Curt, I wanted to get a Good seat for this upcoming build, so...I 'm sitting front row center seat waiting for the build to begin...kinda like waiting in front of Walmart for the doors to open of Black Friday

Good morning folks,

Curt, thanks for opening and breakfast.  Good luck with the Monday kit delivery.

Larry, wishing you a festive first day of fall.

Terry, sounds like a worthy activity.

How is the rest of the crew?

The forecast is for 87°F, so it's cooling a bit.  Yesterday I continued painting details and watched all my sports teams win.

Have fun,
mike
My current build is the Masonic Lodge and miscellaneous rolling stock .

TomO/Tloc

Good morning. Hope everyone's Saturday went great.

Rick, a bit of advice from an old bill collector. Make sure the financial aid included the Doctor fees. I saw too many unknown "thought that was handled" bills show up months later. Doctors are notoriously slow billers. It should be included but don't wait for a surprise and in 60 days check your credit report to see how the hospital reported it

Decent day today with a high of 75f degrees and a 40% chance of rain around 4

Enjoy your day
TomO

Rick

Good morning everyone.

Poulsbo, WA weather: Currently 57 and a a light rain but, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 67.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Looking forward to your kit build.

TomO, thanks for the tip and the bill from the doctors is covered as well.
Fortunately the financial aid doesn't take into account my savings.  8)

Mike, I guess there will be more detail painting and sports watching today.

Terry, good morning.

Larry, have fun with the fall decorating.

Greg, good news on getting a lot done yesterday and maybe today will be a well deserved rest day.

Jerry, hope you're finding some modeling motivation.

Dave, have fun with the second story interior.

Karl, how was ops?

What's everyone else doing today?

I had a slow day yesterday too.
Smoke was getting worse yesterday in the forrest so I decided to move on.
There's a Buffalo Wild Wings and Costco near by and I'll hit both of those today and then head further south.
Watching the 'Skins game at BWW.

Smoke got worse as the morning progressed at Hurricane Ridge.

Have a great day everyone.

I post a picture on most days in Flicker.
There's one photographer that has some outstanding railroad photos in B&W.
Hopefully you can see the photos using this link: https://www.flickr.com/photos/rickerail/
You should be able to see it because it's a free site, but let me know if you can't.

Ops went well I ran several passenger trains and a freight train. Above a UP train heads past a tower into some interesting trackage at a junction and river crossing

Headed home I grabbed this quick shot of an eagle through the windshield

Sort of low key this morning, stayed up until just into the 2nd half of my Spartans mess in LA :( and it's pre-prep day for Tuesday morning and the invasion of my dignity  :o

Be well all.

Afternoon all,

Been very busy today. Grocery run, bowling practice, fixing landscape lights and cleaning the weeds out of the rose garden.

In the train shed now working on another video. Not going to publish any tine soon. I'm learning how to fade in and out and add some additional sounds.

Hope all are having a great day.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, donuts, bagels, english muffins, OJ, and soda.

Started out the day with a walk at 74F and moderate humidity. It's going to be a hot week. I see that my kit has made it to the local post office for delivery. I should see it late afternoon.

Yesterday after chores I painted the base in WS earth undercoat and it's ready. I also put up the spare table I use when I build a kit.

Today is laundry, chores, and weekly pool upkeep.

Terry I said your comment makes me cringe because of the Walmart black Friday part.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning,

Happy first day of Fall; where'd the Summer go.

Curt thanks for the coffee and doughnuts; luv a good doughnut. So glad to hear your SW Kit is arriving today; looking forward to your build.

Karl that's a scary track arrangement for sure.

What's on your plate today.

It's a partly sunny 55 with a high of 78 in New York. My cell phone was giving me issues with dropping the network for some unknown reason. Last week I called and a Tech fixed it for me. Three days later it did the same thing. This time I did an online chat and the lady gave me the instructions for resetting the network; so far so good. The phone is only 3 years old, although I did have to do another paring with my Escape but that was no big deal. Maybe some bench time later on.

Have a great day!! Be well.
