Good Morning;

Sorry to hear ACLTom is down with the crud but glad to hear others on the mend. Love the photos and Rick pass the coffee!. I'm sitting on back porch enjoying the pleasant (72 ish) sunny weather catching up on e mail and getting ready to watch the Bucs play at 1:00.

My better half and I met up with a son, daughter and their spouses yesterday for late lunch in Tampa. Had a great time, the secret is just stay away from talking about anything but the weather. I love them all dearly but ...funny thing is I suspect I had all the answers at their age too. Hope they do something with the knowledge before they become forgetful like me! My daughter gave me a really neat gift for modeling, hand gloves that light! I used them this morning cutting supports off of 3D printed parts. They really help spot the right place to cut. Here is a photo:

I'm having the printer begin to make the trusses needed for my lift bridge so like I said handy. Here are some of what the printer is making as I write this:

So that's all I have. Enjoy the day.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Yesterday I epoxied the 6 inside braces to the Foundry inside walls and started applying white metal details to the exterior walls. That will continue today after chores.

Dave I hope your wife is doing better.

Tom I hope you are feeling better.

Jim I'm asking Santa for a pair.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Have fun with the kit; it's really starting to shape up.

Dave hope your wife is on the mend.

Tom wishing you a speedy recovery as well.

What's the plan for your day.

It's a windy 32 with a high of only 37 in New York. Received a dusting of the white crap and maybe more throughout the day...brrr. Time to break out the winter coat which I've been avoiding like the plague. A few errands shortly then inside for the rest of the day; maybe some more bench time as I'm trying to figure out the belt-lines for the Shop.

Have a great day!! Be well and stay warm.

Larry, it is getting to be coat season.

Jim, very interesting glove.

James, how was the charity event?

Jerry, any bench time?

Karl, sorry about the mower.
Good news about the 3D printing.

Dave the 5'th, hope your wife is feeling better.

Dave, have you started putting the walls together?

TomO, safe travels home.

Ron, more boxcar work yesterday?

ACLTom, hope you're feeling much better today.

Terry, hello.

Greg, haven't heard from you in a while.

Went shopping with Deion (youngest grandson) yesterday.
He ended up getting two RC cars a lethal Nerf gun.
He wanted nachos for his birthday (he turns 9 today) dinner so I made those for the gang.
After dinner we had cake.
Star has been having a great time with the kids.
Today I'm heading to Kingman for a few days and the plan is to do a few hikes while there.

This is from a hike I did in Nevada a couple of weeks ago.

TomACL, get well wishes heading your way.

Terry, have a good one.

Ron, the boxcars look great!

Dave, good luck with the machine shop walls.

Dave, good morning!

Karl, good luck with the mower repair.

Jerry, there is nothing wrong with procrastinating yard work.

James, hope the charity event went well.

Jim, congrats on your Daughter's gift.  Cool.

How is the rest of the gang?

Thanks for the well wishes for my hand.  Sadly, it still hurts, but only when gripping at a certain angle.  I was able to work upstairs for a while yesterday.

It's a bright morning at 45°F, headed to 69°F this afternoon.  Groceries this morning, then upstairs for a while.

Have fun,
mike

Rick, it is NATIONAL TAKE A HIKE DAY and I nominate you to be our representative, a .2 for Star ::) ::) .

Finagled a way to watch the LIONS get their butts handed to them last evening. Sad

I'm now off to OPS at Keeney's.  Need a break. ;)  Deal with the green lawn ornament tomorrow. :-\

Time to run.

TomO/Tloc

Hit a deer Win a Deere. Thats the sign in front of a John Deere dealership I saw yesterday outside of Rochester, Mn. I didn't check on the rules but Ibeen hit by 5 deer over the years and 1 bear.

We leave around 9 to be home around noon. There will be a 2-1 stop at a cheese factory that is a must stop. With clean restrooms that saves another stop.

Good times with the friends. Beautiful home and I slept great last night. They are still here this morning going to work late to say good bye to us. Both are 68 and a few years ago both told us they wanted to get 25 years in at Mayo before retiring. So they both turn 70 in January of 2027 and will have the 25 years in. My friend is an administrator at Mayo and partner is a doctor so could have retired years ago but had no reason to as they love what they do.

Enjoy your day
TomO

OPS went well today. Here KYSO Baldwin 2257 backing in to the "Hunter Turn" a job that took a good part of 2 1/2 hours. Real time.

Later I captured the Gresham Yardmaster's 'Steam' switcher

Kingman, AZ, that where ATSF had the BLEVE disaster back in the day? The Video hit every fire department in the country in HAZMAT training. Probably the most interesting and frightening subject I ever payed attention to.

Back from OPS it's time for "Beans"
