The Doll thought if she washed them in hot water they might shrink, way to much material to shrink enough

Well, I guess that's better than The Doll saying, "That's OK, you'll grow into them."   ;D

Damp in SE NH, showers expected off and on all day, some could be heavy.  But as usual, it looks like the worst of the line of showers is passing to the north of us.

Off to PT in a bit, should be my last session for this problem at least for now.  I got a massage gun to work on the sore hip, and that's helped a lot.  I like my PT place, but I don't want to spend out my entire allotment of PT now, in case I need it for a different problem later.

If I get some motivation, I'll work more on the lighting.  But right now I'm not feeling it.  I slept OK last night, but I'm probably still tired from the night before (both dogs woke me up in the middle of the night for 'urgent walkies'.)

Howdy folks,

Just a quick duck in.  We left early this morning for the Panama City beaches for father's day. Bad storms are missing us, but the wind is horrendous.

I'll get the computer out tomorrow for cruising.the forum.

Good Morning All,

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, OJ, and soda.

Starting off here at 80F and humid. Summer is truly here. Yesterday was spent running errands for MOH while she napped after being up a lot with the kits. Later, I met up with Terry and we traded Navy and family war stories ;D and I now have the power, well at least hand power.

Today we, and I mean me, have to clean out the pens, change blankets etc. I hope to make it to the workbench at some point.

Nothing else going on this way.

Tom good to hear you are back to normal in the train shed.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning,

Curt thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Hope you make it to the train room today.

What's your plans for today?

It's another sunny day @ 64 with a high of 73. Very windy yesterday and we were under sever thunderstorm warnings and a severe tornado watch until 3pm yesterday. While some folks had wind damage and power outages we did not; thank God. The usual Friday am errands then maybe some bench time.

Have a great and safe day!! Be well.

Morning all,

Thanks for breakfast Curt. Good luck with your chores and hope you do get to the bench.

Yes, all the carpet tiles are back in place and the train shed cleaned. I did do some minor work on the Horwood build but didn't get a chance to post any updates.

At the last minute we decided to go and get more roses yesterday afternoon. After that I wasn't in the modeling mood. This morning I'll plant the rest of the roses, edge and cut the grass. Hopefully, I'll have some energy left to work on the build and post.

The roses are now calling my name. see ya'll later.

Have a safe and happy day everyone.

Good morning from Wisconsin. 55 now 65f degrees later. The WeatherChannel synopsis for the day says a steady rain all day. The radar app shows nothing that can produce rain any time today. Unless the storm front moving west to east across northern Wisconsin drops 200 miles we should be great! The hourly % chance of rain is all single digits except at 8pm. I'm betting on no rain today!

Heading north for a 4-5 hour work session. This is the last Friday work session as the invitational is next weekend. There have been crews doing last minute stuff for the last 16 days. Tomorrow is the official shakedown cruise. I will be concentrating on my responsibilities today and tomorrow. The 2 staging yards are mine! Stacked together I will be Cleaning track and testing the 11 tracks in each yard. I know there are a few guys working on the dispatch system today and tomorrow. Mainly the crews today are doing more trouble shooting. I was asked last night around 11:30 if I'd look at the main entrance turn back loop and tell him if I could scenic it by next Friday. I'll look but if he was 15 minutes away I'd say no problem but being 45-50 minutes away it's doubtful other than getting something down to prevent trains from hitting the floor. I love helping my friend but this has been totally unorganized from day 1 that started 20 months ago. But it will be ready including the back up NCE systems that 2 of the guys are carrying in their cars just in case of. We all want this to succeed and it will.

Enjoy the day
TomO

Rick

Good morning everyone.

Currently 55 here with some light rain.
But later this morning it will clear up and be sunny with a high in the mid 70's.
Weather here has been perfect with the mild temps.

Curt, thanks for the coffee and breakfast.
You've got your hands full with all those kits.

Larry, glad the storms missed you.

ACLTom, good news on the shed and have fun with the roses.

Mike, enjoy the Father's Day get away and hope the weather stays nice.

Jerry, keep on shingling.

Dave, hope you slept better last night.

Karl, not familiar with that movie.
Maybe have to check it out.

Ron, good idea protecting the trains while traveling.

Philip, good news on Indy and missing the storms.

Had a great nights sleep and slept much later than usual.
Changing my bank and address with RR Retirement went surprisingly much quicker and easier than expected.
Expecting a delivery from Costco between 12 and 2.
Nothing else planned yet.

This is again an older photo.
This time from Copper Harbor in Karl's UP.

Tom sounds like yard work is calling your name.

TomO how big is this layout your helping with??

Rick sounds funny usually you would be saying your driving somewhere.

Weather in South Jersey cloudy/74.  Later 83.
Not sure what's on the agenda today.
We have one of the grandkids here for the weekend.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Good morning crew!

Thanks for the coffee Curt!

Ole boy Indy ventured out at 3 am (ugh) this morning into the fenced area. He is reacting to being petted, tail partially responding.

Looks like a beautiful day brewing. I need to get on the job, mowing etc.

Philip
