Howdy folks,

Larry, Philip, Rick, Jerry, Kyle, and Dave, many thanks for supporting my habit.

The stockcar-on-flat is finished and spotted on the layout.  The frame warped a bit again, but not as badly as it originally was.  All in all, it was a fun build.

That's it for now.  I have no idea what equipment will hit the desk next.  I have a hankering for the Mount Blue Model Company 18' Combine, but who knows...  ;D

Have fun,
mike

Great looking rolling stock.  With stock in it.   :D   Details look great, especially the cow.

Howdy,

This section begins the construction of a Mount Blue Model Company 18' combine.  The combine is planned for the trip from Quitaque to the mines to carry small supplies and miners.

Kit components

The kit is nicely made with great details and clean parts.  There is a YouTube video of one being constructed here.

Have fun,
mike

Assuming the cow will soon become steak dinners and roast beef sandwiches, somewhere along the line.

Pass the steak sauce please.

Mike, don't do it, it's a slippery slope that you can't get off of, and they are very addictive, I'm currently building 4 of their boxcars.  ;D

You will enjoy building it, Mount Blue kits are very well designed and go together really well.

Oh, as for the stock car, the warped floor gives it character, very well done.

Howdy folks,

Larry, Jerry, Dave, Rick, Ron, Philip, and Tom, thank you for your comments and for following the build. Thanks for the encouragement for Mount Blue Models.

Speaking of which, the majority of the painting is done, and after the paint dries, it will be time to put it together.  Need to figure out how to add weight...

Have fun,
mike
