Good Morning All,

Breakfast today is coffee, cereal yogurt, bagels, OJ and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 53F and headed into the 80's later. Yesterday I painted the hand tools and blackened the metal detail parts. Today I need to burnish them after chores.

Dave it looks like you and your friends have more fun than I thought at the scotch club shown by the documentary photo Karl posted.🤣

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning everyone.

Carson City, NV weather: Mostly sunny, with a high near 67.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Have fun at the bench.

Karl, that's a funny picture.

Philip, less driving today?

Ron, were you able to do some painting?

TomO, glad you are sleeping better and $60 to park is robbery.

What's everyone have planned for today?

I'll hit the gym this morning and then Star and I will see what's happening in Carson City.
The one place I wanted to take pictures at Lake Tahoe was good.
The second place was a fail because the trailhead to get to it was closed.

Here's a short video taken at the overlook of Emerald Bay: https://youtube.com/shorts/XuNXBZspJWI

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast this morning. Hope you enjoyed your walk
and have fun at the bench.

Rick you and Star have fun exploring.

What's the rest of you up to?

It's a sunny but chilly 21 with a high of 38 in New York. Received a dusting of white crap
but that should all melt this afternoon. Have some 1:1 stuff to take care of then maybe some
bench time later on.

Enjoy your day!!!! Be well and stay safe.

Well, "Scotch Club" took a detour to Ireland last night.  We had 3 different Waterford Irish whiskeys.  Two were from specific barley sources, and the third was a blend (which fit in between the first two.)  There were clear differences between the two barley 'flavors,'  justifying the idea that barley source makes a difference.  Waterford, by the way, is now out of business.   It got up to 62 yesterday, and down to 22 this morning, so a 40 degree swing.  It's windy, but the sun is out with more sun than dark (by a couple of minutes).

I dug out another building in Lamson & Goodnow, the 4th brick building. Assembly should go quickly.

Good morning Curt, Rick, Larry, Dave and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt, did the small tools get all polished?

Rick, no painting last night, but I did spend time some time planning the industrial section of the modules.  Have fun exploring Carson City.

Larry, Hope the 1:1 stuff gets done quickly and you make it to the bench.

Dave, have fun building the building.

Karl, thanks for doing the historical dig to get that vintage photo, I never thought scotch clubs were like that. :)

Currently its 57F and sunny here.  Going to watch the race and then I have some building to work on.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt.

This morning is cool and few clouds in the sky but we lost power for more than 3 hours this morning. No clue as to why.

Rick, you asked how sprinklers get broken. Backing in the driveway and not paying attention, tree roots and kids walking down the sidewalk thinking it would be neat to kick a couple out. I will admit I broke one backing in!  :-[

Trying to decide my next project. I need to get caught up on all the forum posts the past week or so. I've been a bit lazy after the flat iron build.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Good afternoon from very wet So. Central Wisconsin. About 10:30 the rain predicted for 7am finally arrived. Nothing very heavy but very steady so far for the last 2.5 hours and not supposed to stop till midnight. Rain is good.

My agenda the next few days Jerry is all about Terry. 2nd cataract surgery at 6:30am tomorrow morning. A few days making sure she follows directions and a bit of weathering time at the bench. She should be fine around 1 Monday afternoon though. No out of the house train stuff for me.

Enjoy the day

Good afternoon everyone. Northern Colorado weather today is nice so far. Currently 46 with a light breeze. So it seems we have escaped the wind for a day. 40 mph winds back in the forecast for Monday. Spent a few hours outside today, cleaning horse pens, a little fencing...typical stuff for me but enjoyable when the weather is right, miserable when its not. Now I think it is time to hit the shower then the bench and get some more done on one of my many projects for my layout.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal donuts, OJ, and soda.

Starting out slowly here but have clothes in the washer and drinking coffee. Trying to get the energy to fix a bowl of cereal.

Yesterday I worked on details for a couple of hours until my brain turned to mush. Today after chores I will work on the outside boiler.

Nothing much happening this way.

I hope everyone has a good day.
