Thanks for a Great Christmas present - more historic F&SM pictures. I love seeing where George has taken the layout over the years.  Thanks again for sharing these.

George & I thought here's a couple old rare shots of Marthaville located at the rear of the layout next to Dovertown as seen through a tiny hole in the backdrop.  Enjoy!  Thanx Thom... Hey BTW how do I post pics side by side with written captions next to them.  I'm definitely a bit sloooow.

Just a quick post to let you know I haven't forgot about this thread - I'm in the process of preparing the next batch of pictures.  I also have good news,  I had a long talk with George this week and we have set a date for me to go back and take more photographs.


I'm really looking forward to spending some more time with George.  I will be filling in some of the holes in this thread and taking better photographs of the structures we have already covered.
