Good morning everyone.

Lakeview weather: 33 now and partly sunny with a high of 48.

Larry, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Glad you're having fun with Trainz.

Curt, hope the roof build goes smoothly.

ACLTom, congratulations on the video and I'll watch it later tonight.

Mike, have fun upstairs.

James, hope you find the right tubing.

TomO, hope you get the picture posting sorted out soon.

Karl, that's a great picture.

Jerry, good talking with you and Diane and get yourself to the bench.

Ron, a belated Happy Thanksgiving to you.

Philip, I saw you posted one of my pictures yesterday but I don't see it today.
Did you take it down?
Is the AI image your logo for your side hustle?

Dave, any particular reason you're taking German classes?

Greg, busy with work?

Yesterdays hike was a bust.
Went less than 110 feet and came to a stream which I was able to cross without getting my socks wet.
Maybe another 100' and had to cross that stream again and this time there was no way to cross without getting wet.
Turned around and walked the road that leads to the trailhead.
It was gray and had some light rain fall on us.
Did the same walk again in the Pm and the weather was perfect with beautiful clouds and fall colors to photograph.
Heading to Klamath Falls today where I do a gym stop.

This is from our hike up Hager Mountain.

Have a great day everyone.

Rick's photo looks like it should be a caption contest.  "What is Star thinking?"

I started the German lessons before we took a trip there, and continued because it's fun.  I like the people in the class, we often get off topic.  ;D

James said he got a full inch of rain, up here we barely got .25".  Every time I'd check the weather app, it said, "Rain starting in 20 minutes."  But that rain never came, and we're still quite dry.

Curt have fun at the workbench.

James I hope you get that part.

Mike looking forward to your updates.

Tom I get to watch the video later on.
Have fun bowling.

TomO are we going to see the bridge??

Rick always great talking to you.
Looks like Star is right at home.

Morning Dave have fun at the Dr,'s!

Weather in south Jersey is cloudy/54.
That should be it for the day.
I did manage to get 2 hours at the bench yesterday mor of the same today.
That's after the honey-do-list is complete.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Morning and live from the tiny text android. Thanks for the coffee Larry!

Looks to be another nice day.

That snow photo with Star was up when I Looked. Is that her intro to snow? Yes the ai is part of the side hustle. Two orders already in an uphill battle! Was 2020 when I last dealt with Rtv molds.

See you crew!

Good morning Larry, Curt, James, Mike, ACLTom, TomO, Rick, Dave, Jerry, Philip and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Larry, hope you make it to the bench so that you can starve off the withdrawal symptoms.

Curt, hope you get the roof done today, will be looking for your update.

James, hope you find the plumbing parts you need.

Mike, enjoy the birthday party tonight.

ACLTom, will have to view your video tonight, good luck bowling.

TomO,  Instructions? What are they?  ;D  Most plastic kit instructions leave a lot to be desired.

Rick, Star doesn't seem to be to happy in the photo.

Dave, hope the Dr's visit goes well.

Jerry, Is there an update in the works?

Philip, enjoy your day.

Weather here is currently 11c and rainy, a good day to work.  Finished installing the backdrop yesterday.  Next up will be smoothing the joints prior to painting.

8) Sunshine and mid 50s.  Another day of nice.

The CHATGTP demo on the graphic transformation was  :o astounding , as have been others I've seen.  My daughter in Graphic Arts has told us about using it in her work designing web presence for various Lottery providers and how it is so helpful.  AI stuff is affecting us all.  A W. Michigan is having massive layoff's due to AI "Major Grand Rapids company laying off 400 people due to AI, 200 in West Michigan My girl just left her most recent job and changing to become a consultant for a commercial construction group.  Due to SOB company, not AI, but she's seen the handwriting on the wall, and it wasn't hers.  :o

Enjoyed the OPS at Andy's, I ran two local switching trains, puzzles so to speak, as well as the BnO road train.  It was a fun time.  Andy's layout is featured in two of Model Railroad Hobbiest's paid suppliment earlier this year.  I may make a cameo appearance and JoeF hovered over me for awhile while I worked a local switching job when he was here.  I've not seen it, yet, even tho I have a "prescription" ;) to the Running Extra.

1:1 today, furnace guy coming back to put in stainless steel burners to replace ours he said were not up to spec. "Propane burns dirtier" or maybe sales are slow.  I know from what they wanted for the generator, they ain't selling many of those.  We have another fellow coming this week to give us a estimate, electrician goes by Sparky

Das it.

