Sorry, we only have bagels and cream cheese available this morning. Tea as well. Coffee lovers are on your own. There's probably a Starbucks nearby. Right next to another Starbucks.

I did manage to get some workbench time in over the past few days. Next session should be 'glue the walls together' session.

Preparing for our next trip. I don't expect driving up I95, 26, 77 and 81 will be quite the same experience as cruising the Rhine River.

Yesterday's plumbing project ended up, surprisingly, being a success. But it took longer than anticipated and killed any motivation to hit the workbench. 

Just came back from breakfast with friends so next up is yard work. Yuck.

Happy Canada Day to those up North!

Currently 81, feels like 94, and heading to 89 down here in Central Florida. Rain expected this afternoon. I got my morning walk in first thing this morning and worked up quite a sweat in the process.

A few chores to deal with today. Already replaced the A/C filter. Now to deal with a cantankerous faucet in the bathroom. Hopefully I can find the part I need for it but I'm not going to hold my breath. I the whole thing needs to be replaced it'll be more challenging.

Maybe some workbench time afterwards.

Well, I spent my afternoon booking next June's river cruise. It'll start with a couple of days in Lucerne before we head to the boat in Basel. The last stop will be in Nuremberg. My better half and I wished each other Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, Happy Anniversary, Happy Mothers Day and Happy Fathers Day when we were done.

Jim, I built that engine house for Cuse several years ago. The biggest problem I recall running into was the large door warped slightly when the layers were glued together.

We went through the drive up lane at Panera this morning where we were treated to our a free breakfast courtesy of the driver in front of us who had paid for our order. Nice way to start a pleasant Sunday. 

I hope to spend some quality time at the workbench this afternoon.

Not too much going on here today. I got my walk in early. Now the rest of the day is mine so maybe I'll get back at the Gunsmith shop and make some progress there.

Normally I don't attach pictures this way, so we'll see if this works. It's a railway tunnel portal along the Rhine River.

the camera is an old Sony Cybershot. It has buttons on the back. By feel, I know which one triggers the time delay for the shutter. If I swapped it out for my newer (but still old) camera there wouldn't be any buttons on the back, and I'd probably have to pick it up every time to turn on the time delay.
