Good Morning All,

Breakfast today is coffee, cereal, yogurt, bagels, OJ, and soda.

Everyone in the storm path stay safe.

Started out the day with a walk at 66F and humid from last night's rain. Yesterday I finished the reel assembly (it was a bear) and a blower assembly (much easier).

Today and tomorrow probably no workbench time. Today SIL is coming over to help me do some pool enclosure screen repair. Tomorrow I have my annual appointment with my primary care at the VA. Both of which are fun times. ::)

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning folks,

Curt, thanks for opening the coffee and breakfast.  Congrats on the assembly of the details.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's cloudy and rainy for most of the day.  The kids are headed out for some fun activities, so I'll get some bench time.

Have fun,
mike

Rick

Good morning everyone.

Brookings, OR weather: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 48.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Hope there's all good news tomorrow after the VA visit.

Mike, hope you make good progress upstairs.

Philip, Karl and everyone else in the path of storms, hope you are all well and there is no injury or property damage.
Stay safe.

Jim, thanks for the who's who and nice job on Pam's.

Karl, maybe done for now?  :)

Jerry, any plans today?

Greg, did you get a spritz?

ACLTom, all the fertilizer spread?

Ron, glad you have time for modeling.

TomO, hope the storms missed you.

Larry, any more mini progress?

Weather wasn't very conducive for many outside activities yesterday.
Drove north through the rest of the park and stopped along the way to take pictures.
Haven't looked at them yet and I'm not expecting much since the light was gray and overcast.
First time in Oregon.
There's a park nearby that I'd like to visit and a dog beach too.
Maybe it will stop raining a little and we can enjoy both of those.

This is a picture from Redwood NP on one of the hikes I did with a unique perspective.

I saw the Gators moved on to final 8 so still watching NCAA. As for today, really not sure.Stock market looks like a gray Monday but who knows. Have a great day folks.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt. The soda and OJ are nice and cold.

Little rainy and misty here this morning. As Jim said on the Daily Chat, good day for reading a good book. However, I have structures to be built for downtown Tahope.

Rick, yes, I got all the yard fertilizer spread and had a little left over from the SBG. I'm enjoying the rail museum video - half way through.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Good morning from So Central Wisconsin where overnight the predicted 2-3" of white stuff actually was a dusting (under 1/4") to me. Took the garbage and recycling bins out at 6am and the driveways and sidewalks were clear. Some of the grasses and the roofs had some white. High 40's later so everything we do have will melt

We had some tough storms pile through over night Saturday but we are fine as is most of the neighborhood. A house a few doors down did get hit by lightning as did 2 trees but the fire department saved the house but couldn't save the trees. Personally I think the neighbor would have been better off if the house was totaled.

I will be out at the daughter and SIL's house project this morning. I am the project and purchasing manager. All metal framing and lumber is on-site and most of the rest of the materials are in their barn at the vineyards. They should be all right except on kitchen appliances avoiding any future tariffs. I have a couple plumbing things to get here before Thursday to avoid tariffs on them. I was very surprised when I found most USA branded plumbing fixtures are made in Mexico. The highest of the high end though are still made in Wisconsin! Basically I'm down to what's in stock at plumbing distributors. That seems to be the Japanese plumbing brand ToTo. While I prefer a USA name brand there is no brand loyality here! It's been an interesting journey so far...

Not sure what the plans are after noon time

Enjoy your day

Morning Gents,

Jim nice job on "Pam's"; looks great!

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Hope the Doc's visit goes well.

Mike hope you're enjoying family time and have fun at the bench.

Rick fantastic photo!! Hope you and Star can get outside today. The micro is
coming along little at a time.

Tom not everyone can say "They spent some time spreading fertilizer"; almost as good
as your SBG's gatherings.

Greg have fun at the gym.

Jerry hope you make it to the bench later on.

Ron hope some bench time is in your immediate future.

Tom O hope all the housing stuff works to your advantage.

Hope any of you guys in any storm paths stay safe and unharmed property wise.

It's a sunny but a little muggy, haven't used that word in months, @ 65 with a high of 66 in New York.
We did get some rain earlier while I was grocery shopping. The good news eggs came down one dollar a dozen but still way too high. Also ran some other errands this am. Not sure about this afternoon, depends how the weather holds. Oh ya for those following my blog I did post another chapter; now I have to get busy writing.

Have a great day!! Be well and stay safe.

Lines and poles down and power  outage is widespread. Power company has estimated power on by 5:15, but not so sure, I saw half a dozen poles down in the area. Didn't see anyone working on them :o

Yesterday was upper 60s, 340 today and overcast.

Hoops is over, storm saved us from watching it.  :'(

The Doll and I have relocated to the younger daughter's in West Lansing for a bit. She has a dentist appointment this afternoon.

That's all I've got... be well all.

Forgot to congradulate the lady Badgers on the NCCA Hockey National Championship.

Well deserved to a very talented group of young ladies.

Even with great talent on the ice it doesn't hurt to have a Johnson behind the bench!

No one around here working on the power outage until late afternoon, they blew right thru 5:15 like the SuperChief...shooting for Tuesday afternoon if not Wednesday just in time for another batch of severe storms. Weather service confirmed two tornados not far from us and winds up to 96mph.

Have generators running all over the area. There was a line at the gas station of folks filling cans. My son stopped by and got my machine going, a little more oomph in the starter cord. Heater running takes the edge off the chill.

Getting pretty good internet from our cell service right now.  :o

Well, Karl, sending warm thoughts.  Sorry you can't burn those in the fireplace...

(Longest I remember being out of power was 3 days in the middle of a Virginia summer.  I was literally on the phone with a hotel trying to book a room when the power came back on.)