Neat snow pix Rick.  Shsssssh....weather geek here this morning said historically at least 25% of Octobers 'suffer' from snow.  No prediction of any, yet.  I did see some master click baiters online screaming about catastrophic snow events coming.  Due to one of them Mexican folk, El Niño or La Niña

Good Morning All,

Breakfast today is coffee, cereal, assorted. pastries, OJ, and soda.

Another poor night of sleep. While running errands yesterday I noticed the battery light came on, so that's something else to check on today. Also need to clean floors today. I don't know if I'll make it to the workbench today or not.

TomO very nice job on the bridge.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Sorry to hear about not sleeping well; maybe a nap later.

Rick I hope you enjoyed the "white crap"; I know I'm not looking forward to its arrival. I can just hear Star now "Really Rick; we walked all the way up here for this???

What's your plans.

It's 49 with a high of only 56 w/some wind here; good day to maybe sit at the bench for a bit. Must be something going around, I slept like crap last night. I made the mistake eating a rich desert too late in the day and battled heartburn all night; nothing seemed to help. At least this morning that was gone so a nap shortly for a couple of hours.

Have a great day!! Be well.

Good morning everyone.

Klamath Falls weather: it's 38 now and a high of 58 and sunny later.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
Hope you sleep better tonight and hope the battery isn't a big issue.

Larry, hope you sleep better tonight too.

TomO, congratulations on getting the picture posted sorted out and the bridge looks great.

Karl, we live in interesting times.
AI will radically change our lives.
Will it be for the better will be the challenge.

Ron, any more backdrop progress and what's next after the backdrop?

Philip, congratulations on the orders and hope you get many more.

Jerry, great news on the bench time.

Dave, your doctors advice would pertain to all of us.

ACLTom, I watched your video yesterday.
Very well done.
Especially liked how you added the sound of the rolling stock rumbling down the rails.

Jim, James, Mike and everyone else looking in, hope you are all well.

You guys are funny and you couldn't be more wrong about Star.
She loves the s#$@.
She eats it and rolls around in it.
If she's thinking anything in that photo, it's hurry up Dad and take the picture so I go play.
Todays plan is to visit a RR themed attraction.
I'll tell more about it tomorrow.

Good morning folks,

Curt, thanks for opening, coffee, and breakfast.  Good luck getting some sleep.

Larry, enjoy your nap.

It's 53°F, headed to 84°F this afternoon.  Sweetie goes to the spa (groomer) at 10; otherwise, I have no plans for the day.

Have fun,
mike

Good morning, Curt, Larry, Rick, Mike and later arrivals.  Overcast on the NH seacoast but I can see where the sun is. Probably not later.  Nice bridge, Tom.

Plumber never showed Monday so Tuesday I got parts and replaced the corroded hydronic radiant heat panel with straight tubes.  Repressurized ok, boiler fired up, will do till I can get a replacement panel.  No frost in the 10 day forecast and we would only miss that panel on a night below 20F.

Busy busy busy all day with paperwork, putting the last of the storms on, shipping a package of pawpaws to a family member and packing.

Good morning from Wisconsin. 50 now heading to 56 with times of rain.

I was in last night playing with pictures and I opened the bar, hit POST and the story I wrote disappeared. I'll figure it out.

Yesterday we went and saw a 2.75 hour long movie that I was not looking that forward to. 2 hours 15 minutes is a long movie now a days and with an additional 30 minutes I wanted to say no to! Boy was I wrong, Sean Penn and Leonardo DiCaprio were absolutely magical in One Battle after Another. We've gone to lots of Oscar nominated movies over the years and these 2 guys were absolutely great. The movie flew by

With the rain predicted I think the Wednesday Farmers Market is out. Not sure what today will bring.

I have enough of the bridge primed I am going to remove the Tamiya tape protecting the glue edges and put the upper cross bracing and iron work on. Let it dry then spray some more. I don't have the bridge track yet from my friend I am building for. But yesterday I took some track and had no issue manipulating it into position while the upper pieces were dry fitted. So that will take with drying times and piece of mind breaks most of my available time between 9am and 4pm. The final coloring and for weathering those track pieces I'm not sure I'd want installed anyway

Thank you for the bridge comments

Enjoy your day

Morning everyone

Curt thanks for the coffee & breakfast.
You need a nap later on.

TomO that's a great bridge your building.

Larry glad the heartburn is gone.

Rick that is one of best pictures you've done.  It almost looks fake.
You sure are excellent at picture taking.

Mike have fun doing whatever!

James glad you got the boiler working again.

Weather in South Jersey sunny/58.  Later on 68.
Should be a nice Fall day.
I believe we have grocery shopping to do today only if we want to eat this coming week!!  ;D
Hopefully some more time at the bench later in the day!!

Everyone have a great day!!  :)
