Good morning everyone.

53 now, cloudy and 66 later.

ACLTom, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Hope you make good progress with that finicky kit.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and got to spend it with family and friends.
Anyone get and modeling gifts?
I had a great time watching the kids open their gifts and then later had an excellent ham dinner at the grandmothers home.

Today is Star's 7'th birthday.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Tom. Have fun with your friend.

Larry thanks for breakfast #2.

Yesterday was nice at daughter's house with the family and friends. I recieved a couple of PRR branded items. We got home around 8 pm and after a little cleanup I was in bed. Still not sleeping well because of the skin irritation and I've developed a low grade headache-probably from the meds I'm taking because ASA doesn't do anything.

Today SIL should be out to help with pool tower. Have more cleaning to do and might get to the workbench.

Larry great chapter but I found an obvious flaw- where is the train room and workbench?

I hope everyone has a good day.

Star looks very happy!

Sunny and chilly in SE NH, currently +9 up from +7, en route to 21.  Sunny, still fresh snow on the ground.  The plows went through early this morning with post-storm clean-up.

I'm continuing the pick-up/put-away project, but today I should (spray)paint the corrugated siding pieces so they'll be ready to cut tomorrow when the paper cutter gets here.  I'm always surprised to find there's an actual floor in the train room underneath all the junk that gets spread out as I work on a project.

Good morning folks,

TomACL, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast. Koontz is looking good.

Larry, thanks for the breakfast. Stay warm and enjoy the bench.

Rick, Happy Birthday to STAR.  She's looking good...

Curt, good luck with the pool tower. Hope you can sleep soon.

How is the rest of the crew?

It's a cloudy morning with a high forecast of 71°F.  Yesterday was a fun day with our Daughter.  Santa brought me a set of Vallejo paints and a Mount Blue 18' coach.  I'm in tall cotton.

I finished adding siding to the forge shed on the derrick.  Roofing is next.

Have fun,
mike

Freezing rain in the 100% forecast this morning, I have PT at 11.  Back home will try to decompress and look over the winter projects.  Warming some thru the day should eaze up on the ice.  I sure hope so.  It sure looks ugly outside.

Happy Birthday to STAR.

BE well all, KarlS

Good morning ACLTom, Larry, Rick, Curt, Dave, Mike, Karl and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfasts Tom and Larry, a fruit bowl sounds great today.

Tom, looking forward to the update on your build.

Larry, have fun at the bench.

Rick, Happy Birthday to Star.

Curt, hope the pool tower install goes well this time.

Dave, your train room has a floor?  ;D  One day I'll get around to cleaning off my layout that was not used as a storage space is now covered with stuff.  How that has happened is beyond me as I've been working on the road for the past 13 years.  :o  I no longer work on the road and have been home since July and it still hasn't been cleaned off.

Mike, you will like the Mount Blue kit, a little patience will be needed but they go together real well.

Karl, enjoy your day.

Current temperature is -18c (-1f) and overcast.  There is no white stuff in the forecast today.  Had a nice quiet day yesterday and this afternoon we will be visiting my mother.  Hopefully will get some bench time tonight.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning, everyone. Sun is warm coming through my South-facing windows, but I've got shutters closed on the other sides of the house.  The kid's flight to Florida was 2 hours late, no explanation given.  After dropping him off, we tried a new-to-us "Asian street food" place in Portsmouth. Owners are said to be Thai, food was good, happy to have arrived before 5:30. Then to the maternity floor to meet the grandson. He slept most of our visit.

Today I've got several modeling projects I can work on, maybe a few more year-end donations.

Good morning abpnd everyone's Christmas went as planned. We had a good time at the daughter's.

The son and g/f plan to leave today and the truck is packed, just need themselves and the dog and off they can go.

Heavy fog this morning was supposed to lift by 9 but as usual Mother Nature is laughing at the guessers.

I have no real plans until the son takes off.

Enjoy your day

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

I made through the night for the first time in a week without having to get up for medicine or ointment.;D Yesterday the pool tower was installed. I need to go out and check for leaks again. On the workbench I prepped the crane mechanism (white metal) and test fit the parts together. I also went to Ace and bought a  set of flush cut cutters.

Today I'll take down the Christmas tree and hopefully start assembling the crane mechanism.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Great news on a good night's sleep. Have fun de-decorating and hope you make it to the bench.

What's your plans for the day.

It's 17 with a high of 26 in New York. Received about 4 inches of white crap overnight so I know what's on the agenda for this afternoon. Went to start the Escape yesterday and the computer threw up some info "Engine failure service now". Called my mechanic and he'd never heard of that before. Googled it and let's just say it isn't good news. Dropping the car off tomorrow so it's there Monday am and see what he comes up with. Needless to say I went online looking at new, to me, vehicles....how I HATE car shopping. Maybe some bench time this am.

Have a great day!! Be well and stay warm.
