Good morning everyone.

Portland weather: Sunny, with a high near 70.
Finally!

ACLTom, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
You certainly had a busy and productive day yesterday.

Dale, enjoy the airboat ride.

Karl, glad things are returning to normal.

Dave, there are three Powell Book stores here.
Don't know where in size this one ranked compared to the others, but the amount of books was overwhelming.
I bought a science fiction book.

Greg, ever get those bids?

Jerry, hope you're well.

Philip, hope you're doing well with all that rain.

Ron, it's nice to have another race this weekend.

TomO, have fun building the slot car track.

Jim, it's already too hot there and it's only April.

Larry, any mini progress?

Mike, hope you are well.

Gym this morning.
Then early in the afternoon I'm meeting up with a few other Storyteller owners at a state park not far from here.
I'll be camping there through the weekend.

This guy was the leader of the herd of Roosevelt Elk that hung around the Gold Bluffs Campground I was staying at.

Morning Guys,

Tom thanks for the hearty breakfast and coffee. That's one nasty looking filter; glad
you were able to get it cleaned.

Dale enjoy the nice weather and it's a shame the toy museum was a bust.

Karl stay warm in the mitten.

Rick nice photo! Enjoy time with the other "story tellers". Yes progress slow but sure.

Jerry have fun at the bench and am looking forward to a new thread from you when you
get to it.

What's your plans for the day?

It's a sunny 45 with a high of 52 In New York. Some early errands this am and maybe some
bench time after this. This afternoon some outdoors time working on the yard; the grass
is really starting to get green.

Have a great day!! Be well and stay safe.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for breakfast Tom.

Started out with a walk at 71F and slightly breezy.

Picked up grandson and after 2 other attempts to enroll him that he blew up, he is finally registered for HS. He's missed about 6 weeks of school intentionally, destroys things, drinks and does drugs and believes that the world revolves around him. Of course everyone else is a liar. He's almost 18. The police have been called numerous times and nothing happens.

Sorry, I had to vent a bit.

Dave I stole the mine sign and I'll put it inside the hoist house.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good afternoon folks,

Tom, thanks for opening, the coffee, and the delicious breakfast.  My cardiologist will love you...  You've been a busy man.  Glad Pam took you out for supper as a reward.

Dale, wishing you a warm time in Florida.

Karl, hope the mitten time ends soon.

Rick, wishing you a fantastic day with your friends.  I'm loving the photos.

Jerry, glad you have time for the bench.

Larry, hope you enjoy the smell of fresh cut green grass.

Curt, sorry you are having to endure an errant youth. Venting is good.

Philip, hope the nasty weather passed you by.  That is one heck of a storm brewing.

How is the rest of the gang?

It's a cloudy day but warm at 86°F.  The kids went for a hike after breakfast.  I slipped upstairs and took some photos.

Tonight we're headed to Senoia, GA (where a lot of "The Walking Dead" show was filmed) for a fantastic meal at Bistro Hilary.

The guys leave for Washington in the early afternoon tomorrow, but we'll have breakfast first at Waffle House.  We've had a wonderful visit.  I'm not sure why I deserve such good kids!

Have fun,
mike

Me too, this morning's clear is now overcast and rain due by 6pm and most of tomorrow and s*&# by Monday in some form, so the mittens are still hanging around.  At least I haven't, knock wood, lost any this winter.

Morning Gents,

I see some of the others around but I'll have a go at breakfast anyway. Coffee's nice and hot along with the usual morning favorites. Breakfast is cheesy scrambled eggs, bacon and/or pan sausages.

What'cha all doing today?

It's a rainy dark 45 with a high of 52 in New York. Threw up some Easter decs yesterday afternoon and will finish that up this afternoon. In the meantime I hear the bench calling my name. Other than that not a whole lot going on here.

Have an enjoyable day!!! Be well and stay safe.

Good morning from Wisconsin. A decent weather day, it should be calm in the low 50's.

