Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at a mild feel like temp of 86F. A cool front must have come through! :o

Yesterday ended up being a bunch of errands along with the skunk events. The 4 were turned over around 4 pm. After getting home we placed Sunny the kit in the dining room and took down the living room pen. She's OK with adult females but not the males (her size).

Today the only thing on the schedule is chores (I hope). Dad flies out early evening Tuesday.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning folks,

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.  Wishing you a restful day.

How is the crew today?

It's a bright morning with a forecast of 94°F.  I plan to spray weed killer on the lawn while it's cool and the wind isn't blowing.

Yesterday afternoon, I didn't go upstairs, but I did buy paint for the layout.  Not sure what today has in store, just playing it one day at a time.

Have fun,
mike

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast this morning. Sounds like you had a very busy day; maybe relax a little today?

Mike nice you were able to purchase the paint you needed. Sometimes no plans works out better in the long run.

What's going on today?

It's an on & off rainy kind of day with over 90% humidity. It's currently 78 going to 89 in New York. Back into the 90's a couple of days then a cool down....yippee. A little bench time planned but not sure about the rest of the day.

Have an enjoyable day!! Be well and stay safe.

Good morning everyone.

Boise weather: Sunny and hot, with a high near 94.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Hope there aren't too chores and looks like you've got the skunks under control.

Mike, I look forward to seeing some of that paint on the layout.

Larry, have fun at the bench.

TomO, glad you're able to enjoy the gathering.
Sounds like lots of fun.

Dave, how was scotch club?

Karl, that sure is some tannin filled water.
I've seen examples of that in my travels.

Jerry, did you spend the day at the beach?

Philip, another AC day today?

ACLTom, how was yesterdays BS'ing?

Ron, looks like today's race might be a rainy mess.

Today is birthday number 68 for this traveling photographer.  ;D
Have to do a Costco and laundromat stop before I can treat myself to lunch.
It's too dang hot here Boise and I'll leave here ASAP.

I don't remember if I've posted this one already.
Sorry if I did.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning crew.

Wife made me blueberry pancakes this morning. Yum.

Raining up here at Nothern Command so heading home. Need to pick up the VW from the repair shop Monday morning. Needed a starter and front strut springs. One was broken so they need to replace both sides for an even ride. So they say.

Looks like Rich (aka Penman) will be up to visit on Monday sometime. Look forward to his visit.

Have great day everybody.

Bright and hazy sun with heat and humidity the highest we've seen all month here at the original Northern Command.  Planning to head back home tomorrow is the plan for today.  The Doll keeps checking the weather app so she knows just how miserable to feel.  70s feels like 90s already, going to 90 feels >100 tomorrow.  Grand daughter is having an issue with her car, '22 Trail Blazer, a dash light came on after we left Marquette yesterday, ran fine but even after a shut down it's still showing.  Will see if it can be checked at one of the auto parts stores to see what it might have stored.  Puts a crimp into the plans to head home, 5 hours.

They were having the Blueberry Festival in Marquette yesterday, we arrived just after a parade, just in time to encounter a group of angry haters that had been sowing their vitriol with hand made signs and knitted eyebrows.  >:(

It was a nice trip to and from the bunker to the city.

Enjoy the day everyone.  Be safe.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICK!

The focus on last night's Scotch Club was Islay, and I brought out my bottle of Port Charlotte 10.  We started, though, with a Canadian single malt, Glen Breton, that we all agreed was pretty interesting.  Another great photo, Rick, looks like a classic tarn lake.

Yesterday's weather was great, today's not so sunny, warmer and more muggy.  Florida-like conditions return tomorrow for a couple of days.

Hopefully a bit more progress on the machine shop today.  Last week was a loss...

Still hunkering down. Went to the garden for about 10 minutes drenched in sweat quickly. More of the same hot HUMID weather. The nights have been 77 or so.

Hard to believe Friday will end July. Have a great Sunday!

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt.

Rick, yes, Bill and I had our own little BS'ing going on.

Pam and I made an early morning trip to Lowes. She wanted to get two more flowering plants for around the pool and I got two bags of rock salt for the water softener.

I'm spending some time in the train shed today. Later who knows?

Have a safe and happy Sunday everyone.

Good morning everyone. Been 3 or 4 weeks since I have posted so I figured I should at least drop by. Being summer we have had some company coming and going so we have been very busy between taking care of our animals and entertaining guests. Today we are going to the rodeo finals at Cheyenne Frontier Days...'The Daddy of them all' if you don't follow rodeo then for you its just another rodeo. But for the contestants and folks who follow rodeo it is one of the biggest rodeos of the season and one that is on every rodeo cowboys bucket list.
Company is leaving tomorrow so hooefully things will slow down a notch it 2 and I can get back to some train stuff.

We did have the big boy go screaming through last weekend taking VIPs to Cheyenne frontier days.

We also saw this massive elk near Estes Park yesterday

Hope everyone has a banner day!

Good morning Crew. It's again nasty humid at 100% this morning. So. Central Wisconsin is under a dense fog advisory till 9 this morning or about another 45 minutes. At wake up I could barely see the outline of the houses across the street. We have a threat level 1 warning for damaging winds today. The high temperature should get into the low 90's.

The last 2 days of events at the daughters and family's new place have been fun but slightly exhausting. Basically they are moved in.

The son and his girlfriend are here till he says around 9am Monday when they fly to Indianapolis to pick up the charter he dropped off last week. His new housing project for his property in Wimberley, Texas is in limbo. He knew the drive was 45 to 60 minutes from Austin but is having second thoughts. The house on the ranch is being slightly remodeled and will be ready for the girlfriend's mom and sister to move in. While I cautioned against that he separated the house and a few acres from the rest into a new business. He says they have a legal rental agreement no handshake deals.

There were left overs from all the food served. Today is left over day at the daughter's.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICK

Enjoy the day
TomO
