Rick

Good morning everyone.

I have very poor cell service here so this will be very brief.

I'm at the trailhead for today's hike.
The goal is to do two 14ers.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning All,

Thanks for opening Rick. Enjoy your hike today.

Today for breakfast is coffee, cereal, bagels, yogurt, pastry, OJ, and soda.

Had a good night's sleep, not even getting up for the bathroom. Today after chores I plan on doing workbench stuff. ;D  Speaking of, for those that enjoy SW kits Brett is supposed to reveal his 2026 kit between Fri and Mon.

Tomorrow I'm tagging along with MOH for breakfast with the rest of the moderators of the local community website.

Jerry not even close to an update. :-\

Tom I hope you're feeling better.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning Gents,

Rick thanks for opening and have a safe and enjoyable hike.

Curt getting an uninterrupted nights sleep is almost as good was winning the lottery. Enjoy breakfast and your time at the bench.

What's going on in your world?

It's a sunny 71 with a high of 80 something. Going to Wegmans shortly for a couple of Rx's for Ellie and a few other items. Maybe some bench time later amount other things.

Have a great day!! Be well, keep cool, and stay safe.

Good morning, Rick, Curt, Larry and crew.  The NH Seacoast is about 70F and sunny, headed for 90-ish later so I'm shutting the windows I had open overnight.  Off to Seashore for more track work, though we may do an early quit if it gets too hot or we accomplish our main objective.

Morning everyone

Rick have a safe hike.  Is Star going up with you??

Curt thanks for the coffee & breakfast.
Glad you got a good night's rest.

Larry hope you can make it to the bench.

James good luck with the track work.

Weather in South Jersey P. sunny/73.  Later on 85.
Taking a friend for a Dr. visit this am.
He's not sure he can drive afterwards.
I did manage to paint the stripwood for the siding last night.
Hopefully later today I can glue it on and start the shingles.

Everyone have a great day!!  :)

Good morning everyone,

Thanks for the coffee and breakfast Curt.

Current weather is 22c (72f), overcast with rain in the forecast.  No modeling the last couple of days as the patient (Gracie) has been a hand full the last couple of days.  She is like the energizer bunny so keeping her calm and quiet is an almost impossible task.  :o  The good news is that she is doing much better and recovering well.  I'm hoping to make it back to the bench tonight.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning...  As James said, hot weather here today and tomorrow, but the weekend looks cooler.  Nothing to report on the train front, I should at least unpack the scenery stuff I got Tuesday.  I got several different adhesives to try, I'm looking for something to glue trees/shrubs into position that has good tack, sets very quickly, and dries clear.  Will report back if I find something that works well.

Howdy folks,

I started the day last night, preparing for an endoscopy and colonoscopy today.  Just now felt like getting online.

Hope all is well with the crew.

Have fun,

I have been planting trees into 2" foam board and also 5/8" drywall. I use Loctite Heavy Duty power Grab. It's sets up fairly quickly under 5 minutes. I also have used Liquid Nails for Projects and it is fairly close to the same setup time

Good morning everyone.

It's 42 in Frisco, sun and clouds all day with a high of 73.

Coffee, sodas and OJ are ready.
Breakfast burrito stuffed with scrambled eggs, bacon and cheddar are today's breakfast.

Mike, doing both on the same day is fine as long as they washed the probe each time they used it.  ;)  8)

Karl, that is an outstanding photo.
I'd print it and hang it on the wall.

Dave, it will be interesting to read what you think of the adhesives.

Philip, good morning.

Ron, very glad Gracie is doing better.

Jerry, glad you got some bench time.

James, did it get too hot?

Larry, did you ever get your SW shipment?

Curt, great news on the sleep and I wonder what Brett is making next.

ACLTom, how are you feeling?

TomO, still in Pasadena?

I only achieved half of my hiking goal yesterday.
Got to the top of Grays Peak and looked across the way to Torreys Peak and decided it was too far and steep to do in one day.
I can always go back another time and do Torreys on it's own.
Started hiking at 4:30 and it rained for the first hour.
It stopped briefly and then started up again but this time it s#$%ed.
Got very windy too.
Bad enough climbing up the trail on the rocks but having them covered in a coating of s$%# made me take more time than usual.
By the time I got to the top the bad weather moved on at the sun was out.
7.8 miles and 3,009' of climbing.
Took it easy the rest of the day and more of the same today.

Star and me at the top yesterday.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning,

Rick thanks for the coffee and breakfast. Wow! That's quite the hike; smart not over doing it though. Star has this look of "Now what." Yes the Sw order came last week after taking the scenic route to my house.

What's your plans for the day.

It's a cloudy 70 with a high of 83 and maybe wet rain. Errands to run shortly then hopefully working on the cutoff saw for a bit.

Have an enjoyable day!! Be well and stay safe.
