Morning Curt and others,

Thanks for breakfast and the OJ.

Bank of thunder storms passed through last night, lots of light and noise. I was expecting to lose power but we stayed lit. So time to drain the pool now of the overflow.

More 1:1 stuff after that. May not get to the bench today.

Karl, hope you get power back soon.

\Have a safe and healthy day everyone.

Good morning all, coffee and bagel sound wonderful, thanks.
I am sitting at the airport waiting to load in 20 minutes. Up early as we live well over an hour from the airport. Such a hassle. The only thing I like about flying is getting to a destination quickly. Outside of that it sucks in my opinion. But in a little over 3 hrs we will be in Tampa, so I deal with it...lol

Dale have a safe flight and yes flying does suck.

What's your plans?

It's a chilly 24 with a high of 48 in New York. Have to go and get my back cracked shortly
then maybe some bench time after that.

Have a great day!! Be well and stay safe.

Good morning from Wisconsin where it is very wet. The rain very heavy at times started around 6pm last night and hasn't let up. Lots of wind, lightning and thunder at times as it's just being nasty.

Electrical outages. Fortunately I can't remember anything over 12 hours.

The winner of the Wisconsin elections, the media. In 1 race the candidates and supporters spent $90 million on ads! 1 race...

I think my minor funk is from lack of fresh air and sunshine. I'll move my spray booth into the area of my SAD's light wall. I haven't used it at all this past Winter

Enjoy your day

I have some household chores to do this morning.
Then some bench time.
Yes Rick a few more days and I'll be ready to start a thread.

Good morning all, The weather here has been unpredictable to say the least. Ef1 went through the other night. Today the wind is blowing 40-50mph constantly. They are calling for extreme storms from now until Sunday. Some are predicting 8-12". A wash out in the garden.

Hunkering down until Sunday and trying to finish the juke joint.

Down the road in Harned,KY. Have a good en!

Good Morning,

Philip hope the storms pass you by with no damage. I hate seeing property damage
after a storm.

Dale HAPPY 65th. I worked until I was 67 just for the medical coverage for my wife.
Enjoy the warmer weather down there.

Hope the rest of you get power restored very soon.

The usual morning beverages are ready. Breakfast is buttermilk pancakes with butter
and syrup along with sides of crispy bacon.

What happening in your world?

It's a rainy 48 with a high of 69 in New York. Thunderstorms rolled on through between 4:30
to about 5am this morning; thankfully the power stayed on. Looks like rain most of the day so
maybe some more time at the bench.

Have an enjoyable day!! Be well and stay safe.

Good morning all
Larry, black coffee and pancakes will hit the spot. Waking up in Florida today, not a cloud in the sky. Not sure of the temp but probably mid-upper 70s now. Sure beats 25 with wind like back home in Northern Colorado. We will be going to the Sarasota toy museum today, I have heard they have a pretty nice HO layout there. It is my 65th birthday today and Florida is a great place to make that milestone. My in-laws are pushing me gently to buy a retirement place here. I still plan on working a couple of years so we haven't made any hard decisions on what is next. Have A wonderful day everyone!!

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Larry. Great chapter in your story with a bit of a twist. Some how I missed it previously.

I believe yesterday was our first day at 90F this year. Last year we had 140 of them. Yesterday I got about 90 minutes at the workbench before daughter called and asked us to do a temp fix on youngest grandson broke out. Don't ask. I ended up cauking a piece of plexiglass in the opening.

At the workbench yesterday was mainly reading and looking at pictures of the next steps. I'm a bit disappointed that the picture shows chain hanging on the wall with none provided and other things held up by pegs with no mention of it in the instructions.

Today after chores I'll head to the train room.

Tomorrow MOH and I need to take youngest grandson to his HS for counseling before he is allowed to  start there. I don't believe he will graduate and if he does it will be because of social promotion which is alive and well in FL. :-X

I guess that's enough complaining today.

I hope everyone has a good day.

The family went fishing yesterday and had lots of fun.  Our Son is off to DC for AI meetings today so it will be a slow day here.  Maybe I can get some time upstairs. Flat cars are almost finished.
