Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening and breakfast Tom. Sounded like a fun time.

Actually slept pretty decently last night with one bathroom break. Getting up this morning I'm still itchy but not the scratch your skin off type. Hopefully I've started the healing part of this.

Yesterday the new pool tower came in. I checked it and all the threaded areas are as they should be. I also glued the crane legs in place on the diorama and blackened the white metal parts after errands.

Today is floor day ugh. Not sure if I'll make it to the workbench because I may be helping MOH in kitchen for tomorrow at daughter's house.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning all! Tom, thanks for breakfast.  I'll put some cider and apples on the counter; our largest local orchard usually sells their own fruit well into February.  The jug with the mother at the bottom is a little hard.

Dawn is making the scattered light clouds pink underneath, but the sun hasn't gotten above the trees yet. I just got in from clearing part of the driveway,.  Only 3" in the cold spots, almost bare where it's sheltered.  A skim of crusty ice on my PV panels, they'll clear themselves not long after the sun is fully on them. No grandson yet.

Good morning everyone.

58 now, cloudy and 71 later with a chance of rain all day.
Flood warnings are posted.

ACLTom, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
What a great thing you and Pam do for the seniors.

TomO, very smart not falling for the I don't want anything comment.

Karl, the printed portals look very good.

Dave, I know booze sales have been down but that news from JB is very surprising.

Curt, hope the itching has subsided.

Jerry, hope there aren't any fiascos today.

Philip, that's an interesting weight loss clinic Gena belongs to.

Ron, hope the wife's doctor visit went well.

Larry, more time with your feet up today?

How's everyone else today?

Making lasagna this morning.
Might not be a traditional Xmas dish, but it's easy to make and some of the kids are very picky eaters and I think they'll all eat it.
Kids get to open one gift today.

Sunrise on my Henderson, NV hike.

Have a great day everyone.

Tom thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Nice idea with the Hot Cocoa and such; I' sure they'l really enjoy that.

Curt nice to hear you slept better and the itching is tolerable; hope you heal quickly. Great you're helping out  the Mrs in the Kitchen; happy wife = happy life.

James I'll grab an apple, thanks. Hope the sn*w was the light and fluffy kind.

Rick I'm sure the lasagna will taste great. Enjoy family time and the one present time. Today will be meal prep day.

What's your plans.

It's a cloudy 36 with a high of 38 in New York. Most of Central NY is under a "water conservation" event at the moment due to multiple waterman breaks; for once I'm glad I'm on a well. I baked off a loaf of pumpkin bread earlier so most of the prep work is done for dinner tomorrow. Daughters coming over @ 1pm Christmas for a ham dinner and see what Santa left.

Have a great day!!! Be well and be careful out there if you have to go out among the crazies.

Heavy frost and upper 20s under grey sky this morning in Mid Central Western Lower Peninsula area of the Mitten.  :o

Half the family coming this afternoon.  The Doll is in food prep mode already.  :) Mac N' Cheez and ham for today.

I did some painting yesterday, using a Harbor Freight $20 airbrush, it all went 'ok' not sure how second part will go.  I got the turntable repairs made and the unit is in the intended place  The roundhouse has suffered from it's 90% status with loose parts and missing roof panels.  It will get attention in due time.

Little to add.  Everyone enjoy the holiday, friends and family.  It takes us at least two days, OIL one day and WATER the next :(

Be Well, stay safe.

Merry Christmas!

Well, a bit north of James, we got about 4-5" of mostly big fluffy snow.  There was some sleet and rain in the middle, like when my dogs decided at 01:00 AM they had to go out.

I ordered a 'guillotine' paper cutter to do the corrugated iron panels, it'll arrive this weekend.  So the time in the train room between now and then will be Much Needed pick-up/put-away.

Good morning ACLTom, Curt, James, Rick, Larry, Karl, Dave and the rest of the crew that drops in later.

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Tom, it was really nice what you and Pam did for the seniors.

Curt, glad to hear that the itching has turned to a tolerable state, hopefully it will go away real soon.

James, hope the grandson comes real soon.

Rick, have fun making the lasagna and have fun with the family on "open one present" day.

Larry, enjoy your day today.

Karl, sounds like a successful day in the train room.

Dave, looks like the pooches really like the snow.  Gracie was born in December and is a snow lover.

Current temperature is -4c (24f) and cloudy, but we should see the sun later today.  We also got some snow, will have to clean off the cars and put them on the street so that the snow service and clean the driveway.  The Mrs Dr's visit went well, and all the running around got done, won't be visiting anymore stores till after Christmas.  Yesterday's dinner got postponed till next week so that gave me a chance to get to the bench where more progress was made on the boxcars.  I posted an update on my build thread.  I don't know how much bench time I'll get in the next couple of days with everything going on.

I hope everyone has a great holiday season.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning folks,

TomACL, thanks for opening, coffee, and the hearty breakfast.

I missed checking in yesterday.  I was up and out early for our Masonic Lodge's annual Boston Butt and Brunswick Stew sale.  The crews started nine smokers early Monday.  I was the money taker.  I had setup a purchase system on the website, so it was easy to track who paid and who needed to pay.

Anyway, I am tired today.  I may go upstairs for some low-key bench work.

Have fun,
mike

"I smoked your butt" has 2 different meanings, depending on context  ;D
