Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Larry.

Sitting at VA for Dad's neuropsychology appointment. It's 4 hours long starting at 0800. If I'm not allowed to sit in I'll go home and come back for Dad. I don't want to sit around the VA all morning twiddling my thumbs.

Yesterday I put the initial dirt layer on the diorama. I used a combination of SE fine and medium sand (light on the medium).

I may post later.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning everyone.

Cascade Locks weather: It's the rainy season so naturally that's what it's doing today.

Larry, thanks for the coffee and breakfast and have fun at the bench.

Karl, have fun playing trains.

ACLTom, I guess it's a train shed day today.

Curt, hope Dad only gets good results.

Philip, I never noticed how long it took to reach 100 pages there.
I think we're on about the same pace here.

Greg, hope you have a good day at work.

Jerry, how was lunch?

Ron, I thought the race was pretty bland.

Mike, how long can you keep resisting?  ;D

TomO, is your email working now?

Plans changed yesterday.
Stayed here at camp one more night.
Yesterday I went with two other campers and hiked to the top of Beacon Rock, then had a delicious bacon cheeseburger and chocolate shake and lastly visited a fish hatchery.
Today's plan is to definitely leave camp and head east where it should be less rainy.

A view from Beacon Rock.

Tom what are you doing today??

Karl have fun running trains.

Ron saw your update looking good as usual.
What did you think of the race??

Rick your pictures are better than ever.

Philip I answered you.  Wish the sun would shine here.

Weather in South Jersey rain/40.  And that's the forecast.
A few things to pic up at the store later on.
Then some more time and hour or  two at the bench.  I'm getting there.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Good morning. A decent but very windy day in Wisconsin.

Rick, after deleting and re-installing the email app twice, it's been working about 18 hours with no issues.

Staying home today should get me some time in the train room

Enjoy your day

Good afternoon folks,

Larry, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast. Hope you dodge the white sneaux.

Curt, good luck to your Dad.  Hope you were able to go home.

TomACL, wishing you a terrific day.

Karl, hope your playing with trains was successful.

Ron, nice work on the turret.

Rick, good luck with your quest for dry land...

Philip, hope you dodge the nasty weather.

Jerry, good luck at the bench.

TomO, hope you get time in the train room.

How is the rest of the gang?

It's a rainy day in Georgia.  In Texas, I would have called it a "toad strangler".  This morning I put another coat of paint on the tank car and made lead weights for the frame.  I hope to make decal masters this afternoon.  The masonic lodge has a degree practice tonight.

Have fun,
mike

Good evening everyone,

It's a nice quiet evening here so I'm just going to sit by the fire a bit and enjoy some 15yr Glenlivet single malt scotch and do some catching up on the forum.  There is also a bottle of  Eagle Rare and other assorted liquor if you prefer something different.

Rick, Jerry, the race almost put me to sleep, nothing happened, absolutely nothing. :o   Hope this weekend race is more exciting.

Have a great evening everyone.

Good Morning All,

Breakfast today is coffee, cereal, assorted donuts, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

I'll only have coffee since I was dealing with reflux most of the night. I didn't do a morning walk because it was supposed to be raining. No rain that I can see although the sky is gray.

Dad had his test yesterday. We both answered background questions for an hour then I had to leave the room and Dad did his part for 2 hours. We have a video conference on Thursday morning for the results.

Today Dad gets a Hep B shot (2nd) and at 2 pm he has a follow up at Centra Care for his leg. I'm glad he has very good health insurance. I have chores outside this morning if the rain holds off. Might as well enjoy the cooler temps (70's) because I think this will be it before it really warms up locally.

Probably won't make it to the workbench again today. :(

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning folks,

Curt, thank you for opening and breakfast. Hope your Dad's test results come back good.

Ron, thanks for the scotch.  It was a nice sip.

How is the rest of the crew today?

Other than a degree at the lodge tonight, I don't have plans.  I hope to work on the tank car and maybe the layout.

Have fun,
mike

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and doughnuts this morning. Glad to hear your Dad's
navigating the healthcare system; that gets harder when you get old. Don't overdue
outside.

Mike hope you log in some bench time today.

What's the rest of you up to?

It's a cold 25 with a high of only 32 and a chance of wind with some white crap in New York; ugh.
Thursday it warms back up into the 50's.....yippee!! Never made it to the bench yesterday; some
1:1 stuff popped up so maybe today.

Enjoy your day!!!! Be well and stay safe.
