watch the #1 ranked Badger Women Hockey play Bemidji State, in Minnesota on the BigTen + Network. The last 2 games of the regular season. Conference Playoffs are next Friday!

Enjoy your day

Good morning everyone.

Lake Isabella weather: Sunny, with a high near 67.

TomO, Thanks for the coffee and very filling breakfast.
I never liked tequila either and the stout was virtual because there's no booze in the van.  :)
Good luck to your hockey team.

Jerry, why not start a new thread and maybe you'll be motivated to finish it.

Karl, you might need those cardinals based on the current pope's health.

Curt, how's dad doing?

Philip, California would be a great place to visit but it's run by wacko's and too expensive.
Not to mention the shaky ground.

Ron, makes sense that you won't need snow tires in Florida.

Larry, Mike, ACLTom, Greg, Terry and everyone else looking in, what's new?

Didn't do much other than drive a little north and find a place to stay near Lake Isabella.
I did work on my hiking video and posted it on Youtube.
Sorry about the wind noise.
There's still plenty to learn when videoing.  :-\

A picture from that hike.

Have a great day everyone.

What's your plans for the day.

It's colder with a high of cold in New York. Going to warm up for the next 5 days...yippee! More outdoor fun this afternoon so maybe some bench time first. Not much else going on here. Oh ya for those of you following my blog I did post another chapter in the ongoing saga.

Have a wonderful day!!! Keep warm, be well, and stay safe.

Jerry, try refreshing the page.

There's some quirk in various forum packages about how they handle images.  Apparently they cache them, and the cache takes time to populate.  (I think that's just sloppy programming....)

Good morning TomO, Rick, Dave, Larry, Greg, Philip, Jerry and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Tom, I'll that the real syrup thank you very much. 8)  Enjoy the hockey games, hope the badgers win.

Rick, going to have to watch your video.  And what is wrong with California?  I used to love visiting my Sister when she lived there.  She said her kids were never going to go to school there so they moved just before my nephew started school about 15 years ago, haven't been back since.  When I look back at it, I could only take 2 weeks at a time.

Dave, love the comics, are you saying that we should be seeing some interesting videos from Rick in the near future?

Larry, going to have to check your blog update.

Greg, enjoy your day.

Philip, avoid the cabin fever, do some modeling.

Jerry, glad you are feeling better.

Currently -12c (10f) and cloudy, they are calling for 1" of the white stuff on Sunday.  No modeling last night as I did a little more packing and I watch the hockey game last night.  This morning I get to run some errands, always last minute stuff that needs to be done before I go on these work adventures.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Tom. It sounded like a long day.

Well today is day 3 of Dad in the hospital and he will be here at least until tomorrow. It also looks like he will need to be on low flow O2 when he comes home. He's probably needed it for awhile now. :-\

Rick nice video.

Larry enjoy the warmer weather.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning folks,

TomO, that was one heck of a breakfast, thank you!  Good luck with your intermodal purchase.

Rick, it's amazing how beautiful that area is. Thanks for the videos.

Dave, love the cartoon.

Larry, thanks for the saga update.

Gregory, hi back!

Philip, enjoy the bench.

Jerry, enjoy the time working on your model.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a bright morning and cold at 18F headed to 46F I hope.  My Sister arrives with her two dogs for us to pet sit for a week.

I am working on the shed and need to attach the roof to the boxcar.

Have fun,
mike
