Good Morning,

Coffee's on and also the usual other morning beverages. Pastries galore so enjoy.

Karl hope the nasty weather misses you and hope they restore power before Wed.

What's your plans for the day?

It's a chilly 34 with a light during of white crap going to 42 in New York.
A few errands shortly then some bench time since this is an indoors kind of day.

Enjoy your day!!! Be well and stay safe.

Morning all,

I've been up since O Dark Thirty. Busy day! Already been to the gas station, stopped at Micky D's for a sausage muffin, been to the bank, grocery store and Ace Hardware. Almost time for a nap.

The longest I've been without power was 15 days after Hurricane Charlie blew through here in 2004.

We have bowling today at noon and I'm not in the mood.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Larry. Try to stay warm today.

Currently sitting at the doctor's waiting room. Traffic was ridiculous this morning. Yesterday was successful. The screen panels were replaced and the O2 tanks were picked up.

After the appointment I have to pick up a prescription at the pharmacy then go to the bank before getting home.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning;

Looks like lots of people up and going this morning. I have a dentist appointment but rest of day is mine. Think I will clean up, take a walk and figure out what to get into for the day. Have a great one.

Good morning everyone.

Myrtle Point, OR weather: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 8am, then a chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 55.
Showers are more than likely since it's raining now.

Larry, thanks for the coffee and pastry.
Have fun indoors.

Jerry, hope Izzy has a good time at the groomers.
Star would hate that experience.

Jim, hope your dentist visit is painless.

Curt, hope you don't have to wait too much longer for the doctor.

ACLTom, you have been busy and good luck bowling.
It's nice to be thought about and please say hello to Pam for me.

Karl, hope you're stying safe from any storms and are the lights on yet at home?

Rob, thanks for stopping in.

TomO, glad you're safe and damage free from the storms.

Philip, hope you're OK and have the lights on.

Ron, any news from the bench?

Mike, make good progress yesterday upstairs?

Greg, hope you get good prices from the subs.

I'm very tired of all this rain.
Looks like I have to wait till Thursday for it to stop.
Drove along the Oregon coast yesterday and many pretty sites but not many pictures because of the very gray skies and rain.
I have another 75 miles or so to drive to get to the gym today.
I should do laundry and get my taxes done too.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning all

Northern Colorado weather is very pleasnt this morning. 34 currently headed for a high of 47. Looks like wind and rain later in the day.

I am on vacation this week and next week. Flying out to Florida tomorrow to visit my in-laws in Zepherhills for a couple of days, then off to clearwater beach where my wife rented something, not sure what to expect...lol. Pretty sure it's right on the beach. No matter it will just be nice to get away for a few days away from the cold wind.

Jerry

Well we're back from the groomers and grocery shopping.

Izzy is napping totally exhausted from the groomers!!

I've been updating my address book of emails and names.
Seems I have lots of first names but no last names of people.

Time for the bench.

Enjoy the day!!  ;D

Good late afternoon. Election Day for Terry and me was over at 9:15am. The greeter at the polls said we were 491 and 492 as they were very busy when they opened up. For the most part I cancelled out Terry's votes but the main one I agreed with her.

Even with all the rain we've had in the past week and really in the last couple of days the Parks and Rec guys had a controlled burn around a retention pond in the neighborhood get out of control. I have not seen that many fire trucks in one spot since dad used to take us to the Chicago fire shows at Soldier Field in the 60's. Happened a couple years ago too but in the fields beyond the soccer complex. If it's windy, they shouldn't burn and it's very windy.

No weathering mojo the last couple days (I'm almost 3 weeks ahead of schedule on deliveries) and nothing on the layout for awhile now. I don't know why as it was flowing so nicely!

Dinner is still 1/2 hour out.

The brother will be here later for a couple nights. The kids have everything moved in and close on their place tomorrow. It's quiet as the granddaughter has PT and the grandson is at hockey practice. Their new place is on time (5/2026) with the foundations in but lost yesterday because of the rain. We are thinking of traveling after our Doctor visits next week.

Forgot to congradulate the lady Badgers on the NCCA Hockey National Championship.

Well deserved to a very talented group of young ladies.

Even with great talent on the ice it doesn't hurt to have a Johnson behind the bench!

Rob

Thank you. We have been season ticket holders since 2010 but going to every game at home and 4-6 on the road since 2015. This is by far Mark's most talented and deepest squad since we've been watching. His 4th line of all freshmen would be 1st or second lines everywhere else except at Ohio State and  Minnesota. They rank IMOO just a step above the 2019-20 team that was getting on the plane for the NCAA's when trumps regime pulled the plug (rightly so) on everything. But we'll never know about that squad. All the current juniors coming back as seniors next year (5) should be on the USA team preparing for the 2026 Olympics.

A strange darkness has settled over the area, the sun was diluted behind a hazy bank and faded away before it set. The sound of generators echoing thru the countryside as the "electrical provider" has still failed to restore their service while their computer generated text messages give glowing promises of based on prior experiences restoration will be soon"

While late this afternoon I did see some work being done 3 miles N of us there is no way they can get all the poles replaced between there and my place by tonight. Oh and the NWS has a real mixed bag of really nasty schmutz due to inundate us beginning late tonight into tomorrow afternoon and evening. They used up the majority of their patented trick bag of scary weather person special panic driving adjectives to prepare us for a massive Snow-Ma-ice-wind-blown-deluge of potentially devastating-tornadic-flooding rain...not sure what or when but you're bound to be impressed.  :o

The generator is full, the space heater is running and the chill is back in the fridge.
Were I beer drinker... ;D

My morning dental visit was enlightening, or make that "a lightening" of my wallet..with more to come.  :o

Enuf from here. Be well stay safe.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 73F and humid. Thankfully there was a light breeze.

Yesterday went well with the doc although I had to do more bloodwork and get a chest xray (previous smoker). Unfortunately this was my last time with this doc as she's transferring to LA (state). I got home about 1300 and the only thing I did in the train room was finish gluing the 2 mine cart wheels on.

Today Dad has his PT this afternoon and I plan on some train room therapy.

Karl I hope you get power soon.

I hope everyone has a good day.
