Rich,

This build is coming along nicely. I think the look of the weathered stone wall is fantastic looking. Well done!

The "I" beams look good as well.

Thanks Tom,

I believe that since you are such an excellent modeler, your eyes are better than most to be watchful for areas I need to improve. With that said, please do so. Anything I can do to improve my modeling is worthwhile.

Thank you for the nice comments. With each new stone wall I do, I hope to improve what I did on the last one.
My hope is to eventually be able to color them without going too dark. As far as the I-Beams go, I need to rust them up a bit, but that will be after I complete the building. I don't want to wear off any coloring while handling the building.

Thanks for following here. I'm currently working on getting small extra features completed.
Back before the new year arrives, I hope.

On one end of the main stone building, I have a concrete slab on top of a small stone platform.
I added stairs up to the entrance door and railings. I'm currently constructing a roof over this
porch. More to follow soon.

Nice looking stairs. Now I've got a challenge for you if you decide to take it up. Replace those handrails with brass wire soldered together.  :)

I'll go over and stand in the corner now.

Howdy Rich,

The steps and porch look great. The porch stone matches the foundry paint scheme, good job. Looking forward to the roof.

Have fun,
mike

I had to go to the bathroom.  :)

I'm back in my corner.

This standing in the corner is a type of fun thing used on the Westlake Publishing Forums. when somebody makes a smart a$$ coment the moderator tells that person to go stand in the corner.