Terry has had a very good week playing that big casino game called the stock market. She expects the blood bath to really start Monday and she'll be at her monitors ready. She has promised not to look at her investment computer till after dinner on Sunday night.

All travel plans we were developing for road tripping starting on Friday the 11th have been put aside. I started another blood pressure medication Tuesday and I've had the same issues adjusting to it as the previous med. Yesterday in a message from my doctor she said to cut my pills in 1/2 and only take half but stop driving!

Since Terry also has restricted driving the plan to head to the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas via an overnight in Springfield, Missouri and then Gulf Shores to visit friends is paused. I will eventually get to that museum. Getting older as we all know is only for the tough...

My walk this morning at 6 was an event. 3 neighbors were at the end of the driveway and we went together. Usually the 4 of us see each other and just wave. They planned a together walk and I am pretty regular to be out there starting at 6, so at least 1 knew I'd be there. It was fine and is a push I need. 3 miles in 48 minutes is pretty good and the shower after was heavenly but I will need a nap soon.

Enjoy the day
TomO

Good morning everyone.

Cascade Locks, OR weather: Partly sunny, with a high near 67.

Larry, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Hope you make good progress at the bench.

Jerry, how's things in Joisey?

Karl, spring will be here before you know it.

Mike, enjoy the Waffle House, and you have wonderful kids because you're a wonderful Dad.

Philip, stay inside and have fun at the bench.

Curt, hopefully your grandson will someday soon turn things around.

Dale, how was the airboat ride?

ACLTom, TomO, Greg, Dave, Ron, Terry and anyone else looking hope you are all well.

Made it to the campground yesterday afternoon.
I can see the Columbia River from here and Washington is on the other side.
Did a nice 3.5 mile hike with two other Storytellers.
Saw two nice waterfalls.
I believe the final count was 12 Storyteller vans here.
Another hike planned for today with more fellow van'ers to see more waterfalls.

This is behind Ponytail Falls yesterday.

380 with light rain, going to do so until noon and remain mostly cloudy after, topping out in 40s.  Anyone traveling it looks like terrible flooding potential in the whole SE area.

Fine sounding fine at the breakfast offering, LarryC. :D  Been staying up too late to ever imagine an 0600 venture.  Good for you, TomO.

Not sure of plans today, one of the Grands is stopping over to see the Doll.  Bench time for sure, maybe. :-\

Safe travels, enjoy what's in your life everyone.  Be well ;D .

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Larry. Enjoy your bench time today.

Starting off here at 71F. I think we got to 94F yesterday. Our average for this time of year is in the low 80's.

Yesterday I did a couple more interior details in the hoist house. It looks like I'm at the point of starting directly on the diorama base.

I've already finished chores so the rest of the day should be mine...fingers crossed. Oh yeah, our dishwasher died the other day. It's pretty old so that's something to deal with after vacation. We only use it once or twice a week.

Rick great photo of the buck? Not sure if Elk terminology is the same as deer. I've never seen an Elk in the wild. Great photo today.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning folks,

Larry, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast.  Enjoy the bench.

TomO, good luck with adjusting the blood pressure medicine.  As for the market, I recommend mentally going to Bora Bora until it plays out.

Rick, so cool you met the Storyteller group. Nice photo. Our son lives in Kennewick across the river.  The drive along the river has some terrific views and hiking areas.

Karl, enjoy the bench.

Curt, good luck with the interior and exterior details.

How is the rest of the gang?

Thanks for all the kind comments about our kids.

It's a bright morning at 63F with a forecast high of 86F.  The flat cars are finished except for decals and weathering. Next up will be working on the layout, along with either a stock car or a tank car build  I need to design and start on the water tank, too.

Have fun,
mike

Morning all. Thanks for the coffee Larry.

Cool photo Rick!

Six days of rain and still pouring. Went to the PO box and picked up 5 days of mail yesterday. Cabin fever!

Dogwoods are about to bloom!

Moving forward on the model.

Have a great day!

Philip
