Morning all,

Breakfast is on the table. If you can imagine it, then dig in and enjoy. Drinks are real and on the other table.

I cleaned up the decluttered clutter yesterday and the train room is looking much better. I can actually see things now an walk down the east isle.

Hope everyone is having or will have a safe and happy day.

Yesterday's 850 and sun followed by more storms ovenight will result in a windy 530 if we're lucky today and the next few.  If I mow will probably wear my snow plowing outfit.   ::)

Thanks for opening Tom.

Spared again with high winds and heavy rain. Clear & cool as a bell this am.

I'm still looking for my long handle tweezers I use for rivets Dave. MIA so long I purchased another set that i will most likely lose.

I hear ya Karl, crazy town weather. We were in the bullseye yesterday.

A few errands this morning, maybe some bench tonight.

Good day to all!

I'll call my Army buddy in KY later today.  From what I've heard, the worst of the weather was well east of where he lives.

They've substantially reduced the rain forecast here in SE NH for today.  We had an "audible" call for Scotch Club last night, because the evening turned out to be quite nice, and the forecast for today called for rain in the late afternoon.  (Topic was 'heavy peat'.)

Today I'll work on the double windows for Wichendon, paint some other windows, and possibly start assembly on the walls.  Plan there is to test fit the windows, then do the interior wall studs that fit around the window and door openings.

Good Morning,

Tom thanks for the coffee and breakfast this morning. Nice you can actually get around in the train shed
once again. I know my layout area is getting out of hand upstairs but that will be a fall endeavor.

Karl I think our weather will be like yours yesterday and cooler starting tomorrow. Snow suit to mow the
lawn? I'd almost pay to see that one.

Philip seems like the weather is getting wackier the last few years. If I was a conspiracy nut I'd say
someone is screwing with Mother Nature and she'll most likely screw back. Hope you make it to the bench.

Dave hope you have a great time at the bench.

What are you doing today.

Its a sunny 71 with a high of 75 in New York with storms expected this am; hopefully the power stays on.
Hopefully some more time at the bench this morning. Other than that not much else going on here.

Have a great day!!! Be well and stay safe.

Good morning everyone.

Prospect, OR weather: Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 2pm. S#$@ level 6400 feet lowering to 5600 feet. High near 54.
The s#$@ in the higher elevations is troubling because I was hoping to get to Crater Lake NP, which is at 7,000', but if they're getting more white stuff but might not happen now.
I'm only 30 miles from there.

ACLTom, thanks for the breakfast coffee.
Good news on the decluttering.

Philip, that area got hit hard.
I hope you anyone else in these storm areas is safe today.

Larry, hope your lights stay on.

Dave, I tried scotches and the only ones I liked were the peated ones.

Karl, I hope Vicki and you are doing well health wise and that there aren't any serious problems.

Mike, I'll have to look at your finished track work photos.

Jerry, good news on Diane's bloodwork and hope you had some productive bench time.

Ron, lights done?

Curt, new pool pump in?

Greg, TomO, Dale and everyone else looking in I hope you are well.

I hiked 6.5 miles and 827' of EG on the Lower Table Rock Trail.
Star had to sit this one out again because dogs weren't allowed.
I'm parked at the trailhead of another good hiking trail and if the rain doesn't fall Star and I will do that.
The Rogue River flows near here and there's an interesting feature of the river called The Natural Bridge.
Here's a short video showing that: https://youtube.com/shorts/OlFq6SaOtyE

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning ACLTom, Karl, Philip, Dave, Larry, Rick and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Tom, glad to hear that the decluttering is done.  I hope you didn't do it on my behalf. 8)

Karl, hope the health issues aren't serious.

Philip, good luck with the errands, hope you make it to the bench tonight.

Dave, hope the Scotch Club went well.

Larry, hope the storms don't effect you and you get the bench.

Rick, enjoy your hike with Star today.

Jerry, glade Diane's blood work came back good, is it beach season yet?

Currently 79F and hazy here.  No modeling last night so I didn't get the last of the light boxes finished.  I did order supplies so I can do the interior of the drugstore, which will be the last building to be finished.  I'll be watching the F1 qualifying when I get home from work tonight.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning folks,

TomACL, thanks for opening and breakfast.  Congrats on the layout room organization.

Karl, good luck mowing, and thanks for the lighthouse photo.

Philip, have fun with the rivets.  The storms look bad your way.

Dave, it sounds like a fun day at the bench.  Good luck with the framing.

Larry, hope the storms pass you by.  Enjoy the bench.

Rick, glad you enjoyed the hike.  That's some fast-moving water!

Ron, congrats on the lightboxes.  Enjoy the race!

Jerry, enjoy the bench!

How is the rest of the gang?

It's another cloudy morning, which includes a fast thunderstorm.  High today is forecast for 83°F.

The under layout wiring is still on the to-do list.  I started working on the stock car and am printing more walls for the sheriff's office and jail.  All the walls for the water tower are complete, so I need to start work cutting and filing them. I'll post some photos later.

Have fun,
mike

It's like Karl suggested, the storms and tornados and such are much angrier.

TomO/Tloc

Good evening from my intact portion of Wisconsin. Miserable weather the last 3 days for parts of Wisconsin but my actual portion just south of Madison was fine. It seemed to approach us but split thankfully around us

The play we saw was Clue and it was hilarious from the opening curtain till it dropped. Based on the board game and a some movie from either 1988 or 98.

We leave 5/21 for the wedding on the 24th. The loss of our fully paid for AirBnB hurts and my sister gave me the phone number of a good friend of her daughter's. Mike is a LA attorney and has 2 other similar cancellations of AirBnB's to ours. When I spoke to him I mentioned 10 days ago they confirmed the reservation again. Terry emailed all our info and documentation. We had lots of LA things planned to do/visit plus my biggest weathering client and I were going to have lunch on 5/22.

I have the Jets/Stars hockey game on. 1st period no score yet!

Grandson had 2 soccer games in the normal 18 mph winds that were gusting into the 40's that first game. At game time at 9am it was 53f degrees feeling like 32. It was miserable and the boys found a way to lose. Game 2 at 4:30 was still windy but they won 6-1. The grandson's game playing today was let say "off". Personally I think he's finally burnt out. The week in LA should help him

The popcorn is freshly popped with real butter and salt. The beverages are in the coolers or behind the bar. The fire pit is roaring on the deck but the fireplace is available inside if u get too cold outside. Join in!

I asked the other day at supper what is the difference between the current rage of Dubai chocolate and other "good" chocolates. So my daughter purchased some for me to try. Kilwins had their dark chocolates at $13 per pound and had dark chocolate from Dubai for $23 per pound! No comparison for me, Kilwin's was great. Tasted better and smoother to me. Any thoughts

Be well, stay safe

Evening Tom

I'll have a Eagle rare with you tonight.

Sounds like your wedding trip has a few things going wrong.  Hope it gets all straighten out.

Diane's one son left this morning to do his deck job. So we think he finished early and went back home.

Did a little bench time today.  Then just sat out in the sun in the back yard.  The beach is still to windy.

See you all in the am.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Had a great time at Tom's yesterday along with Bill, Bob, and Dad.

Today will be the pool pump replacement. SIL had a last minute change on Friday and could not make it then. The new dishwasher is supposed to arrive at the store Tuesday. Probably no modeling time today.

I hope everyone has a good day.
