Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Tom. I'm thinking about crashing the party today.

Started out with a walk at 64F and pleasant. Yesterday went well at the VA.  Dad passed his O2 test without issue so he no longer needs the O2. I called the O2 company and they will pick up everything on Monday. That's a major hassle taken care of before the upcoming Alaska cruise in mid April. I've been there before but while boating with the Navy.

Rick great video of Star.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning everyone.

Redwood NP weather: Patchy fog before 11am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 55.

ACLTom, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Have fun with the Judge and the rest of the gang.

Curt, good news about Dad and thanks for watching the video.

Ron, glad you're making module progress.

Greg, was it a good workout?

TomO, sounds like things are about to get busier at home.

Philip, sorry you have to deal with that crap.

Mike, have fun today with the family.

Jerry, I'd love to see a photo of what you've built so far.

Karl, I think I saw that your hoops team won yesterday.

Larry, did any terraforming happen?

I arrived at Redwood NP yesterday morning.
This park is different from the other NP's I've been to.
There's a small area that's the NP and is free to visit but then the majority of it is California State Parks.
They charge fees to visit but they accept my Senior Lifetime NP Pass and I get a 50% discount.
It rained off and on all day and did manage to do two hikes and take pictures.

This is a short video of the first thing we saw when we got to the campground we're staying at: https://youtube.com/shorts/hiFIU2bldFQ

This is the first thing you see when you enter the park.
This is Agate Beach.

Good morning folks,

Tom, thanks for opening, coffee and breakfast. Wishing you a terrific session today.

Curt, congrats to your Dad for passing the O2 test.  Have fun at the ops session.

Ron, congrats on the building completion.

Gregory, hope your workout was good.

TomO, congrats on the good medical test results.

Philip, sympathy for your wife's root canal, not fun.

Rick, wishing you a no rain day.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's an overcast day and warming to 75°F.  It looks like a rainy weekend is in store.  Son and family arrive after lunch—daughter and hubby to join after that.

Made a little progress on the flat cars yesterday, mostly adding weight with sheet lead.  This morning I need to vacuum upstairs, put out towels and blow up the mattress for my grandson.  He will have the upstairs to himself.

Have fun,
mike

My current build is the Oil Derrick and miscellaneous rolling stock .

Good morning ACLTom, Curt, Rick, Mike, Philip and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Tom, have fun running trains today.  Have you convinced the Judge into continuing his weekly reports here, I really liked reading them.

Curt, That is great news about your dad.

Rick, I sure looked like Star really wanted to play with the elk.  Sounds like great hiking weather today.

Mike, enjoy your time with your grandson.

Philip, enjoy your day.

It's currently 65F and overcast here.  Did a little work at the bench last night.  Had to put a second coat of paint on the fire escape ladders so they didn't get complete last night, should be able to get that done tonight.  The next building to get done will be the pharmacy.  seeing as it's location is front and center it will get an interior.  I wasn't going to document the process as I've documented the previous ones but seeing as the RR-line is gone and I haven't done it here I will document the process and post in on my module thread.

Have a great day everyone.

The grey turned to clear sky, yesterday and became sunny and hit ~700:o  Sat out and sunned the bald spot, the whole head... :o  after getting a trim at the Barbery in town in the morning. Rain and even nastiness on the forecast today and tomorrow.

Yes Rick, the SPARTANS ;D did move ahead after sleeping well into the second half of the game, the A2 Weasels, not so well.

No plans yet today beyond a curtain rod project sometime. I have a couple building projects going as well.

Be well all.  Meet me at Toms for cheezy eggs...and tall tales.

Another nice day for early Spring.....

The workout was fine, although I wish I could skip more, but at my age that could be a problem.  ::)

Good Morning,

Tom thanks for the coffee and breakfast. I watched Florida play early on and they were quite
impressive to watch. Have fun training.

Curt great news for your Dad and It's always nice when something disappears from your "plate".

Rick nice photo. Yes stuff has been going on with the micro when time permits.

Mike hope you have a nice family visit.

Philip good morning.

Ron enjoy your modeling.

Karl gotta tell ya, my barber makes out well with my haircuts; not much left.

Jerry enjoy the family time.

Greg good morning, hope the workout went well.

What's the plan?

It's a rainy 48 with a high of 56 in New York. Early errands this am so I'm late to
the party. Hope to get in some bench time today since I can't get outside. I did manage to get
the rest of the backyard raked yesterday so check that off the list.

Have a great day!!! Be well and stay safe.

Good morning all,

A little rainy in Northern Colorado this AM. And I am glad, it has been so so dry. I am officially on vacation as of today. We will be flying out to Florida on Wednesday to visit my in-laws for a few days. Probably not much modeling going on for the next couple of weeks.

Good Morning Folks;

Thought I would stop by and see what is happening, a lot from looks of it. Rick, great video, hope your day goes well out there. I love that part of the country.

I came across a photo someone took of the last passenger train to stop at Scottsville NY, the village I grew up in. The main line still exists running between Buffalo and Rochester but no longer stops at Scottsville for freight either. The station still is there and is currently a school for pottery. Thought I'd share.

I did a double take on the picture, not because of the people but the station and you growing up in that village. I live about 20 miles away.
