Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Rick, very tasty along with the cold and fresh OJ.

Rick, its easy to just stay signed in. So even if it looks like I'm on line I may not be at the puter. I've been going through the recently discovered stash and deciding what I can sell on Ebay of items I'll never build or use. And, free up more space in the process.

I'm making a hobby shop run to get some Matte Medium. I want to refresh some areas of scenery that are now 12 years old. I need to call Joey Ricard of Trackside Scenery and order some back drops to start scenery on the third level. I also need to get back to the Merchant Row building and the layout thread. Seems for every item checked off the list, I find two more to add.  :P

I hope everyone has a safe and happy day.

Morning all,

Tom, I went to Colonial Hobby for the first time in a while on a mission for track...brace yourself, the parking has become an issue. Looking forward to seeing you soon.

I'm actually gaining some traction over here and hope to have something to share soon.

Philip

Good morning all, Another alert day in Kentucky with rain and more possible funnels. Managed to plant all the corn yesterday now rain is setting in.

Have a great Tuesday!

TomO/Tloc

Good morning from very wet, windy and stormy So Central Wisconsin. It was supposed to start around 2am and all I know is the lightning cracked nearby at 3:05 to wake me up and I've been awake since. It's been occasional lightning and thunder ever since but the rain has been continuous. I was on the treadmill at 4:15 for an hour, boy I dislike that machine. Rain here is supposed to continue till 3-4pm with occasionally severe. I can see the rain gauge out front but the markings are turned that I cannot read the amount of rain that has fallen.

Rick, I've been hitting balls daily for a few months. The strength is coming back but very slowly. About 3 weeks ago I did play 9 holes with the SIL and a friend. It wasn't pretty as I can only hit the ball on the tee at most 200 yards. Thats a big drop from 250+ last year My brother promised not to push me to play. I can if I want hop in a golf cart in the garage and go down to the pro shop and they will get me in for 9 holes

Just biding time till we get on the plane Wednesday. I should clean the train room. I starting taking pictures yesterday for posting here and on Facebook for some upcoming Front end Friday pictures. I have 3 spots on the layout I really like for pictures, yesterday though I purposely took the pictures in different spots. Not sure if I like them enough to post. Maybe more playing today

I will be checking in occasionally over the next month but I doubt I'll be posting much. I have trouble adjusting to Hawaii time, 5 hour difference from Wisconsin so we'll see. Be well, stay safe...

Enjoy your day

Good morning Rick, Karl, Larry, Curt, Mike, ACLTom, Philip, TomO and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Rick, had to look up "beef empanadas" to see what they were, they look delicious.

Can't stay long, work is pilling up.  :o

Currently 82F and slightly cloudy here.  No modeling last night but I did post an update on my Henderson thread.  Think I'll start adding signage tonight so I can get the three buildings out of the way.

Have a great day everyone.

No heat in SE NH!  Highs will stay well below 70 for the next 7 days.  And That's A Good Thing!  You couldn't pay me enough to live in Florida (or Texas) heat & humidity.

Off to the basement, to finish gluing studs to the last of the Winchendon walls.

Morning Gents,

The morning beverages are all set to go. Breakfast is ham with melted cheddar cheese on your
choice of bagels along with crispy bacon and home fries, dig in.

What's happening today.

It's 49 with a high of 57 with showers; there's a surprise. Going shortly to get my back cracked
so I can navigate for the next 8 weeks. Yesterday we had our eyes examined and new glasses purchased.
We hit on a sale with 30% off lenses and 50% off the frames; it was like a "buy one get one free" sale.
We'll take it!!!! Should have our new glasses in a couple of weeks. Maybe some bench time later.

Have a great day!! Be well and keep yourself safe.

Good morning folks,

Larry, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast. Congrats on the eyeglasses purchases.

Philip, good luck at the doc's office.  Enjoy the outdoor work.

How is the rest of the gang?

It's a bright morning after a night of thunderstorms. Today's high is forecast for 84°F. Other than work on the water tower, I have little on my agenda.

Have fun,
mike

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Larry. Great deal on the glasses.

Another poor night of sleep. The problem is that I keep waking up before falling asleep again. It's not very restful.

Yesterday I continued working on detail parts. We got the pool parts in last night, so SIL is coming over this morning.

Philip good luck to you and your wife.

Mike have fun on the water tank.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning everyone.

Bend, OR weather: Increasing clouds, with a high near 69.

Larry, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Congratulations on the great deal on new glasses.

Curt, hope you get some good sleep tonight and the pool fix goes well.

Mike, have fun with the water tank.

Philip, hope there's nothing but good news at the doctor and good luck to Gina on tomorrows procedure.

Dave, studs all done?

Greg, keep cool.

Jerry, anything good going on today?

Ron, did you get to the signage?

TomO, safe travels.

cuse, thanks for stopping in.

ACLTom, did you get your Matte Medium?

Karl, any news from the mitten?

After the gym and getting fuel I headed towards my next campsite.
At the exit I had to take I saw a sign for the Newberry National Volcanic Monument.
I had to see what that was.
This area had very active volcanos and there's a large field of volcanic rock.
There's a trail that goes through it, but instead I chose to do a hike along the Deschutes River.
Hadn't planned on doing a hike yesterday but plans change.
Today will be a rest day and hopefully be able to sit outside after lunch and have a cigar after lunch with my coffee.

One more s%$#y picture from Crater Lake.
